The taste of the donuts is excellent and reminds me of old donut shops growing up when I was a kid. The dough was fluffy and tasted great, and the flavorings and icings were very flavorful but not too sweet like some of the places today. The owners were very friendly and you could see the pride in their place. I highly recommend anyone that enjoys donuts to try this place. I am so happy that we did. I had to come back and edit this as I ate the apple fritter after I wrote this. No lie, the best apple fritter I have ever had. Wow!!!

I decided on a couple of donuts, a Glazed and a Bavarian Crème that had chocolate on top, and a small coffee. Turned out on the day I was there you get a free donut when you purchase a coffee. The donuts were large. The glazed wasn't as airy as you may find elsewhere but it was sweet and fine. The other donut was excellent, lots of chocolate and inside there was lots of crème. I liked them both. Service was good, the person may not have been a bubbling over with joy individual but interacted very well with me and other customers that came in later while I sat at one of their tables enjoying my food. Yes, there was a 4% service charge, probably credit card related, that was not disclosed anywhere except maybe on the payment screen. Normally I would rant about that and even take away a star, but looking at my receipt it only cost me 18 cents so I'm not going to care very much this time.

I spent near $30 and most of it went to the trash as they were hard and not fresh at all. There was only one young man working, and while nice, he seemed bored and uninviting. 8.5/10 good stuff…read more ive had these donuts a few times. they're quite large so there's a lot to chew on. the flavors they have on display are also great but a lot of the time i do feel they are overly sweet (biggest recipient of this hinderance would be the cookie monster flavor, the icing is just too much) but it's not that bad a lot of the time as well. the service is good and the ambiance is also good. i do feel the timing of this association is quite rough though; only being open from 7:00am-2:00pm for a snoozer like me isn't great but i understand why that is.
