Benedict's has a decent menu, and they specialize in various types of Eggs Benedict (Of course). I ordered the country skillet ($13.99) which had all the usual items except mushrooms, plus the addition of country gravy. It was served quickly and while not exceptional, it was pretty good. The service was slow even though the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. Ale, my waitress, walked by several times three feet away without noticing I was trying to get her attention. And while the table was clean, the condiments were sticky. Lose 1 star for spacey waitress, and 1/2 star for sticky condiments: Benedict's gets 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.

We've always had consistently good quality food and service here. Today was no exception. The Mediterranean Quiche was excellent. The fruit cup that came with it was filled with really fresh, fresh fruit. I got the Traditional Eggs Benedict. Good Hollandaise and the Canadian bacon was sliced pretty thick. Sides: Very nice home fries and instead of fruit, I substituted a slice of their home made bread. The homemade bread is something that makes this place quite unique. Todays options were Cranberry Orange, Lemon Berry, Coconut Pineapple, Banana Walnut and Carmel Apple. We got the Coconut Pineapple and Banana Walnut. Both were spectacular, moist, lightly toasted, great flavors. I could make a breakfast of just getting one slice of each flavor. Music. Interesting music station playing. I heard everything from Led Zeppelin's Black Dog, to Torn Between to Lovers to The Train They call The City of New Orleans. I liked the wide range of music. Gabriel is a great server. We've had him before. It definitely says something about a place that can retain servers over a period of time.

This place is a very clean and nice breakfast place with a lot of traditional options but also some more unique ones! The omelet was perfectly cooked and very fluffy, and loaded with the fillings. The fruit side is very good, much better quality & variety than most places! I also really liked the breakfast bread, which they had many options for but I went with the coconut pineapple. The service was great as well and very quick. Overall a great place for breakfast or brunch!

Julie our server was friendly and helpful. Here for the first time today. Wife had sausage eggs and pancakes. I had bacon eggs and French toast. Everything was delicious and the place was clean and well organized. My only problem is they don't serve hash browns. Oh well.

Staff was great, food was sooo good. Country skillet was favorful and delicious. Traditional was good and both dishes were filling. Would go back for sure.

I had a very pleasant experience at Benedict's! We went to the Pinellas park located for the first time on Easter morning and we got seated right away. The staff were very attentive and polite. I ordered the traditional breakfast- eggs, bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were absolutely amazing, sooo fluffy. And the bacon was cooked perfectly! I also got orange juice to drink. I will definitely be returning.

Second morning in the StP/TB area and looking for some non-chain breakfast option on our way to the beach. Located in what looks like a previous fast food building, they have a variety of seating from a diner type stool seating at the bar, booths and tables. I ordered the Traditional - eggs, pancakes, and bacon, as well as adding home fries. The eggs were nice and fluffy - not over cooked; the bacon was thick and done just right, and the pancakes were standard. The home fries were NOT the usual orange fried squares, rather potatoes seasoned with peppers etc. Really liked this place - though our waitress (lady with accent) was a little spaced out and forgot about us several times.

Trying a new place that is near the theater. Great reviews and awesome looking food. When we arrived we were sat immediately. It was busy but they were very efficient After looking over the menu I landed on their Reuben and a cup of chicken noodle soup. Both were amazing. Deep flavors in the soup and the rueben was stacked on perfectly toasted rye. Deb had a quiche which she said it was just ok. Will try something different next time. Overall a solid place for some really good food and reasonable prices.

Triple Decker Club Sandwich

Best club sandwich I've had in ages! And it was just 9 a.m. which really endeared this Benedict location to me. The meat meat was fresh and sliced perfectly such made it easy to eat without it falling apart. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. My friend had poached eggs and an English muffins. The fresh coffee was hot. Good service, very nice and friendly service. It us over six miles from where we live but the quality and ambiance of this liston makes it well worth a longer drive. The establishment is clean and very easy to get in and out.

Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

They have a pretty extensive menu of options, but our go to is the fried grouper sandwich with American cheese and no lettuce or tomato. Our other go to is the lobster roll. Now this go around we did notice the lobster was more shredded than it was chunks which is what we've seen previously so that was a bit of a change, but overall, it was still good. We've had the onion rings before but this go round we decided to share a side of french fries and we did ask for them crispy. They were perfect. Be prepared to wait though as this location is super small and if you come during a busy season or around that lunchtime period you're most likely going to have to wait. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. But, one thing we did notice is that you can walk up and order to go. That's a great option to have and something we may take advantage of in the future.

When the host came out, she stated that she needed to "clear the area." While we understand the need to manage space, the request was directed at us and was delivered in an unpleasant, dismissive tone. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

This is the new location on central, perhaps the same size overall as the other and just as challenging to park. We lucked out on this day, this being our second time here. The first visit was just for drinks. This time we are hungry. We even lucked out when we walked in, few open spots at the bar. The place was busy just like any other time, but it didn't take long to get the attention of the bar tender. Drink orders taken and menus received. I have eaten at the previous location and food was good, first time here. Looked over the menu and decided on the Philly Bob, cheeseburger with shaved rib-eye and onions. The wife also had the fever, she ordered the Philly Egg Rolls and fries. For as many people that were there it really didn't take too long for our food to arrive. The Philly Bob came and it looked great. Not one for a mash up cheeseburger, these two came together well and done just right. The only thing I would have liked is regular fries, these were a coated kind like Checkers. The wife said her egg rolls were awesome as well with a cheese dipping sauce. I was so involved with my burger I never gave her egg rolls a try, and what was not finished she took home and didn't share. And by the way, one order of fries is enough for two. Since it is a new location for them it's pretty clean and well maintained. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Peace.

I see in another review a Yelper complains that it's not a tiki bar, but if you understand proper English, they're not claiming to be a tiki bar. The name says Pub & Grill. The bar's OWNER is Tiki Tim. That's his nickname, not a description of the bar. Yes there are some tiki type decorations, and yes, the place is actually a dive bar, But they have an absolutely fantastic kitchen so Tiki Tim's is well worth visiting. I ordered the Loaded Crab Cake Bloody Mary ($26.99). This exceptional Bloody Mary comes with a Bloody Mary Chaser! The chaser had 6 green olives. The Bloody Mary itself had: 4 pcs Celery 2 slices of Bacon 3 Mini tomatoes 4 lg shrimp 1 Crab cake burger It's a meal as well as a drink. Nice kick, too. My wife wanted to try the crab cake but the bartender (the fabulous Carolyn, aka London) sold her on the fresh-caught snapper sandwich. Date of Visit: April 4, 2026…read more I had caught this review about this place on-line and because of it's local, I just had to try it. From where I was I headed north up 58th St. from Central with the top down. It was one of those days. I don't usually take 58th that far, it's more like till 5th or 9th. Not all the way to 54th, it was nice drive. It wasn't long and I was in the parking area of the plaza. Never been here before but from the outside it looked like my kinda place. As I walked in I could see the wall of taps with many, many choices. Also it was only me and another, then it hit me, being spring break and all everybody is at the beach. Oh well, I sat and ordered a beer, a Pacifico to be exact. When I'm out somewhere new I like to drink something new or different from my usual. As I sipped my beer I looked over the burger menu. They have several options but I always go with a standard, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Cooked medium. I also ordered something different as well. I had onion rings with my burger. My wife always gets rings and I fries. The food arrived and the first thing I noticed was the onion rings. These had to be made fresh cause they didn't look frozen. And the burger was dressed nice too. Although I am smash-burger fan I don't discriminate others. This wasn't a smash but it wasn't overly fat either. When I bit in to one of the rings, Wow. I could bite thru the ring and not pull the onion out. Great rings. Now the burgers turn. It was cooked medium just as I requested, just a hint of pink and juicy. And with the toppings cut Julian, I got some with every bite. I will be back...If you haven't already, stop in and give it a try. Peace.
