I do wish the strawberry rhubarb seasonal syrup had a stronger flavor, but it was very tasty still! I also tried a sourdough bagel and was pleasantly surprised that it has that true sourdough flavor! I have driven by this place for well over a year and thought I really wanna try that place and I've mentioned it to several people. What a mistake. It's got a great location on an artsy street in St Pete across from the lake and the park, and it's in an old building so you think it's gonna be very cool. INSIDE it's small rundown. The staff is not accommodating and when we were sitting at a communal table, there were four of us, still eating, one of the people that work there sprayed some kind of chemical to clean off the other side of the table that went all over her food. The food was subpar not at all interesting I do not understand why people even go to this place or how they stay open. So many better places to go eat. Don't waste your money, don't waste your time if you want coffee walk over to Foxtail. It's a block away or so maybe a block and a half. They don't have all the food at Frank's, but they have fabulous service, a clean, welcoming place, and much much much better coffee. read more

Stopped here for brunch on Sunday as we were in the area for a farmers market! Cute little café, nestled in a neighborhood area. We ordered two lattes, both came out iced, but one was originally supposed to be a hot latte, but didn't wanna correct as I also like ice lattes. They were pretty good although one of them was supposed to be the Biscoff latte, but it just tasted like a regular latte. Then we had the vada grande sandwich, which was pretty good! I wish they would've cut it in half as it was pretty large. Then we had the picadillo breakfast burrito, which was a pretty good size, but the meat was heavily seasoned, and we could taste with taco seasoning. This is in a nice location that looks out to Crescent Lake. It's not impossible to find parking, but it can be a headache if it's busy. The place is small and standing room/seating is limited (that being said the park is right there so you could grab and go). The decor is nice, boho chic, open, and airy. The line didn't take long to move, but the food and beverages took forever to come out. Prices are a little high but not outrageous. The quality is good but not mind-blowing. My coffee was tasty and my pastry was a decent size with good flavor. This place isn't the best or the worst. 7/10 read more

Stopped by Flatbread & Butter and we were genuinely impressed. We tried the iced Strawberry Bloom Matcha and the Biscoff Latte. Both were flavorful, unique, and not overly sweet. Also ordered the açaí bowl and avocado toast which both tasted super fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with texture and flavor. Nice place to come and work. Lots of seating. Parking was easy that early morning on the street. I loved the pastry I got which was some sort of pop tart looking pastry, it was delicious! I did really like that before 830 they offered a 30% discount which incentivized me to buy the pastry. They have your typical coffee menu for options and had a unique food menu. I'd probably suggest coming here for food over coffee I didn't love the coffee and the staff didn't seem like they had, had there coffee yet. read more

The Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza is probs my favorite pizza I've had in St. Pete!!! I'm not gonna kid myself- I ate the whole thing in one sitting. Got the vegan burrito on a plate without the shell. It was under seasoned but tasty. Potatoes and hummus were standout components. Avocado toast was fine; nothing super special. What was special was the lemon olive oil polenta cake- wow!! So unique and a delicious bite. Chocolate chip cookie was also yummy. Finally, we got an açaí bowl and was also good; bonus that it was served in a metal bowl to keep it cold. The place is just adorable and service was excellent. The server was super sweet and I had my dog out on the patio and she offered to bring her some water. VEGAN/ PLANT BASED REVIEW: I discovered this restaurant while searching for places that would be accommodating to my mom and I. I'm vegan and she's not so finding a place where we could both enjoy the food was very important. DINE IN EXPERIENCE: Service is relatively quick and the wait time is an average 10-20 minutes. Food is made to order. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. If memory serves me correctly there's less than 10 tables inside and 2-3 tables outside. Self seating. PICK UP EXPERIENCE: If you order online, pickup is simple. Give them your name when you arrive and they'll grab it for you. The longest I've waited for food is 30-40 minutes. For some reason, the vegan margherita pizza wasn't on their website so I've also called in my order and paid on arrival. If you're vegan, MAKE SURE you reiterate that you want the vegan option. On one of my pickups they gave me the regular margherita pizza. They graciously offered to make it right by fixing the vegan option for me but I did have to wait longer for it since food is made to order. FOOD QUALITY: The food that I've gotten from here has been consistent in quality. You know what you're going to get every time you visit. PARKING: Parking is available in the back and to the side of the building as well as on the street. The parking in the historic neighborhood can be a little narrow at times too so keep that in mind. We had: Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza (Cashew ricotta, Buffalo sauce, roasted cauliflower, arugula, red onions, cashew ranch); and Supreme Pizza (San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, turkey bacon, roasted green peppers, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms). My only gripe was that my pizza was a little overcooked. The crust was crunchy and chewy, had a good amount of toppings, and the sauce was bright and savory. The shop is super cute and the tiling on the main table reminds me of my parents' bathroom growing up. I'm taking a chance posting publicly about a place I feel is my secret spot, but the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza here is easily the best pizza in the area, and it's coming from this unassuming building next to a pretty park, tucked back in a leafy neighborhood. The pizza falls somewhere between New York (mainly in the flavor of the sauce and cheese) and Neapolitan (the most wonderfully light crust). I know they make their dough fresh in the back throughout the day, and steep their own hot honey. I wish I could tell you about the other pizzas but I haven't been able to get off this one variety.
