Vada Grande
Summerlin D.

Stopped here for brunch on Sunday as we were in the area for a farmers market! Cute little café, nestled in a neighborhood area. We ordered two lattes, both came out iced, but one was originally supposed to be a hot latte, but didn't wanna correct as I also like ice lattes. They were pretty good although one of them was supposed to be the Biscoff latte, but it just tasted like a regular latte. Then we had the vada grande sandwich, which was pretty good! I wish they would've cut it in half as it was pretty large. Then we had the picadillo breakfast burrito, which was a pretty good size, but the meat was heavily seasoned, and we could taste with taco seasoning. All of the servers were super nice and the inside was very vibey !

This is a beautiful space. I would definitely do work or bring a date here. Super cute. A lot of tables and different places to sit inside or outside. Coffee was good! The shop is in front of a big park. There are parking spots around the park or there is free street parking within 2-3 blocks from the shop. So parking isn't really that difficult. Theres not too many spaces DIRECTLY in front, but its easy enough.

This is in a nice location that looks out to Crescent Lake. It's not impossible to find parking, but it can be a headache if it's busy. The place is small and standing room/seating is limited (that being said the park is right there so you could grab and go). The decor is nice, boho chic, open, and airy. The line didn't take long to move, but the food and beverages took forever to come out. Prices are a little high but not outrageous. The quality is good but not mind-blowing. My coffee was tasty and my pastry was a decent size with good flavor. This place isn't the best or the worst. 7/10

Can't believe I didn't come here sooner... already planning my next visit. The strawberry matcha latte was so good, I grabbed a second one to go for my boyfriend. I had the avocado toast and it was amazing, definitely ordering it again (I'm a creature of habit, but it's worth it). The pastry case was full of things that caught my eye, especially the brown butter blueberry muffin, which I'm coming back for. The vibe is super cute and cozy, and the location is perfect. Service was great too. I stopped by during my lunch break to relax and get a little work done, such a nice spot for that!

Simple, cute, and tasty... This is what it's about... a coffee shop with a brand and a philosophy. First off the coffee was amazing you can taste the passion and attention to detail... They use quality syrups are made with actual sugar, and the coffee is roasted in house... these people care we met the owner who greeted us with laughter and kindness then gave us a quick rundown of his business... he's the kind of owner you love to meet, down to earth, knowledgable, attentive. You can tell he enjoys what he does.... I got the double mocha java blended with a shot and it was ! Just like a chocolate, coffee milkshake in a hot day. Drank it too fast to capture a pic but imagine it then go get it lol Service was great prices were fair. I highly recommend this place!

First time eating at Flatbread & Butter's St. Pete location! I got the chicken salad melt, and it was really awesome. They asked if I'd rather do a bagel or upcharge for sourdough, and I chose the sourdough. I loved the bread, and the chicken salad was delicious - it also had tomato and cheese. Would definitely order again! Love this area too, such a relaxing place to walk around before or after grabbing a coffee and food.

Stopped by Flatbread & Butter and we were genuinely impressed. We tried the iced Strawberry Bloom Matcha and the Biscoff Latte. Both were flavorful, unique, and not overly sweet. The matcha had a lovely floral balance, and the latte was creamy with that perfect hint of cookie flavor. Also ordered the açaí bowl and avocado toast which both tasted super fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with texture and flavor. We instantly fell in love with the açai so we made the trip back in the same week just to have the açai again!! the staff were helpful, welcoming, and patient while we browsed the menu.

Nice place to come and work. Lots of seating. Parking was easy that early morning on the street. I loved the pastry I got which was some sort of pop tart looking pastry, it was delicious! I did really like that before 830 they offered a 30% discount which incentivized me to buy the pastry. They have your typical coffee menu for options and had a unique food menu. I'd probably suggest coming here for food over coffee I didn't love the coffee and the staff didn't seem like they had, had there coffee yet.

The Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza is probs my favorite pizza I've had in St. Pete!!! I'm not gonna kid myself- I ate the whole thing in one sitting. The jalapeños were so fresh, the dough and crust were the perfect medium consistency and the pepperoni was salty and spicy- yum!!! But of course, the hot honey was ridiculously good. Also loved the atmosphere of the place, it is very lowkey and laid back- with an artsy flare. I loved how it's situated in a neighborhood and by the park- so cute. Great service too.

Popped across the street from our Airbnb for a couple to go sandwiches and a latte. The breakfast sandwiches were stellar and came out very quick. The iced latte with the fig hazelnut syrup (all their syrups are made in house) was delicious. The staff were friendly and the space is super cute.

Stopped in for some coffee and small bites. I had just had a regular drip hot coffee; the coffee was solid. Girlfriends got several different lattes and everyone said they were good. Got the vegan burrito on a plate without the shell. It was under seasoned but tasty. Potatoes and hummus were standout components. Avocado toast was fine; nothing super special. What was special was the lemon olive oil polenta cake- wow!! So unique and a delicious bite. Chocolate chip cookie was also yummy. Finally, we got an açaí bowl and was also good; bonus that it was served in a metal bowl to keep it cold. The place is just adorable and service was excellent. Definitely intend to return for coffee and polenta cake, and looking forward to trying some other menu items.

This place is so cute! And the food was so delicious. I would love to have ordered everything on the menu. The server was super sweet and I had my dog out on the patio and she offered to bring her some water. It's right across the street from the park so after we ate, we walked around the park and it just made for a really nice morning. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Great experience with a twist!…read more Food 8.0 Vibe 8.9 Service 8.7 Overall 8.4 This place definitely has his own theme and vibe and it sticks to it. A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.

The Wooden Rooster: Where My Morning Got Its Life Together Before I Did…read more Listen... I came here expecting "just a crepe." What I got was a full-on personality upgrade. First off--the vibe. Somehow it's better than Kraft (yeah I said it), but like... calmer, cooler, and not screaming at you before coffee. It's peaceful, shady, low-noise... the kind of place where you feel like you should start journaling or making better life decisions. Now let's talk food. I ordered The B.E.A.S.T. and I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing deserves its own documentary. Bacon. Pesto. Sun-dried tomatoes. Eggs. It was like every breakfast all-star showed up and said, "Let's absolutely dominate this guy's morning." Perfect balance. Crispy, creamy, savory... I took one bite and immediately forgave myself for everything I've ever done wrong. And honestly? This is a WAY better place to start your morning than the bagel place down the street. You know the one. We've all settled for it. We don't have to live like that anymore. Also--huge shoutout to the service. These people were so nice I almost asked if they wanted to come manage my personal life too. Fast, friendly, and somehow still chill. Bonus points for the menu because where else can you go from a Nutty Joe dessert crepe to a Cubano crepe to a PB&J throwback without anyone questioning your life choices? Final verdict: If you're in downtown St. Pete and not coming here, you're making your mornings unnecessarily harder than they need to be. Wooden Rooster didn't just feed me-- it emotionally supported me.
