Not worth the wait. They have old food, bad coffee and bad service. I will not be going back

Ordered an ice oat milk Carmel macchiato based on server recommendations. Fantastic and better than the typical chain ones!

Upon entering I was greeted by one of the most warmest faces I saw all day named GIgi. Later to find that Gigi was the manager and the baker of the Driftwood. We exchanged pleasantries and she introduced me to her staff one of the time. First was Antonio a young gentleman with knowledge of the Kava in Kratom. There was Savannah who was the master roster that was well educated on all of the organic coffee beans that she would roast in 5 pound increments. She gave me a small tour of the process of how driftwood roast their coffee to perfection. Forgive me for not remembering the other barista but she had decent knowledge of the tees. I can best describe her by her having a Harley Quinn tattoo on her arm. For the 15 minutes I was there I ordered a strawberry shortcake cheesecake, Kratom to go for a family member, well I enjoyed one of the best double espresso's that I've had since my father had his coffee company in Atlantic City. They shared with me the camaraderie amongst the guests and on Sunday and Monday were the nights to come as there was game night and karaoke I believe on Sunday which I'm looking forward to going to! As much as I hate talking about it, Driftwood Roastery is extremely Covid careful. The restaurant and bar area are super clean and sanitary. All employees had masks. All of the uniforms were impeccable and each of their individual personalities was contagious as I was brought into each conversation. Gigi thank you for the Death By Chocolate! I need it 32 ounces of milk to wash it down! Bravo ladies!

I really liked that their syrups are homemade and the menu leans healthy, which you don't always find at beach spots. We ordered two coastal specialty coffees with oat milk, the Snowy Egret and the Stingray, plus the Bull Shark smoothie. The Snowy Egret was very milky with a hint of vanilla and coconut, with the espresso coming through subtly. The Stingray had a stronger espresso flavor, which I liked, but it was still pretty milky with less banana and maple notes than expected. The Bull Shark smoothie was flavorful, you can definitely taste the dates, but I wish it was a bit colder. The girls were very sweet and really represented the vibe of the store well! It's a quick grab-and-go spot. There is one small two-seater inside and two picnic benches out front if you want to hang out. It was not busy on a Thursday around 12pm. Parking is limited and requires going through the drive-thru to access a small rear lot with approximately 4-5 spaces available. It is a little pricey for a drink, but still a cute beach stop. I'd come back!

Fruit Float Cafe was started about 3 years ago with a girl on a boat and now has expanded to a brick and mortar cafe and 3 boats! I loved my fresh cut watermelon served up with a flower. You can also get pineapples and coconut water from the actual fruit from the boats and the cafe has smoothies, açaí bowls, fruit bowls and fun trinkets and boutique clothes for sale. The outside is colorful and funky with surfboards as picnic tables. Everything is bright, healthy, delicious, and fun! Makes me want to give up the rat race and start my own fruity venture. :)

The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. I would 100% come back again!!
