Cozy little place with good hospitality. We wanted to grab some breakfast before heading back home and stopped into this little location before we left. When we got there, it was a seat yourself situation and after about five minutes or so a server came over and took our drink order and asked if we had any questions. The menu is a combo with both breakfast and brunch style options. They do close around 3 PM so they very much are catering to the morning/early afternoon audience. I wanted to try the chicken salad sandwich, but unfortunately, they were out of it so I chose the avocado toast as my backup. The bread was really soft and really delicious and the arugula with the cherry tomatoes and balsamic was really well balanced. The bread is Cuban bread so you definitely get that little crunch on it as well. My husband got the French toast again, made with Cuban bread, but he said it was really good. It wasn't too dense. The bacon was good, but it is tiny as he's used to eating thick cut bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Parking is a little tight because it's located behind the location and is shared with the condos that are above the business so be prepared for that. read more

Honestly, it seemed nice. 14.95 for potatoes that were from frozen, the bacon was burnt, and my toast was half a dang French loaf.. like wth?The eggs were eggs. The burrito my husband got had more of the frozen potatoes and link sausage in it. For a place that's trying to look fun and yummy, it really is sorely lacking in simple cooking techniques. Great cafe for breakfast with interesting choices. Cute decor and Corey was a friendly and attentive server. Omelettes were very good with choice of cheese and selection of toppings. Home fries were disappointing- starchy, limp, and minimal seasoning. Sausage patties were tasty and bacon had a good flavor but was cold and very greasy/not drained of grease (congealed grease on the plate). The star was the Cuban breakfast sandwich which was amazing and highly recommended. Coffee is lavazza and extremely tasty. The mimosas were wonderful. My mom & I had a such lovely vacation brunch at Corner Kitchen! The menu had a broad selection of breakfast plates, sandwiches, and smoothies - something for everyone. I opted for the Burrito Z, which was packed with veggies & eggs and served fresh off the grill with an awesome fresh fruit salad - much better than the typical melon assortment given by most breakfast restaurants. The coffee was strong and hot, and the service was so friendly and helpful. The shop is perfectly located by the beach, with free parking for customers! Hope to be back before we leave Madeira Beach. Was looking for a new cafe to visit in the area and saw this place on the map, just from the photos posted i knew i had to stop by. The most interesting item i saw was the speciality drink called the bumble bee. It was a layered drink with orange juice and espresso. The owner was passionate to explain the background of the drink and how he came across it which made me excited to try. It's definitely a unique flavor profile but i loved it. We also tried the tidal wave sandwich and our own scrambler bowl. Good portions and super filling, we absolutely devoured it. The inside is beautiful with dimmed lighting and pretty decor. We love to try coffee shops when we are in a new area. Corner Kitchen and Coffee House was a great find for our trip to "Mad Beach". We arrived at 1:30pm so no food for us this time around but what we saw others had ordered looked delicious! My hubby had a cortado - not on the menu but they were happy to oblige. He requested a shot of espresso and equal amounts of steamed half and half. I had a small latte no sweetener. Both drinks were delicious. Coffee was smooth and not bitter. Latte came out hot, hotter than others I'd had and so I was pleasantly surprised. So many times lattes are not as hot as I'd like. This was perfect! Delivered to our table. Such a chill location situated across from the beach on a corner. Great for people watching. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I found plenty of parking at 7am on a Monday morning. Weekends are likely a little busier. The team at Corner Kitchen welcomed me as if I were a local. It is nice to go anywhere where you can be new and not feel out of place. I ordered a carnitas omelet and an Americano. Before I thought to get a pic, my omelet was gone and I was satisfied. The size of the breakfast was perfect, not too large, and the flavors that came out of the small kitchen were tasty! Easy atmosphere inside, you get a peek at the ocean from all tables, and you will feel welcome as soon as you walk in! Not having signage to show where to park, and which way to entrance was one thing, but my husband and I walked in, one table had guests talking to a man standing (presumably/it appeared he was an employee), who looked at us, gave no greeting, and continue to talk while we stood there 5 mins at the counter, where no one was to help us. No signage to indicate whether we were to sit, wait to be seated, or order at the counter. A lady appeared in the background and looked over, but again no greeting or even a smile and we stayed about three more minutes and then walked out. Awful. Was so looking forward to eating here, but I will not return, and will let others know of my experience. Shame. I had read a lot about it, having just moved to the area and was really looking forward to it, but myself being a kind and helpful person, who for the life of me doesn't understand such a lack of consideration and friendliness, feels this place was not nice and basically rude in a silent way. read more
