After endless trips to the IRB location, it was finally time to try out the St Pete location, and it did not disappoint. Mind you this location lacks the same menu for food, but the ambiance and gift shop lack nothing. I got my go to coffee-- toasted coconut, and it was perfect as usual. I loved walking around the shop, snapping pics, and checking out their gift items. I wish they would add a full menu like the IRB location; however, it is still one of the best coffee shops arounds. read more

The store has two entrances which works out very well as we parked in the back and didn't have to go all the way around to front door! Once you walk in you can see that there is a store along with the coffee bar. I ended up getting two things from the store. My coffee order here was the honey cinnamon latte however it wasn't my favorite. I think next time I will order something different as I like it to taste a little more sweet. Also got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant which was decent. Staff is very friendly and there was ample space for standing however didn't see much seating for peak times. Overall, I thought this was a cute spot but will definitely try a different coffee order next time! read more

Cool coffee shop on the way to the beach. It was nice that they carried men's clothes too, with hats, bathing suits, and accessories. They had a few tables inside and out if you choose to dine in. I visited here twice and my drink was dreamyyyy both times! I really love the idea of having a boutique with a coffee shop together in one. The boutique side has a lot of options and really cute styles. The staff was very friendly both times I was there and my drink came out perfect both times. I ordered the coconut latte and was 10/10. Parking was a bit difficult because there is no traditional parking lot out front. I also went to purchase a hair clip...a regular plastic hair clip and it was $12. The accessories were extremely expensive so that sort of threw me off. read more

The ratio from espresso to milk was perfect but probably wanted a bit more milk. The mocha was great. And was smooth and sweet. The smooth flavor of banana was perfect, not too sweet though. The salted caramel latte tasted natural not to much not to little. The orange vanilla latte was good, with a good aftertaste, maybe a bit sweeter. The toasted coconut latte was perfect with chewy crunchy bits of coconut. There was a bathroom, but I wasn't able to look into it but it looked fine. The decor around the counter was very fun and the pictures on the wall fit perfectly. The surf part of the restaurant brings out an interesting pop of fun. I wish the outside decor was a bit better. I wish the cups were decorated. And maybe a bit less ice. All around good. But needs some small improvements. I'd say that the cofre was worth the price. read more

The vibe is chill with the familiar and unique drink offerings. It is a good place to sit and relax, or even get some work done. We dropped by twice during our visit to the St Pete's area. I highly recommend everyone to check out Grove Surf + Coffee if they are in the St Pete Beach area! The location is at the northern strip of the restaurants and shops. The ambiance is super cute and beachy. Half of it is a cafe with tables for work, and the other half is merch and beach items. I ordered the vanilla orange latte, and my sister got the toasted coconut one. Both were super good and unique. I love cafes with different varieties to switch it up from the classic vanilla iced latte. I also got the crumble cake to nibble on. It was very tasty! The service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again to try something new in the bakery section. The pop tarts looked really good too! This may be the first place I've been where they recommended I order coffee as they closed. Here's what happened: I arrived and was immediately drawn to the apparel. Cool shorts, delightful T-shirts. As I was wrapping up and heading to coffee, I was sucked into a conversation with one those delightful humans that have never met a stranger. But when we finished, it was 4:59. And I didn't want to be THAT GUY. So I headed to pay for my merchandise and the cashier asked if I wanted a coffee. I said that I would have loved one, but I didn't want to be that gu.... And I was cut off as she yelled across the store, "yo, is the espresso machine closed?" to which the crew happily responded, "nope, we save that for last!" Stopped by here to grab some breakfast and coffee quick before hitting the beach. This shop is super cute. Staff is super nice. They have a large store to shop at with a ton of cute clothes with a small coffee shop in the back. Unfortunately they didn't have a ton of food except for in a case. I should have checked that before coming here so that was my fault. I got the cheese and ham croissant which came warmed up. It was decent... there was only 1 small piece of ham in the middle so I wouldn't get that again. Don't come here if you are looking for food lol. Overall super cute coffee shop. read more

This was our go to coffee daily while on vacation. They had some fun flavor combinations. My kiddo loved the banana matcha, and I had added the orange and vanilla flavors to my cold brew instead of ordering the latte. My husband tried the nitro with banana and tried it again with double the flavor, but sadly it wasn't good that way. I think if he'd have added a milk it would have helped. Plenty of seating to drink your coffee and hang out or to grab a table to do some work. When we ordered, there was a pretty decent line but the wait was not long at all. As we waited for our coffee, we just shopped the store. I got the strawberry matcha latte and it was so refreshing to drink a light, cold drink. They also have a good amount of food/pastry items that include some vegan/gluten free options. The croissant was good but wished there was more ham than what seemed to be one rolled up piece inside. Orders did take long but they were really busy and let everyone know before they ordered that it might take more time than usual. I thought that was great customer service personally. I just explored the shop for the 20 minutes it took to get my gingerbread latte. Plenty of cute options throughout the store. I really did enjoy my gingerbread latte but definitely would have liked other drinks more. Didn't taste very much like gingerbread but the coffee was still enjoyable. This cafe is 50% coffee shop, 50% surf shop, and 100% adorable! The shop had everything from flip flops to keychains and big-name surf brands like O'neill and Roxy. The cafe has a really great rotating menu of seasonal drinks and pastries, and everything I tried was delicious - I especially loved that they served my drink in a Christmas glass since it was the holiday season! Touches like that really make you want to keep going back to see what's new. If I lived closer to this area, I'd be here all the time for some iced coffee, a pastry, and a nice half hour with a good book. read more
