We stopped by Cafe Soleil for breakfast on our first morning on the beach. It didn't take much convincing for me to go there. Everything looked and sounded amazing! The interior is bright, welcoming, and charming. I loved the European vibes. The staff were wonderful. We ordered the following: Salmon sandwich Vegetarian quiche Chocolate croissant Iced latte Iced americano The iced latte was for me and the iced americano for my husband. I really enjoyed my latte. The salmon sandwich and the quiche already came pre-sliced with two halves so it was easy for us to split. We each took a half. Both items were delicious and I highly recommend them, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the salmon sandwich. We took the croissant to go to enjoy later. This cafe is so cute! A good amount of seating (although it was very busy so seats filled up) even with some outdoor seating (not overlooking the water, though). Loved the tables inside near the window which overlooked the bay. Also, the wall art was very st Pete vibes. The service was so friendly, the women at the front were very kind and bubbly. Even though there was a long line, we got through quickly without feeling rushed. The matcha was super yummy! We got the bacon quiche and the bacon egg and cheese croissant, my only feedback is that we got our food to-go and they didn't put utensils in the bag and I didn't see any out; not the end of the world though. The bacon quiche was DELICIOUS and much bigger than expected, it also came with side salad or watermelon, and the watermelon was just what I needed. Cafe Soleil French bakery is a great little spot for a breakfast in St. Pete Beach. This spot was located in the back of a plaza just across from our hotel, a 5-minute walk. Cafe Soleil offers breakfast and lunch. Salads, quiches and simple sandwiches make up the lunch fare. Breakfast is toasted croissant sandwiches and pastries. My wife and I both had the egg, sausage and muenster on a croissant. Coffee to drink. Their pastry display is next level. Beautifully laid out and each item looking better than the next. My wife ordered the chocolate hazelnut plait and I had the apple turnover. Our food was out pretty quick. They serve Kahwa Coffee, a local roastery. The sandwiches were really good. Melty muenster cheese layered in with sausage crumbles and eggs. Cooked in a press, the croissant was thin, crispy and flaky with that buttery soft texture you would expect. Not too much food, just enough. A small slice of watermelon on the side for a sweet bite. The pastries were excellent. Freshly made, bursting with flavor. The Nutella like filling in the plait was ample and melded with the buttery, flaky dough. The turnover was filled with sweet, small apple chunks that were dusted with cinnamon. The staff behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming. They said hello and goodbye to everyone coming and going. We initially forgot to order my drip house coffee and when I mentioned I wanted one, it was offered on the house. They offered my daughter stickers and treated her like a star too. I had the Claude and it was so good, I ate it all! I usually take half of my meal home, but I could not stop eating. It was fresh mozzarella and salty prosciutto with arugula and pesto on a chewy french roll. So delicious. For dessert I had the cherry plait. Wonderful coffee spot!! We were staying a hotel on the beach that didn't have its own coffee spot so we took a walk (it's directly across from the main tradewinds). Friendly and fancy entrance with a covered patio. The minute you enter you're greeted by a nice bright space that feels cozy and welcoming. The fresh baked pastries all looked amazing; we tried the cronut and it was delicious, decadent and appropriately sized so you didn't leave feeling too guilty. They have a plethora of syrup/flavor options and use Kahwa coffee beens. All the prices and portions were fair and they have a great selection of croissant sandwiches, baguette sandwiches and homemade quiche. There is a lady constantly walking around cleaning tables and making sure everyone has what they need for a perfect morning. We noticed a mimosa menu and lots of couples and families enjoying a little Sunday treat. The shop overlooks the intracoastal waterway and has a great view. If you're a coconut fan, the iced coconut latte was great. read more

I visited Cafe Soleil today which is right on the water in a beautiful location. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the employees are from the second you walk in. I ordered a caramel iced latte and a chocolate hazelnut palet which is similar to a croissant. It was delicious, I highly recommend ordering this! The coffee was good too. A lovely St Pete Beach gem. Bakery-restaurant-shop all in one, you can pick up an inexpensive coffee or stay for lunch. I tried the Colette, a brie, tomato, pesto, and dried tomato sandwich served on an authentic baguette: delicious! Take a seat at the window and spend a peaceful moment escaping from the usual consumerism of nearby tourist hotspots. My service was sunny and pleased to help a newcomer. Be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends when it gets packed within 15 minutes of opening. Your best bet is to arrive right at opening or wait until the rush dies down. Either way, the line is absolutely worth it! While the coffee isn't the highlight, you come here for the stunning ocean views, incredible food, and some of the best fresh-baked pastries around. Came here with my adult son for coffee and brunch. Very busy this Saturday morning, saw many people with lanyards so there must've been a convention on the beach. My son had a a Nutella and banana on a croissant that he loved. I had a turkey sandwich but the bread but hard and ripped the roof of my mouth. So happy to see this is still in St Pete Beach. Lots of local establishments didn't survive the last hurricane. Their new location is larger, prettier, yet still holds on to the open, quaint feel of the original location. Old favorites like the Claude sandwich ( one of several options) and their delicious quiches haven't changed. Light, fluffy quiches with a flaky, delicate crust. Oh La La is our favorite of the options. Sample the delicious pastries and coffees. Kawah was the brand of coffee served when we visited recently (December, 2025). It's our "must visit" breakfast stop every trip to this area. read more

Wow, I love this place. The photos I've added don't do the place justice, but the interior is painted a bright white & overlooks the water. It is so lively and energetic inside. The windows are huge and give a beautiful picture-perfect view of the water & docked boats. There are always a few people on their laptops working inside, so it's a great place to camp out if you WFH or have a good book you want to catch up on. The service is amazing, and the employees are always super kind and efficient. I love the food-runner who always has a smile on his face and something nice to say. I will catch his name next time. I love everything about this place, but if you like *SWEET* coffee, you should say so. It's a traditional Cafe, so their coffee leans more bitter for that reason. I give their bacon, egg & brie croissant a 10/10 & their nutella, banana, & granola and 8/10. I wish it had more granola for crunch, and it was messy so that made it a bit of a challenge to enjoy. Overall, 10/10 experience and I've been back 7x already. Don't neglect their lunch menu, too!! Lots of great options here. read more

Wow wow wow. Best almond croissant I've ever had (and humble brag I'm clearly a yelp elite right?). The place was clean and lots of comfy seating. It was also on the water so plenty of views to hangout. Got an array of items here. Cappuccino. Bacon egg cheese croissant, almond pastry, creme brûlée donut and some mimosas. All were perfectly baked (I do prefer a little lighter baked). The staff especially the cashier was all smiles and very helpful and checking on guests even though the line was 13 people deep and practically out the door at all times. read more
