Sausage pizza

Holy freaking moly... best pizza I've ever had. The tomato sauce is so light yet so tasty. The crust has an amazing crunch and the sausage has so much flavor! Staff is always so friendly and we can't wait to come back!

Set up for a special event, eggplant parmigiana cooking class

This is a cute little Italian cafe near the beach. They have the most amazing pastry selection, many of which have been shipped in from Italy. They serve breakfast and lunch, opening at 8am. I walked up at 7:55 on a Tuesday off season and there was already a crowd gathered outside. For good reason. Their coffee, latte and espresso game are legit and the Italian cooks will not disappoint. I was lucky enough to experience a cooking class there. We made eggplant parmigiana from scratch. I shared it with family at home who said "bleh, we don't really like eggplant parmigiana". Yet they gobbled this up and wanted more. Thank you for being here for us, Casa del Pane!

This is the best little Authentic Italian Bakery, Coffee shop, brekkie/lunch Cafe with a Gourmet Italian foods & wine shop inside. The BEST ONE that I have ever seen in my life stateside. Better than ANY in New York City even. Def the most romantic. It's just like a Little Gourmet Italian Shop in Italy, that has the best selection of The freshest Italian foods, wines & coffee, all under one roof. They even have a cold cooler section of gourmet Italian "grab & go" prepared foods like Bolognese sauce, lasagna, meatballs, soups & pastas etc., & fabulous lobster ravioli! OuiOui. Last month when we were there we got the Lobster ravioli, brought it home & made it for dinner. It was so yummy. We take all kinds of foods home now, just like we do when we visit "Jimmy's" in Dallas, Texas. My other favorite Italian shop ststeside :).. Anyhoo, the Italian wine section here is small but also superb! Yes, we shop here for our "on the go grab & go" Gourmet Italian foods & wines. OuiOui. Right now they are having a summer wine Sale special. OuiOui. They also have "Italian sushi" lots of different fresh antipasti veggies available for appetizers, salads, paninis etc., The best part is they bake all their own Italian breads & pastry. They are ALL spectacular. The giant round boule is our fave & ALL the pastries are fabulous. The strawberry crema croissant is literally the best thing I have ever eaten. Hubby also says it's his #1 fave. We both also love the lemon ricotta one, the cinnamon roll, the almond crema croissant & the giant Ham & provolone stuffed plain croissant sammy. ALL of them are 2.die.4 :)... And, AND, they make the best cappuccinos/Double Cappuccinos. Pretty strong too. The single is just fine for moi. I don't think it will be safe for moi to do their double cappuccino haha. The staff is just wonderful humans, service is always so pleasant. Their outdoor dining in their little italiano gardens is so fabulous & very romantico. The tiny coffee bar inside is so much fun & the restrooms are always clean & smell nice. OuiOui. We adore everything about this Gorgeous Authentic Italiano, super unique & very romantic little Cafe. My only wish is they were open late. Added to moi list of Best Bakeries in America.. Best Italiano.. Best Coffee places.. And Most Romantic. Will return & Often. Highest Recommendations.

Cannolis -- YUM!
Amanda D.

Authentic Italian treats and delicious coffee! The cannolis were a bit pricey (at $5+ each) but brought me right back to time spent living in Florence. Was a nice treat to find on our St. Pete trip!

Terrific 5 star experience. Great Italian espresso and broccoli foccacia lunch, took grilled zuccs bach to the hotel to munch on. Nice Italian ambiance with communal seating table, many market imports and a great variety of eat in items. I will be returning with each trip to St. Pete. Sorry I missed them for so long! yum.

What a cute little Italian restaurant deli and market. Indoor and outdoor tables. Great service and excellent food!

I love La Casa Del Pane! I'm a morning beach person so I hit this place up for lunch after going to the beach. The large sandwiches are perfect for splitting and the pizzas are excellent. There is a pizza topped with arugula, which is my favorite. The pastry section looks absolutely incredible but I stay away from it! They also have bread that you can take home and a few antipasto items. There is also a small market with Italian made products for sale. Great spot in the beach that is not touristy!

Large speck, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and pesto on bread (Nov 1st)

First I'd like to say this place has the best Italian sandwiches in town, reminds me of growing up in NY. That said, in the last month, I've noticed a sizable difference in the sandwiches from the last 3 times I ordered from here. This first picture I'm including is the normal large size from earlier this month and the second is almost half the size and was the most recent order. Very disappointing because I love the authentic food here so much. I'm not sure if this is the new normal to cut down on costs but it's extremely frustrating to order a sandwich that has now been reduced to half the size for the same price. I'd rather they raise the price but keep the size the same. Anyone else notice this?

The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients and authentic, homemade items. The servers are quick and attentive. The cafe is such fun experience to any St. Pete trip! The inside is busy but such an enjoyable place to get breakfast or lunch - or both! This will definitely be added to our places to visit any time we vacation here now.

The decor was as expected for a sea side seafood place. The open patio was nice and cool and provided a nice view. The jambalaya was absolutely amazing. The rice was cooked perfectly, sausage had a kick, and the shrimp was also tender and well cooked. This dish had the perfect level of spice that most people could handle well. I shared the Grouper Bites but the Lobster and crab soup... that was all mine. All three of these dishes I would highly recommend.

From the outside, it doesn't immediately stand out. But once you make your way around back, the setting opens up to a waterfront view along the intracoastal that completely changes the experience. Sunset is the time to be here. Between the colors over the water and the occasional dolphin or manatee sighting, it's a setting that feels far more special than the location suggests. There's usually plenty of parking, though the entrance can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention. Look for the break in the divider when coming off the main road, otherwise you might drive right past it. The atmosphere leans lively but relaxed. They typically have live music in the evenings, which adds just the right amount of energy without overwhelming the space. Seating is flexible with both indoor and outdoor options, though on especially hot days, you'll want to be mindful of where you sit. The Florida sun can be intense, so a shaded table with a fan makes a big difference. Drinks are worth exploring here, especially since they tend to rotate specials. It's always a good idea to ask what's currently featured. The menu is rooted in New Orleans-style Creole cooking, and it shows. There's a wide range of seafood-heavy options, from po'boys and shrimp or scallop pastas to fried baskets, chowder, and fish and chips. The dirty rice and beignets round things out nicely if you're looking to branch beyond seafood. Prices run slightly above average, but the quality backs it up. Portions are solid, flavors are on point, and the overall experience makes it feel worth it. This is the kind of place locals keep in their rotation and bring visitors to when they want to show off something a little different. It's relaxed, scenic, and consistently delivers, which is exactly why it sticks with you after the first visit.

They have a pretty extensive menu of options, but our go to is the fried grouper sandwich with American cheese and no lettuce or tomato. Our other go to is the lobster roll. Now this go around we did notice the lobster was more shredded than it was chunks which is what we've seen previously so that was a bit of a change, but overall, it was still good. We've had the onion rings before but this go round we decided to share a side of french fries and we did ask for them crispy. They were perfect. Be prepared to wait though as this location is super small and if you come during a busy season or around that lunchtime period you're most likely going to have to wait. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. But, one thing we did notice is that you can walk up and order to go. That's a great option to have and something we may take advantage of in the future.

When the host came out, she stated that she needed to "clear the area." While we understand the need to manage space, the request was directed at us and was delivered in an unpleasant, dismissive tone. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

SOLID 5 STARS! My…read moreniece, Laura, and her partner, Rich, are visiting from Chicago. She wanted a restaurant with outdoor seating, a view of the water, an excellent wine list, fine dining selections, AND open on a Monday night. I cried for Help from Yelp. 82 Degrees nailed all 5 criteria. At 6:15pm We were able to make an on-line reservation for three people for 6:30pm. Be careful to only park in spots designated for the restaurant or you will be towed. You can't miss the parking signs because they are plastered on every parking spot. We arrived and were immediately shown to a choice rooftop table just in time to enjoy a fine view of the sunset on the Gulf. After the sun set the bartender asked the diners at the dozen or so tables if they wanted the huge glass windows closed, and since it was starting to get chilly everyone agreed. My niece is very knowledgeable about wine, so she took charge of the wine list. After discussing the (Admittedly small, but well selected) list with the sommelier Laura chose the Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon, a well-regarded, bold red wine from Paso Robles, California (4.8 Stars rating, I looked it up). She must have liked it, because she drank two glasses. Later on, she ordered a Pinot Grigio to go with her entree but I've forgotten the name. She also chose specialty drinks for Rich and I that were tasty and had a nice kick to them, but I don't remember their names either. I would have taken a picture of the drinks menu but my niece wouldn't let go of the list! (Which also meant we couldn't see the prices either, but like the saying goes: If you have to ask, you can't afford it!) It took us a while to study the menu. Just like the wine list, the menu has limited selections but offers excellent choices. It was hard to make a decision! We started off sharing Crab Cakes ($18) and Lobster Bruschetta ($21) appetizers, and we also shared an order of the Lobster Bisque ($15). All three of us agreed that the appetizers were yummy, but the Lobster Bisque was worth the trip all by itself! For my entree I ordered the Wild Caught Snapper with mango pineapple salsa and broccolini ($36) and Truffle Fries ($9). Rich went with the Grouper BLT ($26) and Laura chose the Parmesan Cream Pasta ($26) (Which was why she needed a white wine to go with her entree). Portions did not appear to be large, yet none of us were able to finish our entrees, leaving plenty for Rich and Laura to take home in biodegradable containers for a midnight snack. I'm sorry I wasn't quick enough to get pictures of the entrees. Rich and Laura are not used to snapping pics before digging in, but I can tell you they were all well presented. Even though we were all full, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of: SALTED CARAMEL BUTTERFINGER CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE!!! ($12). Just the name tells you everything you need to know. While Rich and I were dueling with our forks, Laura swooped in and ate most of the dessert, which is totally unfair but is a legitimate female perk so there was nothing we could do. Next time we'll order more than one slice! Our perky waitress was extremely busy serving everyone but managed to keep the entire restaurant happy with her service. I don't think I saw her standing still for more than a couple seconds. Didn't get her name, either, but I'm sure the excellent tip told her we were pleased.

Our server was so nice. We were a party of 9, very large group and she did a great job. For being voted best breakfast in St Pete Beach I felt like the menu was somewhat limited. The menu does not state they have specialty coffee but when I ask, they did so that was a great surprise. I got eggs Benedict. It was very tasty. The grits were very good too. All in all, I think it was a good experience, giving it a four star only because of how stressed and curt the manager was with our group initially. If I could give them a 4 1/2 stars I would.

Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.
