I have stopped by twice in the last two weeks as I've been headed nearby for appointments. It's a beautiful, tasteful space inside with seating, a bathroom, fresh flowers and tasty espresso for me! They use Buddy Brew coffee which is a nice local choice from Tampa. Buddy Brew is one if the first local roasters in Tampa and they continue to thrive! Beangood also offers Vietnamese coffee and many other drinks but I tend to stick with a double espresso for the full taste experience, caffeine jolt and small volume. Coming from California where we're spoiled with lots of good quality matcha and coffee, I was surprised to find a place quite similar. The matcha latte was decent. I really liked that they had a sugar-free vanilla option. It's a bit sweeter than the regular vanilla syrup, since i only got one pump but it made the drink taste like 50% sweetness. My only complaint is the water-to-milk ratio, as it was too watery in my opinion. It has a good amount of matcha, not too bitter and mixed smoothly with no clumps. The jasmine matcha latte was good. The taste of jasmine tea and matcha was very well balanced, this cafe did it really well. However, it was too sweet and I would definitely adjust down to 50% next time. Tiramisu latte was yummy! It was definitely more on the bitter side at 75% sweetness but it's exactly how I like my coffee. Definitely strong and lots of caffeine though, I would probably not be able to finish it on my own. I gave ambiance and cleanliness a lower score because while i love the interior and seating (definitely a place I would study at), the back counter where equipment is was very messy. It was not necessary dirty but there was a bunch of random items such as protein shakes sitting in plain sight. I personally thought it ruined the ambiance. Overall, decent matcha and coffee place. The drink definitely had more of an earthy taste with just a hint of sweetness and tartness from the blueberries. The matcha was well-whisked, with no clumps. The foam was airy and lightly sweet. Overall, I think it was a well-balanced drink great for blueberry season. I also liked the the interior; it was clean and minimal with lots of sunlight filtering in. A little noisy, but not too much; I was able to read comfortably in the space. Nice local coffee shop with lots of Asian influenced drinks! Stopped here with my wife and we split a Beangood Latte (which if I remember right is a few shots of Vietnamese coffee turned into a latte and topped with a sweet airy cream/foam) and a strawberry matcha latte which did not hold back on the strawberry. Both were satisfying, the beangood latte had a potent Vietnamese coffee flavor while still being creamy and pretty light. The strawberry matcha I thought was a bit heavy on the sweet strawberry but my wife really loved it. Very cute, simplistic spot in the Pinellas Park area. It's a little off the beaten track and I almost missed it when trying to find it. The parking situation isn't super ideal unfortunately but the inside has decent seating and the vibe is very laid back. I got my usual, an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, and overall it was pretty good. The baristas are very nice and our drinks came out in a timely manner. Hands down one of the best coffee shops around!! Coffee is strong, sweet, and delicious (Vietnamese). No watery, sour, or weak coffee here. The Vietnamese drip coffee is really amazing, with a strong robust amazing flavor. The downside is they offer one size rounding down to $6. It's also only offered in one size maybe 16 oz and topped and packed with ice so I t's hard to get my straw in to the bottom, so it makes me feel like I'm getting less for more. I really wanted to love this place considering how awesome everything looked on Instagram. It's definitely an aesthetically pleasing looking spot but the drinks didn't reflect how yummy they appear to be :( I got an iced rose matcha - the matcha was good but I barely could taste the rose and I've tried quite a few rose matchas from different places between st Pete and Tampa. My fiance got a caramel latte but it literally tasted like burnt espresso beans (I promise we're not coffee snobs), he ended up politely taking it with us and disposed of it elsewhere since he couldn't even try to drink it. They didn't have hot items available today and the baked goods were basically sold out. Maybe since they were super busy the drinks weren't their usual but I don't think I'll try it again considering how many other trendy spots there are these days. I stumbled across this adorable little coffee spot thanks to a instagram. It's tucked away in a small plaza off Park Boulevard, right in the heart of boba shop central. The shop itself is on the smaller side, and when we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, there wasn't any seating available so we grabbed our drinks to go. We tried their two specialty drinks: the Tiramisu Latte and the Banana Pudding Matcha, both ordered half sweet with coconut milk ($1 upcharge). The tiramisu latte absolutely blew me away, it had a rich flavor that I think comes from Vietnamese coffee. I usually shy away from bitter brews, but the tiramisu flavor balanced it perfectly. They even topped it with my favorite childhood cookie, which sealed the deal for me! The banana pudding matcha was a fun, creative twist that worked surprisingly well. Both drinks were flavorful and unique, and I'd definitely come back to try them again...and sample more of the menu. My husband tried their good bean latte, which is so rich and flavorful - unlike any white mocha you've had before. Their coffee is so incredibly strong, but not bitter. A coffee shop like this is not what I was expecting in the plaza it was in, but I was pleasantly surprised! Interior was cute and clean. A few tables and places to sit. Coffee was really good and so was the food. Tiramisu latte: 5/5 Mascarpone and vanilla cold foam with a lady finger on top. Tasted just like tiramisu and wasn't too sweet. I also love their for here cups and straws. Glass on glass I was definitely getting what I paid for. Egg Sandwich: 4/5 Brioche bread, sauce and lots of yummy scrambled eggs. For 10 dollars my tummy was full but a little too expensive for me to order again. I also wish there was a bit more sauce. Visiting Florida from Michigan for 2 months. One month in & we FINALLY stopped here - OMG! I'm so happy we did & my bonus daughter will be even happier when she visits!! The minute I walked in it reminded me of little cafes in Portugal with minimal but beautiful decor.
