We stopped at burger monger after seeing a show in St Pete, and it being a Friday night we wanted options with our group. Burger Monger has a variety of burgers, hot dogs, salads, sides and milkshakes! This is an order at the counter, they give you a number to place at your table and they'll bring you your food. We each went up from our table to order and service was within 5 minutes of placing! The only issue or concern we had was they had karaoke going on but no signs saying if it was a karaoke night or possibly a holiday party (again no signs on if this was a reoccurring thing or a one time so take that as you will). But the music was so loud we couldn't talk so once we got a few bites we had to step out to continue the night. Overall we'd stop here again but may just take our food to go. read more

Went to the new location on Pasadena Avenue. They were only open a few days, but I thought everything went fairly smoothly. My friend had to wait for her burger, but they were very apologetic and gave us each a five dollar coupon. I thought the food was delicious so glad it is close to me. I recently ate here and it was my first time. I love hot dogs and figured why not? The service was outstanding and employees helpful when I placed my first time order. My hot dog came up hot and delicious with a side of fries. I walked around the corner from when I was seating and noticed a bar! So, that's a perk! All sorts of cocktails available. I had Burger Monger for the first time in St. Pete. I had their beef burger with bacon mixed in the patty. Overall, it was good but not amazing. The patty was also lump sided. I had a side of their sweet potato fries and they were okay. I still prefer some of the other burger chains such as Five Guys or Shake Shack over this chain. This place is expensive. It was over $40 for two of us. I was hoping the food would warrant the price tag. Unfortunately, it did not. While it wasn't as greasy as fast food, it was miniscule. I remember when they first opened at 4th street ( downtown St Pete) their service and food was excellent. But now 2025 food and service has gone down on the rabbit hole. The daytime service crew looks completely unhappy here while night crew what somewhat enthusiastic maybe because this place have a open bar. I have been here few times this month (Dec 2025) their soda machine are nasty. The Soda / ice dispenser are nasty and Unsanitized. I wondered when was this last cleaned. Ice dispenser have molds. I can only imagine the soda dispenser nozzle have molds. This place is always slow, whenever I stopped here there's not much people come here (this used to be packed back in the days) I guess new management? Short staffed? That's Why the kitchen staff / crews are no longer happy? When I got to the counter I said Hi good afternoon how are you? All I got back was a looked of a person who doesn't want to be there. I could tell she wasn't really happy to be there at all lol. I fully understand her she's the only person on the kitchen at that time and no one's helping her. Management needs to do better. We came by to have a quick lunch with our son and his beautiful girlfriend- but I wasn't super hungry. I will say everything looked tasty and I only had a salad and fries. The monger sauce on the fries was perfect- bbq flavor! Those that ordered burgers loved them and the milkshake was a big hit. Come hungry and willing to expand your burger taste buds. My son gets home and they didn't even put the chicken tenders on the order. He had to go all the way back down there to get. Luckily, they gave them to us for free. My sone and I ordered the cheesy monger melt, what a disgrace. The texas toast ( and I use that word lightly) was soggy and wet. It was like eating raw dough. Couldn't find the monger sauce. There was more bread that meat and it went straight into the trash after two bites. The cheesy fries were a joke. If there was bacon on there, you couldn't tell. The bun for my other son's chicken sandwich crumbled and fell apart. The milkshakes we got were just that milk. They were like water. This store needs some serious work. I will never ever get another monger burger and this was my first and last time. For that amount of money I would have been better off to go to Longhorn steakhouse or better yet McDonalds. Well, I live in the Old NE and thought than rather then a luke warm burger w soggy fries from Uber Eats, I'd take the family to dinner here. We arrive to an empty restaurant with 2 of the 3 employees smoking cigarettes literally in front of the entrance. Needless to say- it smelled awful walking in and I love a good smoke every now and again- just not before a burger w my kids. Uncooked bacon on my wife's sandwich, cold soggy fries, 5 onion rings overcooked and more bun than meat (surprise here as I always think the burgers are a good size) Things have changed at the Monger and I now know it's not Uber eats. This is one good burger and the review coming from a guy who doesn't crave or eat many burgers. You get to pick all your toppings from a long list. I highly recommend the grilled onions. Was craving a burger, but not any burger, an artisanal burger. Decided to search for a spot in St. Pete. and visited Burger Monger. Its location is very centric, has a very wide parking lot which is shared with other shops. It's very spacious with a very nice amount of tables. Heads up... it's not a sit, order and be waited on but choose, order and food will be taken to your table. Burgers are very good! Fries, sweet potatoes are awesome! Tip: one serving of fries could be enough for two people! The only reason why I rated this location a 4, is because I feel that every employee should be dressed properly, speak in a very courteous respectful manner.
