The vibe is very quiet on a Monday morning which is expected. However they're all very nice here! The food is very reasonably priced and tastes very good. I got the 2 Eggs with pancake, bacon, and sausage. The pancakes were generously sized and the plate was very filling. Typically pancakes are on the smaller side so this was lovely! The phone ringing was a bit loud but I anticipate it's less noticable when it's busy. The booth seats were a bit deep, when you sit you feel your butt sink down almost like there is a false bottom. I personally didn't mind it but my partner got up a few times and complained of the seating. Regardless, I'll be back for sure! Stop in for breakfast and I have to say that I was pleased with the service and quality of the food. I ordered the breakfast special with hash browns and onions. Wifey had the gyro platter. Pretty Good Cosmos is located in a down-at-heels strip center behind an Arby's. Once inside it is standard diner decor. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The food was up and down. The homemade biscuits were quite good. Scrambled eggs were nice. The ham was a thin slice, but cut from real ham, not deli ham that's pumped full of water. This ham was seared well and had a nice chew. Things went a bit downhill from there. The Raisin French Toast, despite being a thin slice, was still soggy. The grits were poor with a gummy consistency and absolutely no flavor. The addition of lots of butter, salt & pepper made the grits somewhat palatable. Cosmos is a nice place with a homey vibe. I've ordered a dozen different things from Cosmos, from burgers to steaks to breakfasts and have always been happy. My standout favorite is the Cosmo Burger - it's everything you want it to be for the price and has never disappointed. Maybe a little light on salt/flavoring, but nothing you couldn't fix on your own. Their Hungry Man breakfast has a big price tag attached that'll make you hesitate, but it's almost more food than you can eat in a single sitting - the pancakes are massive and could sell me on it on their own. Their souvlaki platter has won over the heart of my mother, who's told me under no uncertain terms to order her one every time I get something here and she'll come pick it up. High praise for someone that really loves their greek food. The only dish I wasn't fully on board with was the fried fish fillet. It was more of a fish steak and even though it was nicely cooked I would have liked a little more breading to fish or for nothing more than the flavor. We stopped by Cosmo's on our way to the airport. This is an unpretentious little place that isn't trying to impress with decor or fancy extras. It is the very best kind of restaurant .. one that offers a good variety of dishes for breakfast and lunch and does each really, really well. We had the Cincinnati chili (chili over spaghetti) and a burger, both were very good. Service isn't super speedy but very friendly and helpful. Prices are decent too. You can tell that Cosmo's has its regulars and it's certainly obvious why. read more

Tried for 1st for breakfast today and we both really enjoyed the food. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were fresh not frozen out of a bag like many places. The prices are super cheap and portions large. Server was good and she checked back frequently for refills and just to see if we were happy with the food. Looking forward to going back to try some of the great lunch specials they have listed. Also, it's strange but no one seems to mention the super cheap prices for breakfast. My wife's meal was $2.95, she doesn't eat more than 2 eggs so it's perfect; we always get upset because we leave food and don't like to waste. read more

French toast 2.95 Half biscuits and gravy w two eggs 3.95 Steak and eggs 7.25 Meat lovers skillet 6.95 Even with tax 22.57 should have been the total. Steak and eggs was the missing meal. She had it re-delivered but charged me another 4.50 since it was steak. When I called again to ask why I was being charged and her response was I could have charged you for the whole thing again. In my short 37 years I have never had a breakfast this amazingly good!!! I had country fried steak & gravy, hash browns, over easy eggs, and white toast. My boyfriend had corn beef hash, hash browns, and over easy eggs with Texas toast. We walked in sat, greeted immediately served our large orange juices. Placed order. We got our food within 7 minutes of ordering. It was hot, perfect and delicious. The hash browns could be eating with nothing added not to crunchy or to soft. Flavor AMAZING!!!! I always was impressed when dining at cosmos off 66 and ulmerton. Last visit my gravy bowl that came with my country fried steak id eaten out of l saw picked up by owner(wife) and taken back to kitchen,not tossed. 3 months later ,today l go again figuring a off day last visit. I got 2 eggs and mashed potatos. Potatos were old. I told waitress young girl she said ok you dont have to pay for them . But today all came weak!!!! Im not going back. Good place to gamble getting sick. All l could think today l paid just under 7.oo for horrible 2 eggs and soured sweet tea. Bread and potatos were stale, and old....nice family.....poor food last couple months. When l went to my car another dinein said way off today hugh!!! Great local eatery. The food is always good. Try their fresh chef salad and their homemade house dressing. Delicious! The owner is a nice guy and appreciates his customers. Stopped in here for lunch after purchasing mattresses at the other end of the strip mall. It's very unassuming, and you'd be forgiven for being a little wary of the food after taking a look at the outside. However, it's pretty good. Small dining room that can feel pretty small if they get too many customers (but I'm not so sure that's a bad thing - if people are willing to pack in here to eat, it should say something), and a little dingy, but the building seems old in general, so I don't think I would blame the owners. Definitely has a mom-and-pop/greasy spoon kinda feel, offering up large portions of daily specials like roasted chicken, meatloaf, pork chops, and burgers. My roasted chicken was better than any i've had recently and my mashed potatoes didn't taste like potato flakes with butter added. My uncle's patty melt was tasty and we all enjoyed the fried shrimp appetizer. I'd go back again, for sure. While not high-brow by any means, it's still some quality food. Cosmos is my go-to breakfast place, the breakfast wrap being my favorite item in their menu. If you feel like eating a home-style breakfast or lunch but you can't or don't want to cook, this is your place to go. Everything in this place is homemade, the veggies are fresh and the meats are great. The cook Carlos is very efficient and most times, depending on how busy the place is, he'll have your food ready within minutes. As a bonus the staff is friendly and make costumers feel welcome. If you have a few extra minutes to spare in your day skip the fast food joints and get yourself some real food at Cosmos, it's worth it. One last thing, they are not open for dinner, just breakfast and lunch. They close mid afternoon, two or three pm. read more
