I counted, there were 5 employees assembling our order. I normally don't tip at fast food restaurants, but I had to leave a couple of bucks in their tip jar for the great service. Got a Bacon Cheeseburger to go for $11.49. FREE unlimited toppings! I added lettuce, onion, pickles, and grilled mushrooms. Generous portions of all the ingredients on a superbly cooked burger. Another fast food place owner that expects their customers to pay their employees by installing a tip offer at payment. Their employees don't even deserve what they're paying them WITHOUT a tip.... Simple request to them today. Please put sauce on my burger. I'm glad to pay extra for it. ---No sauce ----"We will bring some" 10 min later: it's ready and now my burger is cold .. Places that install the feature to add a tip at check out always have horrible service because if you don't give them a tip, they slow walk your order and screw it up. Food was good but while we were there, the guy beside us accidentally knocked his milkshake. The cover was not on properly and it spilled all over his table. He went to the counter to ask for a new drink and to have it cleaned up. Someone came over with a fistful of napkins that hardly touched the spill. He asked her if she had a rag and she didn't understand because she couldn't speak English. Long story short, he finished his meal on a dirty table. I find that unacceptable. I don't know why people are crying. Ya'll expect too much from a fast food joint. Put on a helmet. Anyway, staff were polite. Food came out quick. Bacon cheeseburger with the works. Wifey got the same. Came out dripping, sloppy and delicious. Just as it should be. Bag was full full full of fries. Plenty of malt vinegar in stock. It was a banger. This was the best meal I've ever eaten. We ordered this close to the time that they close, so we were nervous about that, and when our delivery driver dropped off our food, all I can say is wow. The bag was literally piping hot. The burgers were beautifully coddled in the lettuce wraps and completely in tact. We were given an entire bag of fries which were burning hot and covered in salt. My favorite fries used to be Burger King for about 10+ years, and my opinion has officially changed. They tasted like a fresh batch was made for us. Ha ha ha! As a seasoned diner I should know by now that when a place mentions a specific food ( in this case burgers and fries) in their name; maybe you should stick to that. I've been CRAVING a a big, juicy, grilled hot dog with bacon and cheese for about a week and was next to this Five Guys and thought I remembered they did dogs. I walked in yo about two tables in the place an was greeted right away by the cashier. I ordered the dog with bacon and cheddar, the cashier asked about toppings and I said 'mustard, relish and onion' and she rung up and repeated back to me 'mustard, relish and mayo'. I stopped her and correct ' mustard, relish and onion' to which she typed in ' mustard and double relish'. I thought I was being punked and on the third time we got this right. Hot dog was split - already less juicy. But it was griddles nice and crisp... but when you keep pushing it down with the press; it's less juicy. Dog came up as ordered and while it had a lot of flavor the fact that they tear the roll apart it makes it hard to keep everything together. It was good, not amazing and for $6.09 it really wasn't worth the cost or the effort. read more

I must say I will never ever order from this place again. I ordered the food thru Uber eats, literally ordered 4 items and only got 3. All they have to do is read the ticket so it's not hard. I called they put me on hold then disconnected so I called back and they took the phone off the hook and it's still ringing busy. What kind of fly by night place is this? They need the owner to step in this location to see how it's being run. Could you imagine owning a business and your employees taking the phone off the hook so they didn't have to answer calls from people who didn't receive their entire order, why else would we call. Can't reorder without paying all the fees again so someone in the family isn't gonna eat. If their business practices are this way I wonder what else they are doing wrong. Food belongs on the ground. Overpriced gross greasy burgers , that are wrapped in tin foil so the grease goes into your bun and turns it into a grease bun. God forbid you ask for onions on your order. you will ALWATS get a huge mound of them (usually in one spot). tried the hotdog today thinking it might be better. $5 and i took one bite and wish i had a greasy burger instead. my fault for trying this place again. I got here from Chicago maybe 3 months ago and I've heard wonderful things about this place. Decided to take my girlfriend out to a movie and treat ourselves to some good food. We were greeted immediately and the cashier was prompt and displayed a level of friendlyness that was more than average food service bored but less than stellar. The food was prepared quickly enough but there were perhaps three clean tables out of a dozen. With four total customers (two of them being my girlfriend and I) and six people behind the counter, I wondered what was so important that the tables couldn't get a quick wipe? On top of this, my girlfriend's hot dog was cold in the center and the young man that prepared the fries decided to cover the bottom of my bag with fries instead of putting them in the cup. Check Your Order Before Taking Home. About once a week I purchase a 5 Guys Burger. Yesterday I stopped by and picked up a burger and took it home. When I got home is discoved several things wrong. First the bun was burnt, not just toasted but burnt. One of the patties was also burnt, to make matters worse although I had ordered the "Works" there was nothing but the patties on the bun. No lettuce, tomatoes etc. I understand mistakes can happen. I took the receipt back today. A lovely young lady (Justine?) said she was the manager. I politely explained the problem. To my surprise she said "I am not calling you a liar but why did you not bring it back when you discovered the problem." I very politely explained (with a smile) it was about a 15 minute ride back to 5 Guys. She said it was "unlikely this could have happend but she said she would give me another Burger now or a coupon for later". At this point I was getting annoyed at being (not?) called a liar and implied that I was trying to pull a fast one. I politely suggested she throw in some French Fries to make up for the problem. She said "no, your receipt says "The Works", you did receive the works. I am not calling you a liar (again) but actually this could not have happened with a single Burger". (I am not sure why it could not happen with a single Burger.) I said "Do you think I would go to this much trouble to get a free Burger." She replied "this could not have happened with a single Burger but she would replace the Burger". At this point I had enough, I politely said it was not important to argue about a Burger. and left. Not accepting the replacement Burger or coupon. The real problem was the grill person. I had stopped in at 5:45 PM it was busy. I sat and ate the free peanuts while waiting (it seemed like a long wait). I noticed the grill guy throwing his hands in the air as if he was confused. He would turn around and walk a few feet from the grill and then back back to the grill, shaking his head. I was surprised that the 5 Guys manager did not try to discover the problem but tried to blame me and telling me she is not calling me a liar (twice). What was she calling me? I was nice and polite during this event maybe I should have been rude. Congratulations 5 Guys, this manager saved you a burger and lost a customer. Message... I have always wanted to eat at a Five Guys and got my wish today! Cool place, simple menu and one of the best burgers I've had! Got the Cheeseburger ($5.19) and an iced tea. The burger is molded by hand, not flash frozen McDonal's crap, cooked to a perfect medium and comes with whatever you choose from their 'free toppings' list. I went with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard and jalapenos. It was a jumping-good burger. They have veggie sandwiches, cajun-style fries and four kind of hot dogs, just to name a few.
