Such a neat little coffee shop with really unique flavors! The matcha is always a favorite of mine. Tried their peanut butter and jelly latte and a strawberry matcha this time and both were so delicious! Definitely a spot to check out in st Pete
This is one of the best coffee spots I've been to in the St. Pete area! The staff were super helpful and friendly! They gave me tips on the best way to drink and mix the latte I got! If you are a peanut butter lover like me, their PB&J latte is phenomenal! They really put a lot of time and effort into their drinks and food and it shows!

Daycation incorporated Asian flavors and pantry staples to offer the exciting and creative flavor combinations in coffee, matcha, and other tea beverages. The shop is small but mighty; the baristas are friendly, helpful with drink recommendations, and efficient with preparing orders. The first time I visited I ordered a "Ode to my 90s": a latte with salted black sesame cream and dates. After talking with the baristas, I learned that the flavors in this drink are exclusively in the cream top. As someone who likes flavored coffees, the barista suggested adding brown sugar syrup to the latte, which really pulled the whole drink together for me. It is nutty and toasted from the black sesame, sweet (but balanced!) from the brown sugar, and slightly rich from the cream. My only complaint is how quickly I finish it! It was such a hit for me that every time I have returned to Daycation it's been my drink of choice, despite how amazing all of the other drinks look.
The matcha here is delicious. I think this is in my top 5 for the st Pete area. My choice would of drink was the ber-ry bliss. According to them it is "Earl Grey tea with house vanilla syrup and your milk of choice House espresso or matcha Finished with a divine layer of our house-made blueberry cream top for the perfect touch of creaminess." A little tip before you shake it up, take a sip of the top so you can taste the cream top! The inside is small so it doesn't take a long line to almost be outside the business. They have seating inside and out but again, not much. This is definitely a place where I'm taking my drink to go.
Visited at 9:30 am on a Sunday morning! Was not busy minus a few people sitting at tables outside. The barista was helpful with the menu. I ordered an Ode to My 90s. My boyfriend ordered the same, as well as a Pb Espresso. The Pb Espresso was pretty good but had a very light peanut butter flavor that I almost didn't notice. The Ode to My 90s was not my thing. It is not a sweet drink, and the barista explained the sweetness comes from the black sesame cream top as it mixes into the drink. I know some reviews raved about this drink, but I am pretty basic with what I like. I figured I would be adventurous, but ended up regretting it due to my own preferences. The actual cafe is cute inside, and we sat outside at a table to drink our coffees! Overall, it was a good experience, and I can't really dock points here since I should have known better than to stray from my basic latte order!
As everyone notes, this place is really small with not much seating which is unfortunate because a quality beverage should be savored and you'll be waiting for a minute before your beverage is ready. Very limited items in a pastry cabinet, the drinks are the star here. Very creative beverages. Seems like they regularly freshen up the menu with a good amount of seasonal options. The coffee was good but nothing that had me stopping in my tracks ( I got the peach perfect and they recommended hojicha but I asked for espresso, do with that information what you will). The coffee scene is growing in St. Pete seemingly every few months a new shop opens up I think you have to be a good all around cafe for me to really want to go more than once. I would bring a friend or stop by if I'm in the area but it hasn't become my new favorite spot. 7/10
Cute little place on Saturday morning it was hard to stand so many people waiting for drinks but worth it. Also a few tables outside on sidewalk. It is right next door to 11 Chicks. Drinks are well made, innovative and delicious! My daughter is picky on matcha but said this one was really good. Love that they explain the drink and how to best mix the layers of flavor!

Also wish that there was more space to sit--it is definitely more of a to-go cafe.
The matcha here is amazing! I got it iced with the lychee topping - delicious! Very small spot, definitely more of a grab & go place. Service was friendly but definitely busy so took some time to get my drink which was fine since I wasn't in a rush. Would love to come back to try their specialty drinks!
A cute little coffee shop. Lots of unique flavors and options. I got the cold brew with black sesame cold foam and it was delicious, not too sweet and well-balanced. I would note the coffee here is more on the pricey side, but worth it as a treat. Great service and I would definitely come again and try some other drinks.
It was a decent experience overall. The space is on the smaller side, but we didn't mind since we went on a weekday around 9 and walked right in with no wait. A good option if you want to avoid the crowds.
My favorite coffee spot in St Pete and it is Asian owned! Their drink selection is very unique and they incorporate many different flavors that stray away from your ordinary cup of joe and their servers are the most chill and friendly people you'll ever meet. I first tried this place in the summer and was thoroughly impressed with their signature Ode to My 90s drink- creamy and also savory with the bold black sesame flavor. I have since come back for their matcha as well as their rotating seasonal menu like the sticky mango rice... they all were hits between myself and the friends I've taken. I'm not closeby but will drive out for a nice refreshing drink from Daycation!
Daycation is one of the best matcha/coffee spots in Tampa in my opinion. Their limited menu is of quality and the vibe of the place gives that minimalistic chic. They put a lot of thought into the drinks which makes them so unique. That baristas and the owner were very nice. They explain their menu very well and even showed us how to drink it to get the full experience. 10/10 would go again! read more

I visited this coffee shop twice in the past and was dissatisfied/ didn't care for it so I left a 2 sentence review on google and she responded in a very disrespectful way and now is trying to get my reviews taken down. So i'm reposting again because this is what reviews are for, honesty. I have never seen an owner be this combative i came and supported and did not like it why can I not leave my honest review of my experience. UPDATE: My review didn't get disrespectful until you disrespected me. To respond in this way because i said i didn't like your coffee and didn't think it's worth it is actually delusional. I didn't leave one star for fun. I was so unsatisfied i couldn't even finish it. So TO ME it's not worth it so that's what I chose to write. Nowhere did i say anything bad about anything but the coffee and you find it necessary to then turn around to put me down. That's so embarrassing. My opinion still stands too, and i'm not posting it for you to agree or disagree i'm posting for other people that want to know what this business is about and i think this paints a perfect picture of what it taste like. And why would you think you deserve a better review just because i wasn't mistreated? I shouldn't be mistreated anywhere. That is bare minimum to treat customers with respect i was there for good coffee which i didn't get. UPDATE: can you read? You quite literally said "if you've finally realized that you're not adventurous" and that I should stick to my "comfort zone". How are you going to assume that of me and you don't know what I like or don't like? I didn't talk about you nor anybody that works there in any way. I said your coffee tastes like **** AFTER you wrote me an essay about my experience. Mind you i am grown and i'm spending my money i can say what i want!!! Like i said this is not for you i'm strictly critiquing the drinks. If you want to take that personally that is your own insecurities. You need to learn how to take constructive criticism you're acting like this is your first bad review. And I am going to respond as long as you keep responding. What a hidden gem! Daycation is in such a prime spot for foot traffic near Central Ave. The baristas are amazingly friendly--the place (from what I could tell) is female owned which I love. It's sort of a hole in the wall but their drink options are fantastic and their pastries are the size of my fist, so definitely coming back to try those. Coffee comes out in a timely manner and it's crazy fresh. Not too much seating available but folks don't seem to hang around long anyway. Just a good quick stop shop to get your caffeine fix. Honestly love this joint! read more

Not only is Daycation Coffee in St. Petersburg cute and calm, but they serve up some of the best matcha in town! You can tell they use ceremonial grade matcha, and though I know it's a travesty to mix in anything to ceremonial grade matcha, I ordered their Knot Oz seasonal drink today and it was out of this world! The pretzel-infused cream top and the rich, creamy matcha was a match made in Oz. What an absolute treat! Speaking of treats, I always eye their treat case and had to try their pumpkin cheesecake mini cupcake. The perfect bite-sized sweet treat for a Sunday! Overall, Daycation Coffee is always clean and comfortable, the team here truly takes pride on their craft (even providing tips on how to sip it to get the best of the creation), and I always leave wowed by the incredibly flavors. read more

What a unique coffee house! We enjoyed several beverages here and staff were friendly and helpful. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and people who walked by with their dogs. I ordered an iced matcha, miso bacon scone, ode to my 90s, and a cappuccino with an extra shot. All drinks were made quickly and served in glassware/earthen ware. They were beautiful! The scone was extremely tasty and had great flavor. Recommend giving this place a try and get something unique and out of your comfort zone. You won't regret it! read more

I typically order lattes so it was a bit strong for me, and not very sweet, but it had a unique savory sesame flavor that was really delicious! The baristas were friendly and helpful, and service was pretty quick. There's not a lot of seating inside but there is outdoor seating as well. Overall a unique and lovely place and I will be back to try more! read more
Daycation Coffee is a great spot to pick up some matcha or coffee in St Pete! I was in town for an event and local expert, Sky, took us here to caffeinate before a long day. Daycation was the best start to this day! A small spot, they have such quality coffee and matcha and their menu had some amazing seasonal options! We don't have many Asian-style or inspired coffee spots in South FL so this was such a nice change of pace. I got the mango moon with matcha and it was topped with housemade coconut rice cream and mango puree. This was quite possibly one of the best matcha specialty drinks I've ever tried! I'm surprised that mango and matcha isn't something that is trending right now but when it does start trending, know that Daycation did it right! The staff was friendly and our drinks came out fast- what more can you ask for from a coffee spot? The space itself is very small so keep that in mind if you're coming and wanting to grab a seat or work from here. I can't wait to come back to Daycation my next visit to St Pete! read more

I had been wanting to visit this spot for such a long time now, so I'm glad I finally got the chance to! I ended up getting the Fairy Blush drink. The creme on top was light but still flavorful, giving a hint of strawberries. The hojicha was robust and earthy, and really gave a caffeinated kick. I'd love to go again if I get the chance! read more

Cute small shop in St Pete. This is more of a grab and go place. There are a few seats but really not meant to be sitting. The line is so long that they get up into your personal space while you're sitting. No bathroom. read more
Excellent coffee. The coffee itself and the wonderful creations they cook up with it. Some of the drinks almost feel like what a skilled mixologist would make at a bar but instead of liquor it's espresso. My drink, the "ode to my 90s", had black sesame foam and dates on top and wow it was good. The drinks are expensive but you gotta love to see this kind of creativity and attention to quality. Baristas were friendly enough and drink came out quick. Great spot! read more

Definitely a top tier hole in the wall coffee shop located in Saint Petersburg. I would definitely come again however there is limited seating space so I would come early and grab a coffee and sit outside for a book reading or something. the service is super nice. Everybody is very patient with Customer ordering, just because there's a lot of delectable seasonal items on the menu. read more
Unseemingly from the outside you would never imagine the flavors they offer for their curated drinks. Just from the two drinks we ordered we knew that they definitely thought out their drink based on how balanced it was. The fairy blush was a surprise because the fresh flavor of the strawberry and lychee complimented the roasty hojicha so well. Although the space is limited, the service was quick. Definitely a spot to try out if you a cafe experience that is next level. read more

I went with the fairy blush which was hojicha tea sweetened with jasmine syrup which included a strawberry and lychee foam on top, and boy I never would have imagined that combination to go so well. There's the slight tartness from the strawberry which balances everything out and I love that the sweetness was well controlled. I wish I lived closer here but I will keep coming back when in town! read more
This truly is a gem. Small little Japanese coffee shop located in the heart of St. Pete. They have delicious offerings. I was looking for the perfect Matcha latte and this one was excellent. Very sweet and friendly attendants. They also have delicious Japanese pastries. A must if in the area! read more

Stopped by while I was visiting. Couldn't include photos of my drinks because I literally inhaled it. As a barista, I have become a coffee snob and this spot definitely passed the test. I tried the black sesame drink and that was fire. Will definitely be back when I'm visiting again! read more

Best coffee in Tampa bay. Reminds me of Japan and i don't just mean the cool little coffee shop I'm talking the whole thing from super nice workers to the coffee itself. They always ask if you want for here or to go and have super cool for here cups. You can just tell they really care. Honestly only comparable cups of coffee to this spot is one place in NYC and then Japan. Flavor of the coffee is 10/10. read more
Absolutely obsessed with Daycation Coffee in St. Pete! This adorable new spot is giving Frenchie-vibes--and for good reason. The entire vibe is inspired by the owner's actual French Bulldog named Dango (yes, he's as cute as he sounds--go check out their Instagram immediately ). Their menu is full of fun and creative drinks (hello, rose-infused red bean purée latte?!) but today I kept it classic with my go-to: an oat milk latte with brown sugar syrup. And as expected... it slapped. So smooth, so good, 10/10 would order again. The space itself is cozy and aesthetically perfect--a little hidden gem tucked just off Central. It's not really a bring-your-laptop-and-work-all-day vibe, but it's perfect for catching up with a friend or grabbing a drink to-go while strolling downtown. The owner was actually there (I totally recognized her from IG!) and she made my drink--super sweet and clearly passionate about her craft. If you're a coffee lover or just in need of a cute little moment in your day, Daycation Coffee is a must. Already planning my next visit! read more
This was some of the best coffee I've ever had, definitely in my top 3 of all time and one of my favorite flavored coffees in St. Pete! I got the Ode to my 90's and an unsweet cappuccino. I don't know how to describe WHY the cappuccino was better than others that I'd had, other than that the coffee taste was exceptional. It wasn't bitter, but it still had a prominent coffee taste. The Ode to my 90's was REMARKABLE. The cold foam was so unique, and I'm not really a cold coffee drinker at all. I loved it. It was just sweet enough and I really enjoyed it. The owner is super friendly as is the rest of the staff. It's women-owned, whichi we looovee (happy Women's History Month!) It's a super small space, so don't expect to lounge around, plus there's no bathroom so more of a grab and go situation. Regardless, highly recommend! read more
