You can now walk up to their outdoor space and sit and order. Of course they are still slammed with drive ups but I enjoyed sitting at the bar and sipping my coffee and enjoying my avo toast. Service was friendly and fast. It's cool that they have outdoor seating now. read more

Super cute concept and inviting outdoor space! That said, it felt pretty overpriced for the quality. The croissants were greasy, and the coffee was middle-tier at best. I ordered a 20 oz coffee assuming it would have more espresso, but alas mostly a giant cup of steamed milk. My husband's cold brew with specialty cold foam was also so foam-heavy it tasted more like milk than coffee. Service was surprisingly slow, especially for a concept centered around a drive-thru. I'd come back for the avocado toast and maybe a black cold brew, but overall I wish the coffee and service matched the price point! read more

This is a lovely outdoor spot with some Adirondack chairs around fire pits, a few wicker chairs and barstools, but they are primarily a drive through. Even better if they put a few more tables under the awning for people who want to eat there. The avocado toast with beet, feta, citrus and pecans was delicious. I also had a seasonal maple lavender latte. Service was very quick and friendly. Wish they were open later than 2, but that's a trend here in St Pete for breakfast/ lunch places. With some little lights at night, this would make a nice light supper meeting spot until 9 or 10 pm. I will be back to try their other offers. read more

Pineapple Espresso - Avocado toast with beet, citrus, feta, pecan.. Also had the maple lavender latte. Both delicious. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - St Petersburg, Florida

This is a very small coffee shop that is mostly a drive thru. There is a window to order outside with a few seats outside. No indoor seating is available. They do not have a menu posted in the drive thru so I recommend looking at the menu online before getting there so you know what you want. Luckily I went when it was not busy so I just asked for a menu while in line and no biggie I wasn't holding up the line. I ordered a hot hazelnut latte and it's very tasty! I paid a little over $7 for a small latte so they are priced a little on the high side but I don't mind since it's a smaller business. I would rather give my money to a local coffee shop than a major corporation like Starbucks or Dunkin. Plus the coffee just tastes better. Overall I recommend giving this place a try on your next morning commute or if you live in the neighborhood and feel like a morning walk to get some coffee. read more

Amazing food! Even better service! I found this lil place on my Monday morning run around while working. I grabbed the almond butter toast as well as a cappuccino w/their season special snickerdoodle. A tad chilly this morning so the gave me a blanket and set the fire! Perfect morning cup of Joe and some wonderful breakfast. There is outside seating only and a drive thru. Small friendly staff that serves everything with a grateful smile! Very cute coffee spot! Highly recommend! read more

I saw this coffee shop on TikTok, so I visited today. It's a very small place, but they have a drive through, which is super convenient for grabbing a quick coffee. I ordered a birthday cake latte and was sadly disappointed. If it didn't have whipped cream and sprinkles, I would have had no idea what flavor I ordered. It was extremely watered down too. The employees were friendly, but I wouldn't visit again for the coffee. read more

The food here is great and the staff is super helpful patient and nice. It's a drive thru spot so be fully prepared as its not your typical sit down joint. The food is delicious and healthy and you can enjoy it guilt free! read more

My friend suggested we pick up lunch from here and it was the perfect choice for an easy picnic in the park. The avocado stuffed with smoked salmon is my fave. That plus the caprese toast I got was just enough to make me full but not stuffed. As someone who is hypersensitive to caffeine, I'm happy to discover a place with yummy caffeine-free options! I got the Golden Maple Latte which was one of the best turmeric drinks I've tried, but I preferred the sweetness of my friend's Beet Root Latte--and how cute and pink! The staff was friendly and great about answering our questions/checking on ingredients for allergens, and we waited less than 10 minutes for our order. They do have some nice, covered picnic tables outside for dining on-site. Only suggestion is it'd be great to have a small side dish of fresh fruit on the menu! read more

Stumbled upon this little local gem. 10/10! The avocado toast was so delicious, especially if you love everything but the bagel seasoning! YUM! My husband also loved his egg and sausage sandwich. All ingredients were fresh and service was friendly and quick. Lots of options on the menu! The drive thru concept is also great, because if you're in the mood for a quick healthy bite, it's perfect for that! They also have a cute little outdoor area for sitting if you prefer to eat there. All around great place and can't wait to come back. read more

Wow! The food here is amazing. I appreciate that there are wellness lattes that don't have coffee. The menu items are so creative! You can get so many unique toasts and even a stuffed avocado. The staff was great at answering questions and managing accomodations. There isn't a traditional dining area. There is a small bit of seating in the front of the building. The food is packaged well, so great to grab and go have a picnic in one of the local parks. read more

What an amazing and adorable coffee shop with a killer kitchen!!! Wow!!!! Okay, so Pineapple Espresso has been on my list for ages but I just hadn't gotten around to going. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the chilliest so far this year, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to grab snacks in the drive thru and head to Flora Wylie Park. The seasonal options spoke to me, so I ordered the maple lavender butterfly peaflower matcha concoction and the brussels & bacon toast. Both were 5/5, hands down! The matcha was sweet but not too sweet to finish and the toast was PERFECT, NO NOTES. Local bread, local micro greens, nice layer of ricotta with delicious toppings. I truly could not get enough of this thing and I'll need to go back for another soon. The folks who brought out my items were so friendly, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. It put me in such a good mood on my solo self care morning! read more

I've had Pineapple Espresso on my "to try" list for a long time so I was excited when I got the opportunity this morning to give it a try! At 10:15am on a Tuesday I was the only one there, the drive thru is not a service window but a hostess stand with two people working who walk up to your car to give you a menu and have you pay, then you drive around the corner and wait for someone to walk your order out to you. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and an iced oat milk latte, both were delicious. With tip I paid about $20. I agree with what others have said, the quality is really high, but the prices are also really high. There aren't a ton of times when I want a high quality breakfast and also need to take it to-go, but if that's the boat you're in it's worth stopping by! read more

It has been a few tears since I visited and they are still going strong. If anything they have better perfected and sped up the ordering and delivery system. It is 95% drive thru so this is key. They have a few parking spits and a covered patio with a couple of random chairs, but the bulk is drive thru. I enjoyed the ricotta toast on turmeric sourdough, so tasty! Be aware, they put micro greens on everything so if this is not your thing make to remember to say no micro greens, even if it is not listed almost all toasts get a generous amount (can you tell I am not a fan lol). Good selection of seasonal items, pastries, teas and coffee drinks as well as a solid kids menu. Enjoy! read more

I love this place and wish there was one in Rhode Island. Super convenient, fast and delicious. I could spend the same amount of money and time on a basic boring unhealthy salad from McDonalds. There aren't many places to get a quick and delicious salad so I really love having this option. We were in town again for my sons swim meet and I remembered the place from visiting last year. It's constant back and forth to the pool - so being able to grab something healthy between sessions was important. I got the cobb salad and added a scoop of turkey salad - amazing. Deliciously filling. To be honest, the three of us got Cobb Salads - but my son got his put into a wrap. Also the pineapple and mint infused water was *chefs kiss*. I like infused water - and I especially enjoyed the clarity of this, no bits or appearance of fruit lingering behind which always happens when I make my own. I drank 2 large that day. The staff is also super nice. I don't know how they fit all they do into such a small space, it's magic. read more

This used to be my favorite coffee shop until they took away the Cardamom Rose latte. I was very upset finding out it's gone. I decided to try the Maple Ginger Matcha Latte and it doesn't taste like maple or ginger. It just tastes like a sugary drink. Very disappointed. I don't think I will be coming back here unless they readd the cardamom rose back to the menu. read more

Oh WOW I was not expecting to find this gem this morning!! A menu full of the most wonderful cafe items that you just don't find normally. I really wanted the smoked salmon but the Everything Toast was my final choice. I also had a skim latte I give them a 5/5 for the service and ingredients. The ladies I saw were full of smiles and very nice. The latte tasted great. I didn't add any flavoring and the espresso tasted as good or better than any other coffee shop. The toast was a little over cooked and had a slight burnt taste, so overall I give 4/5 on the food. I would definitely come back to try everything else on their menu. read more

I. Love. My. Pineapple espresso!!! This place is my secret happy place. I come here a lot, most mornings after a long previous night shift to get my morning shift going again. I'm ALWAYS greeted with kindness and a smile. They're speedy and efficient, and did I mention they're SWEETHEARTS? I love them. These people work hard to provide the best quality of service. Pulled up this time on a Saturday morning (not my usual timing) and they were pretty busy, yet, still moving with smiles and making it happen. I will never stop coming here, love you Pineapple Espresso Team! Service is always great and the food tastes good. Prices are super high but it's worth it from time to time to support a small business. Not something sustainable to pay $25 for a breakfast meal and large drink plus tip. I got the salmon toast and large birthday latte. Even with salmon and fresh ingredients, $14 for toast is a bit much. The drink took a while to make but was tasty once it arrived. I got it without the whipped cream and sprinkles but it was still very flavorful. It's fun to see what new flavors they have created. I honestly can't say more to boast on this cute spot than anyone else has already said. It is SO stinking cute from the outside. I mean who thinks to convert an old service station to a drive through coffee shop?!?! Not me! But guys it SO works. And it's hilarious because I was looking around at the decor, and staff thinking "this should be in Portland!!" When my daughter piped up from the backseat and said "I feel like we need this in Portland! It's so cute!" I got an iced coffee with oatmilk and Maple Lavender syrup. They make it, and they said they're kind of known for this. So hey y'all I'm a tourist now, I said well then I HAVE to have it!!! I was skeptical since I LOVE Maple but I've never liked lavender in coffee. Y'all. It's SO good. It's SO good in fact that I let my daughter taste it and she wouldn't give it back lol Service 5 star. Ambiance 5 star. Coffee 5 star. Locals and tourists alike GET here. It's the best!!! read more

HubbyStanks and I always say when we lived in Saint Pete "we didn't have this and we didn't have that." Pinapple Espresso is one of those places that make us say it! I am usually unimpressed by any avocado or special toast that I get for breakfast because I make a damn good toast at home. I am highly impressed with pineapple espresso! If I lived in the pete again I'd be in big trouble because both the salmon toast and everything toast was, well EVERYTHING! We were luckily in town to pick up a plant we had purchased in the morning. Another coffee shop was closed that I wanted to try, but trusty Yelp saved the day...I hadn't heard of this Magnolia Heights gem beforehand! I love that I was able to get oat milk in my latte! I also love that they offer lavender! The place is so cute, with free infused water in the drive through. Also very impressed with their COVID-19 protocol! Very safe establishment! I want to drive over the bridge now for breakfast! read more

Wonderful spot with an amazing staff and great food. Definitely on the pricy side for two toasts and a coffee ($23), but worth it for a treat. This place was INCREDIBLE. I got the beet root latte (caffeine free) along with a couple of their seasonal toast options. I dont remember what they were called, but one was with hummus and feta and olives - YUM. I dont even topically like olives and I thought it was great. The other one has Brussel sprouts on it. The lady who brought it to my car literally said, "be careful, the Brussel sprout toast is addicting" and boy. Was she right. I want to go back tomorrow tbf. The beet root latte was really tasty!! Didn't taste at all like beets in my opinion. Was just a pleasant lightly sweet drink. I would totally come back here again and I definitely plan on it!! read more

The line of cars wrapped around the small pink building should be a clear indicator of the magic that the Pineapple Espresso team creates on the daily. Seasonal menu changes bring delicious new options to accompany regular mainstays like my favorite smoked salmon toast with added diced avocado on locally made whole grain toasted bread. Great concept and execution. Excellent coffee. Cool aesthetics. I always get oat milk so I notice what local places charge extra for that, and I believe as I write this it is only 50 cents extra here, which is probably the lowest in town - so thank you Pineapple Espresso!
