Pretty much consistently good experience every time we visit for breakfast. I love the "special" with 1/2 order biscuits and gravy, eggs and meat. It's delicious. First visit, I ordered the eggs benedict, but the Hollandaise was a little too "lemony" for me, and the potatoes had a lot of black, burnt areas and just weren't very good. I love eggs benedict, and always order it anywhere that offers it, but just not here. But, the "special" is always top notch! I don't think it's on the menu, but I was told that's what it's called.The servers are all familiar faces whenever we go (doesn't seem to be much turnover, if any, which tells you they're doing something right), and they're all very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service, lovely, pleasant inside and very good consistent food. I'm picky about quiche, and I make a great one, IMHO. So when I say their quiche combo is good, I mean it. Quality ingredients , very light crust. Choose a thick slice of their quick breads on the side. Get it griddled. Nice fresh fruit salad also comes with it. All their food is delicious. I ordered the country skillet ($13.99) which had all the usual items except mushrooms, plus the addition of country gravy. It was served quickly and while not exceptional, it was pretty good. The service was slow even though the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. Ale, my waitress, walked by several times three feet away without noticing I was trying to get her attention. I went to Rest approx 4 weeks ago wasn't going to post but these people could make you sick. I ordered there poached eggs,english muffin,sausage pattys with white gravy,and wanted double fruit in place of potatoes customer behind me must ordered fruit also minus banana's i watched cook grab his bananas of his bowl with bare hands and put on my 2 bowls no GLOVES BARE HANDS. so asked to talk to him the cook he pronounced himself as cook slash manager when i asked him about gloves he informed me he is 30 year previous with health dept and he can touch food bare handed as long as it is same food. Simply amazing 30 year vet of health dept believes its okay to touch anybodys food barehanded and manager of this place of business. Just feel people should not be in that career with that mindset. If he honestly is 30 year vet of health dept that says a lot for health dept training. P.S. i think he is full of -hit but rest needs to look into Safe Health Training for staff because that guy cant do it. read more

We've always had consistently good quality food and service here. Today was no exception. The Mediterranean Quiche was excellent. The fruit cup that came with it was filled with really fresh, fresh fruit. I got the Traditional Eggs Benedict. Good Hollandaise and the Canadian bacon was sliced pretty thick. Sides: Very nice home fries and instead of fruit, I substituted a slice of their home made bread. The homemade bread is something that makes this place quite unique. Todays options were Cranberry Orange, Lemon Berry, Coconut Pineapple, Banana Walnut and Carmel Apple. We got the Coconut Pineapple and Banana Walnut. Both were spectacular, moist, lightly toasted, great flavors. I could make a breakfast of just getting one slice of each flavor. Music. Interesting music station playing. I heard everything from Led Zeppelin's Black Dog, to Torn Between to Lovers to The Train They call The City of New Orleans. I liked the wide range of music. Gabriel is a great server. This place is a very clean and nice breakfast place with a lot of traditional options but also some more unique ones! The omelet was perfectly cooked and very fluffy, and loaded with the fillings. The fruit side is very good, much better quality & variety than most places! I also really liked the breakfast bread, which they had many options for but I went with the coconut pineapple. Located in what looks like a previous fast food building, they have a variety of seating from a diner type stool seating at the bar, booths and tables. I ordered the Traditional - eggs, pancakes, and bacon, as well as adding home fries. The eggs were nice and fluffy - not over cooked; the bacon was thick and done just right, and the pancakes were standard. Trying a new place that is near the theater. Great reviews and awesome looking food. When we arrived we were sat immediately. It was busy but they were very efficient After looking over the menu I landed on their Reuben and a cup of chicken noodle soup. Both were amazing. Deep flavors in the soup and the rueben was stacked on perfectly toasted rye. Deb had a quiche which she said it was just ok. Will try something different next time. Best club sandwich I've had in ages! And it was just 9 a.m. which really endeared this Benedict location to me. The meat meat was fresh and sliced perfectly such made it easy to eat without it falling apart. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. My friend had poached eggs and an English muffins. The fresh coffee was hot. Good service, very nice and friendly service. It us over six miles from where we live but the quality and ambiance of this liston makes it well worth a longer drive. I would rate it at 5 stars for cleanliness, service and food. I ordered the special on the menu, steak and eggs. Wife and I had breakfast here yesterday and it was very good. Our waitress was great, very personable, and attentive. I love the smaller size of the booths. I got a breakfast plate and my wife got the tuna melt. My only slight complaint is that the grits needed to have more attention because there was a giant lump almost the size of the bowl, so I was only able to eat what little bit of loose grits there was around it. I am still giving 5 stars because as a southerner I know grits can be tricky and lumps happen to the best of us lol Everything else was amazing. Place is newly renovated, keeping Emily's basic footprint. Service is slow lots of mistakes with the orders arriving to patrons near me. You sit very close to your fellow diners. She dropped off the food and did not once come back to ask how was everything because if she did I would have told her my omelet had cheddar cheese in it not a fan of it with Swiss and ham. I then had to get up to get another OJ because she didn't even bother to ask or refill check once I had to get up to ask for a drink refill and eat something I didn't order because the server never bothered to check on her table it's a big lost on your tip. The biscuit bottom was also hard not a fresh biscuit tasted like she microwaved it to heat it up. I don't think I will be returning. The tip she received was reflected in the service we got. We stopped for breakfast on the way to the airport. We had wanted to try a Benedict's, as there is one close to our condo we still haven't visited yet, so we stopped here. I would NOT recommend. Our service was sub-par, in reality I should say it was probably the worst waitress ever. People at other tables (with a better waitress probably) were getting their food way before we did. When our food finally arrived the waffle was ice cold, the bacon wasn't delivered until we asked multiple times, and probably the most concerning thing - the waitress set a wrong dish in front of one of us and proceeded to take it back and give it to someone else! My husband's eggs Benedict was probably the worst he's ever had (and I'd say that was the best breakfast anyone had) Too many GOOD options for breakfast to visit another Benedict's. I expected to wait, but there was plenty of seating available. The waitress came right out and grabbed our drink order. For a diner, the coffee was a bit weak; never been my experience at other diners. My son ordered a breakfast skillet and devoured it in seconds. Plenty of eggs, sausage and veggies. My daughter ordered grits and the cinnamon roll french toast. She started with the grits and barely had enough room for the french toast, which made my son happy. She said they were some of the best grits she's ever eaten. I had a bite of the french toast, it was perfect! Exactly as you would expect; a large cinnamon roll, sliced, dipped and fried. So good. I may not have the best rating for this place as I really just did a pickup order to go. I was following my low carb diet that day so I got one of their omelets with some extra bacon and some of their home potatoes on the side. Everything was very well seasoned and very well cooked. When I walked in to pick up my order I did think the style the place was very nice and inviting and I have seen them pop up on my dog-friendly place so that could be a good place to go for a breakfast or brunch if you have a little furball like I do.
