But it truly melts in your mouth--perfectly cooked, comforting, and flavorful without being overly sweet. On another visit, we tried a variety of breakfast items including pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, and a muffin, and everything was consistently fresh and well prepared. You can tell care goes into both the ingredients and the presentation. The service was fast, very friendly, and efficient. Even during a busy breakfast rush, the staff was attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This review is overdue. We've come to this location a few times now and it doesn't ever disappoint! Service is great, all the waitresses are super friendly and efficient. The place is very clean and they managed to fit in plenty of seating without it feeling like you're on top of the other table. The food is great! We love that they have a seasonal menu. Didn't really think of much of this place until my colleagues recommended it. I was shocked and surprised, in a good way! It was me and ny hubby's first time coming here so we didn't really know what to expect when it comes to their food. So it seems they do promote healthy lifestyle/eating, which is such a huge plus! We got the kale tonic fresh juice which was composed of kale, Fuji apple, English cucumber and lemon. It tasted fresh and energizing. We also ordered the Chile chorizo omelette and market hash. The market hash consisted of two sunny side eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, mozzarella and goat cheese. The Chile chorizo omelette consisted of chorizo, omelette, avocado, green chiles, onions, cheddar and Monterey Jack. Both came with fresh whole grain toast. Overall the food was godly delicious. Just came in today May 27th, 2026. Was in a huge rush but needing something in my stomach so I asked the host at the front if they had anything super quick that didn't take long to make and she suggested a muffin and I said thatd be perfect! So she went back and grabbed me a muffin and as i was going to pay she handed me the box with the muffin in it and told me don't worry about it that it's taken care of. I honestly was having a horrible day starting out in the morning and that interaction just completely changed my whole day! Didnt ask her name but she's got blonde hair! They lose a star this trip because my biscuits and gravy with eggs (scrambled) were EXTREMELY mediocre, to put it politely. Queen Bee enjoyed her "half and half" selection. She chose a half Monterey club (grilled) and a cup of tomato basil soup. My dear Queen Bee totally loved her choices, and said she'd order that same combo again as a switch up from breakfast stuff. She also had the "Morning Meditation" mixed juice beverage. Our dear server Alex totally forgot to bring it out until we were half done with our food. She did apologize about it, although the Missus could've done without it by this juncture. Beyond that, not notably remarkable one way or the other. When we cashed out, we used the gift card the corporate office gave us back when for a total strikeout of a first visit to this First Watch. No less than the manager himself cashed us out. Well... After adding in tip to the original $31 tab, and subtracting the $30, we had around $9 left. So Mr. Manager appeared confused and said "$8.85 on the card?" and THEN repeated himself after QB said "yes." So he had this quizzical deer in the headlight expression. What I totally did NOT like is that he neither acknowledged nor smiled nor anything. No "thank you," no "have a nice day," not a single stinking word. This is the kind of service I'd expect from someone a few links down the food chain. This fellow (tall blond haired male with glasses) is supposed to be in CHARGE of this place??? Good help is truly hard to find these days, particularly in the hospitality field. Let's just say Mr. Manager was about as friendly and hospitable as a bowling ball. The Million Dollar Bacon is on point!!! Don't hesitate, just get it. I like that they always have new fresh blended juices on the menu. Back in July it was something with watermelon, for November it's beets. Healthy and full of good flavors. WOW!! Okay so this place is not just good, it's amazing. We have one in Charlotte that is brand new so I thought we'd give it a try here in st petes to hopefully love it and get excited for it to open back home! IT MET EVERY EXPECTATION AND MORE!!! The service was fast, amazing, so kind, so efficient wow. They said 10-15 minutes (it looked busier then that but I trusted her) and yep 12 minutes in and the table was ready. Talk about service! I came here for a quick lunch. Was greeted nicely and the server was very helpful. I ended up ordering a full veggie sandwich. It was packed with veggies that were sauted on a multi grain bread. I loved the combination. It also came with some greens. They also use recyclable to go containers which is great. I wish they had non plastic utensils though. I had my own utensils. They also didn't provide any napkins with the to go which I thought was weird but that comes with the utensils I guess. All in all, a yummy experience. They can get busy, not having reservations, we waited 15-20 minutes. So, you decide if you want to wait. I always love coming to First Watch for their fresh food which is made with cage free eggs and their delicious Columbian coffee! I brought my husband here this week since he was off work and we were seated right away. Jodi was our waitress and always kept checking back on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I had a couple questions on the menu and she was able to answer them for me. If you haven't had their million dollar bacon, its a must! You get four slices of bacon and it is soaked in maple syrup, which is not your ordinary syrup. Very tasty! Next we split the carrot cake pancake and the banana granola crunch pancake. These are huge! And they have a lot of filling inside and don't skimp out which is nice! They were both really good and so different so its hard to choose which one I liked best! (It's a better deal for two so might as well try them both!) Then we share the turkey sausage and gravy biscuits which were delicious! It came served with two eggs, however you would like, and we got scrambled with potatoes. Average price for a meal is about $10 and pancakes were just under $5 for one or $6.79 for two. My advice is make sure you bring a sweater or light jacket because this restaurant is cold inside. I just don't understand why the management has the thermostat set so low it makes eating very uncomfortable. As I look around just about EVERY CUSTOMER is wearing long sleeves. The place also has 20 foot ceilings with large glass windows so it's very noisy everything echoes. All FirstWatch restaurants are like this as I've gone to many of them to eat, it's like your sitting in the train subway. Another thing I'm not crazy about is EVERY breakfast restaurant I've ate at ALWAYS gives two slices of toast with their omelettes but FirstWatch only gives one and if you ask the waitress for another slice I'm charged for it, at almost $12.00 for their "Morning Market Omelette" I should receive two slices like every other restaurant provides. Hopefully management reads my review I don't think it's unreasonable. read more

I've been coming to First Watch regularly for 20 years and this particular location since they opened about 5 years ago. Everything I've ever had was delicious. All the ingredients are always fresh. One of the best things they have is actually the sides of dressed mixed greens. Always crispy with a lively lemon vinaigrette. The plates are arranged and presented nicely. Tables are a little small and can get crowded. Their coffee is excellent. I normally have several cups. They've got hazelnut Int'l Delight creamer, which is super yummy. The wait staff is superb. Especially Jodie and Julie. We normally come early when it's less busy, so we get to chat - they're all very friendly and personable. I don't think I've ever had a mistake on an order. My meals always come quickly, even when they're busy. The restaurant is very clean, even more so with the extra attention due to the COVID-19. Individual, private bathrooms are clean and stocked. The restaurant is well lit, with lots of windows. The decor is a sort of industrial kitchen...thing. They have plenty of outdoor seating My favorite item is the quinoa power bowls. Great combination of savory and chewy and roasted tomato tang. More than enough for two people to have a reasonably sized meal. And now they have delivery, online ordering, and Apple Pay! read more

Delicious lunch and they have nowait! As we were driving up, my friend said she had never been to a First Watch that didn't have a line. I pulled up my phone and saw they have nowait! Right when I went to click the button to put our name in line it said, no need, there is no wait (I'm totally paraphrasing here). As we pulled into the parking lot, the button popped back up and said there is now a five-minute wait (which literally equated to one group in front of us). I pressed the button to put us in line (I know, we were in the parking lot, but why not!) and it told me I had essentially ten minutes to get there. We walked in and they were already preparing our table. So, maybe in my case nowait saved me a minute, but think about if there was a long line! For someone as impatient as I am, nowait is a lifesaver. But let's talk about the food. Before I didn't eat pork I went to a First Watch in West Virginia (I didn't know it was a chain). I got a side - yes a side - of the cheddar bacon pancake. Holy moly it was huge, it was delicious, and I ate the whole thing. Only later did I come to discover it was over 1,000 calories, and again, I ate it as a side. Well, you are no longer able to make the same mistake as I did, my friends because now they put the calorie count on the menu! I knew that my smoked salmon frittata, while delicious, was also a little over 700 calories. I could have chosen an omelet that was about 150 calories less, but nay, I decided I would inhale my calories at lunch. The takeaway is this is a great place to eat if you're health conscious. If you're not health conscious, this is still a great place to eat because the food is delicious. I love not getting bamboozled into thinking I'm healthy and then consuming a day worth of calories. This location is our lunch place - we work in the area. My standard order is an egg white omelet with smoked ham, Gruyere cheese and fresh herbs - it's like 240 calories! They let me substitute a small fruit cup for toast and it includes a salad of mixed greens. Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and used the Yelp reservation option for the first time. It worked like a charm with only having to wait 5 minutes for a table once we arrived to a very busy restaurant. I like the look of this place with modern wooden furniture with doors that hang from the ceiling. It's very refreshing. Stella, our super friendly server, took our order and served us coffee and a jug of water. The coffee was great tasting, with just the right amount of bite to it. The menu has a lot of unique breakfast and lunch items, although priced at a premium. Stella was kind of enough to point out some of the favorites. We went with the eggs Benedict and avocado toast. Both were presented to us within 15 minutes and were cooked perfectly. A lot of flavor with the avocado toast. Stella occasionally shocked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed--excellent service. My only gripe was the lack of working WiFi. My overall opinion of First Watch is that the food is pretty good but a little pricey and the coffee is not to my taste at all, it was actually pretty awful. I do like the story behind project sunrise helping women owned coffee companies in Columbia but I'm not a fan of the actual coffee. The juice drinks sounded really good but was really watered down.
