I loved this place! The coffee shop itself is gorgeous, has a great menu and my salted caramel latte was perfect. The store portion was also great, so many cute things to look at, I wanted to buy everything! On top of that, the employees were so kind, helpful and attentive. I'm excited for my next visit!
I stopped by after watching the sunrise for breakfast with a friend. I love the beachy decor here and it was so fun to look around the surf shop. We split a blueberry muffin, which had a nice lemon flavor to it. The staff was super friendly and we opted to sit inside at one of their tables. This spot is so close to the beach, so you could also take your coffee to go and enjoy it by the ocean.
Cute spot right up the street from the hotel I was staying at. It was Memorial day so it was a little busy, but not a long wait. The store is also a surf shop so there's a lot to look at if you're waiting for your order to be called. The baked goods caught my eye so I ordered the chocolate chip cookie with flaky salt, ham & cheese croissant, & an iced honey cinnamon latte. The baked goods were my favorite. The latte was nice but didn't taste much honey. Otherwise, it was overall a great coffee shop.
The store has two entrances which works out very well as we parked in the back and didn't have to go all the way around to front door! Once you walk in you can see that there is a store along with the coffee bar. I ended up getting two things from the store. My coffee order here was the honey cinnamon latte however it wasn't my favorite. I think next time I will order something different as I like it to taste a little more sweet. Also got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant which was decent. Staff is very friendly and there was ample space for standing however didn't see much seating for peak times. Overall, I thought this was a cute spot but will definitely try a different coffee order next time!
We came for the highly reviewed iced coffees, but immediately upon walking in we were so pleasantly surprised. Absolutely packed!! The longest line of people weaving in and out of the cutest trendy clothes. Everyone was chill and happy and just excited for a delicious coffee or pastry. They have a huge selection of good quality clothing for men, women, teens and kids with plenty of cute accessories and kids books too. The line moved quickly and everyone at the coffee counter was so friendly and knowledgeable. I went with the toasted coconut iced latte and it was 10/10. My fiance had the traditional brewed coffee and was also pleased. If you're looking for a great iced coffee, to get out of the sun for a bit or look for some fun clothes this is your place. The back wall has a bunch of Grove specific and creative t shirts too if you love love love it here. "Sunshine and iced lattes". We will be back only everytime we are nearby!
Want a coffee shop with good vibes? Make it part surf shop! My sister likes to stop in here on early morning beach days and I can definitely see why. They have a great variety of coffee and pastries plus some really cool beach stuff to browse while you wait for your drink. It was a tough decision, but I ultimately went with key lime pie muffin and oat milk chai both of which were very good! My sister ordered the banana bread though and I have to say, that was the winner.
Grove surf coffee was the cutest coffee shop & retail 2 in 1! I ordered an iced salted caramel latte, chocolate banana bread, and a spinach feta croissant thing. It's been 2 weeks since I've been here, and I'm still dreaming about the chocolate chip banana bread! It was the best thing I've ever tasted. I wish I could travel in time & grab another one to go! The coffee was amazing as well.
Such a nice coffee shop. Very welcoming & cute inside. They also have a store connected to it with different items to look at. They had a good a coffee selection, some food & pastry items which was great. Definitely recommend this coffee place!
This coffee and surf shop located at St. Petersburg Beach is known for its specialty coffees, unique lattes, pastries and beachwear. This bright and charming spot offers both indoor and outdoor seating. On a rare cold day in Florida, I had a hot chocolate and a vegan pop tart. It was all delicious. They just reopened after being damaged by the hurricane.
I dream about the toasted coconut latte every morning when I wake up. The drinks are amazing and I love their little patio set up! I've also ordered the caprese sandwich both times and it was delicious. Just wish the parking situation was better, but I'll definitely be back!
I came in on a lazy weekend morning before a walk on the beach and ordered an orange vanilla latte- so delicious! I also got the spinach feta croissant that they have from Crumb Factory. Absolutely incredible. This adorable coffee shop is also a surf shop, so definitely a great place to check out when you're in the area or headed to the beach!
Cool coffee shop on the way to the beach. It was nice that they carried men's clothes too, with hats, bathing suits, and accessories. They had a few tables inside and out if you choose to dine in. They also have a good size parking lot in the front. I recommend adding this coffee shop to your beach day.
Visited during the holidays and the gingerbread latte was excellent. I loved the homemade gingerbread cookie topper and would easily buy a bag of the cookies alone. The staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed browsing the boutique while waiting for my coffee order.
Awesome staff, good coffee. Matcha was good too, very strong. They also have gf options for pastries. Super cute shop for boho and high quality surf attire/beach wear/just want us Florida people wear every day. Really bright and fresh ambiance for working, nice sunlight from the big windows. Right on the beach so you can walk. read more

After endless trips to the IRB location, it was finally time to try out the St Pete location, and it did not disappoint. Mind you this location lacks the same menu for food, but the ambiance and gift shop lack nothing. I got my go to coffee-- toasted coconut, and it was perfect as usual. I loved walking around the shop, snapping pics, and checking out their gift items. I wish they would add a full menu like the IRB location; however, it is still one of the best coffee shops arounds. read more

The coffee shop and surf shop is so adorable. The vibes were perfect. The line was long but the coffee was worth it. We also went on a Sunday so bigger crowds were expected. The shop also has so many cute clothing options, and even a descent men's section of swim/beach attire. We got a cinnamon honey latte and the pineapple upside down cake latte. Both were great! read more
Grove is the best coffee at the beach! So glad they recovered from the hurricanes! Delicious coffee, great atmosphere and awesome shopping! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It is always a must when I'm in the area! read more
We arrived at 10:30, absolutely bumping. Lots of gifts, clothing, and other possible purchase options. The line was a bit long but we moved through fast. The coffee was natural. The ratio from espresso to milk was perfect but probably wanted a bit more milk. The mocha was great. And was smooth and sweet. The smooth flavor of banana was perfect, not too sweet though. The salted caramel latte tasted natural not to much not to little. The orange vanilla latte was good, with a good aftertaste, maybe a bit sweeter. The toasted coconut latte was perfect with chewy crunchy bits of coconut. There was a bathroom, but I wasn't able to look into it but it looked fine. The decor around the counter was very fun and the pictures on the wall fit perfectly. The surf part of the restaurant brings out an interesting pop of fun. I wish the outside decor was a bit better. I wish the cups were decorated. And maybe a bit less ice. All around good. But needs some small improvements. I'd say that the cofre was worth the price. read more

First time visiting Grove Surf + Coffee today. I brought a friend and we enjoyed exploring all the cool nicknacks. I had the iced banana matcha, she had the hot coconut latte and we split the spinach/goat cheese pastry. We both enjoyed everything! I bought a cute wallet and she bought a cute lemon, hair claw clip. We will definitely be back to enjoy both shopping and caffeinated beverages. read more

Stopped here before going to the beach. 10/10 matcha! I enjoyed the aesthetics of the shop and liked that there were things to look at while waiting on my order. read more
LOVE! This place is amazeballs! Cutest, brightest, sunniest, most comfortable, stylish, surf shop/coffee shop hang out with the best service. Aloha! Moi got the cutest sundress & they were just getting in all kinds of gorgeous fresh water pearl jewelry, some of the girls were already wearing some ohmygosh cuteness overload everywhere. Lots of gorgeous high end beachy stuff for men, women & children. They make a mean unsweet iced matcha latte & also like Pińa coladas de coladas... Do you like piña coladas, getting caught in the rain, into yoga, have half a brain? Oh Yea? You're gonna love Grove surf & Coffee. "This is the one that I have dreamed of, come with me and escape." Added to moi list of fave coffee places. See you soon. OuiOui. read more

I highly recommend everyone to check out Grove Surf + Coffee if they are in the St Pete Beach area! The location is at the northern strip of the restaurants and shops. The ambiance is super cute and beachy. Half of it is a cafe with tables for work, and the other half is merch and beach items. I ordered the vanilla orange latte, and my sister got the toasted coconut one. Both were super good and unique. I love cafes with different varieties to switch it up from the classic vanilla iced latte. I also got the crumble cake to nibble on. It was very tasty! The service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again to try something new in the bakery section. The pop tarts looked really good too! It's a perfect stop if you're on the way to the beach and want a snack along the way. read more

I have a fear of dining at most places on the beach in our area. There are many businesses, I feel, that are just preying on tourists and their proximity to the main attraction. This is not one of those businesses. This spot is quality! Delicious beverages and unique pastries. A perfect stop before you go enjoy some fun in the sun. Prices are reasonable. Happy to see them recover from the storm! 9/10. read more
This places reminds me of Coffee Dose Costa Mesa, for some reason. The concept of marrying a surf/beach clothing store with a coffee shop is a great idea. The vibe is chill with the familiar and unique drink offerings. It is a good place to sit and relax, or even get some work done. We dropped by twice during our visit to the St Pete's area. The first time was for breakfast, while the second time was for an afternoon "pick me up". read more

This may be the first place I've been where they recommended I order coffee as they closed. Here's what happened: I arrived and was immediately drawn to the apparel. Cool shorts, delightful T-shirts. As I was wrapping up and heading to coffee, I was sucked into a conversation with one those delightful humans that have never met a stranger. But when we finished, it was 4:59. And I didn't want to be THAT GUY. So I headed to pay for my merchandise and the cashier asked if I wanted a coffee. I said that I would have loved one, but I didn't want to be that gu.... And I was cut off as she yelled across the store, "yo, is the espresso machine closed?" to which the crew happily responded, "nope, we save that for last!" Fast forward to a very happy ME walking along St Pete beached with an Iced Cold Brew in hand. 100% would recommend. read more

Cute coffee shop by St Pete Beach!! Location and ambiance wise is perfect. This cafe not only features drinks and some food but the other half is store where you can buy their merch! Service was good, everyone was so kind. I ordered their banana matcha and it was good I just wish the banana had a more fresh flavor and hoped the matcha would be a little stronger. Overall, I would for sure go back and try more from their menu!!! read more

Is it good for studying (has enough outlets and comfy seats)?
Love this shop, but personally I wouldn't recommend studying here. Folks come in and out to shop and so it would probably be a little distracting.
