After 2 Hurricanes I feel the need not only to get out and about, but I want to support the locals. First time at Suzi's Restaurant and from the minute I walked in I was made to feel welcome and well taken care of. I noted some of the other customers were being addressed by their first name and as one left he called out, "bye family, see you tomorrow for breakfast!" This was quickly responded to by, "See you 'name' and have a great day!" I don't know about you, but I needed a welcoming friendly no chain breakfast spot. As for the food I ordered it was good, not extraordinary or special in taste. My California omelette was good in taste, but I'm not a fan of having raw onions in my omelette (to me they should not be raw. Throw the onions in some butter and cook them until soft, then add to omelette. In my opinion it could have been excellent if not for the raw onions and very little seasoning. The home potatoes, fair, needed seasoning, and mine were too greasy, however with some added salt and pepper they were okay, portion was good. The side of 2 pancakes were a generous size and tasted like, well regular pancakes. I would have liked my syrup warm, but that's my personal preference and don't think most people care if the syrup is warm or cold. The coffee, it was coffee, no latte's or expressos here. Overall, the waitresses were welcoming to me, attentive, and food was a generous portion size and good. For the money worth going back. read more

This an old fashioned luncheonette, with round chrome stools at the counter. The menu is good, and they have a white board with specials. We had a great waitress, Patty. She was getting us stuff before we could ask for it. We enjoyed her sense of humor. It felt like home, mostly locals, we were visiting the area for 2 days. We enjoyed our time and food so much we came back the next day. This is good comfort food at very reasonable prices with a great friendly staff. My turkey plate was good (fresh turkey). My wife loved her giant fruit platter with chicken salad. The next day my breakfast was perfect! The pork chops were done exactly the way I like them, juicy and not rubbery. I was shocked, I was expecting 2 thin dried up chops. My home fries and were delicious. The only downside was my wife's BLT wasn't very good, the bread was over toasted, and bacon was too well done. It crumbled when she bit into the sandwich. She took the sandwich apart and ate it without the bread. Aside from that small problem we will definitely be back. We will tell them light toast and not to over cook the bacon. Ha ha no big deal. We have to come back in a few weeks.... This place is so cute and the servers are so kind! I absolutely loved my food and ate every last bite! The omelet was perfectly fluffy and had a good amount of filling. Great little diner for locals. Came w/ family on a mini reunion for Sunday breakfast. All the food was good. The server was on it. The food was all great. Everyone got so much hash browns we had half left. My keto breakfast was huge for 10$. 3 turkey Patties w/ scrambled eggs w/ tomatoes & a 7-fruit side of fruit salad. Awesome! The bustling is a positive experience of customers and servers interacting over whimsical conversations and enjoyment surrounding good food. Always a positive environment and you will feel welcome. Full disclosure, I am a regular and visit at least once per week. My typical order is breakfast, which is typically eggs over medium, home fries, wheat toast, and either bacon or sausage. Occasionally, I get the special with pancakes or French toast, which are just as awesome. Coffee flows like nectar in a bottomless cup with Suzi's name on it. The servers shine best when ordering because they are always ready to help you pick the right things for your taste buds at the best combo, special or menu items at the best price. Negatives are hard to find. The biggest is actually a positive because they do get busy and close parking can fill up at times. But table turnover is quick and there is never a long wait. read more

What was once East Bay Family Restaurant, before that Willow's, is now Suzi's Restaurant. Ownership has changed but it is still in the family of the East Bay Family. After a short closing to "spruce" up the place, it reopened as of December 1st. They are a typical Greek/Albanian family restaurant, which is a good thing. Great food with good value. They are open 7 days a week from 6am-2pm. Offering breakfast and lunch. There are many tempting suggestions for breakfast including "white board specials" I chose a meat lover omelette. 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, green peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese. It was served with home fries, and my choice of rye toast. It was served hot and was delicious. My coffee cup was never allowed to go empty by my very efficient server. On my next visit I'll be checking out the lunch menu, which has numerous salads, burgers, sandwiches, hot platters, and wings. So checkout Suzi's for fast, friendly, good food! read more

This is a locals spot for breakfast and lunch. Its located in a nondescript strip mall. The menu is large and nothing is much more than 6 or 7 bucks. I had the basic breakfast special of eggs, bacon and 2 pancakes. Unlike many of these little spots, coffee is included. Service is spot on. Suzi's is Satisfying Suzi's is a popular breakfast/lunch restaurant. The place is clean, the servers are efficient and nice and the prices are fair. We were there for breakfast and I had the scrambled eggs with French toast and link sausage. I appreciate French toast that is properly cooked and isn't soggy in the middle and this was just right. I mostly come here for to go breakfast since it is right by my job. The stay here are super friendly and the food is really tasty. I like the look of the restaurant as it has this very quaint Diner look and it is always full of people. This would definitely be a good place to come grab breakfast with some friends are family. I've had the veggie omelette and I usually get the Susie slam comes with three types of meat because if I'm going to do low carb then I'm going to get all the bacon I can eat hahaha. They usually are fairly accommodating with substituting some items within their breakfast plates. This is the place that I definitely like to frequent often and I really like how nice and friendly the staff are because some other breakfast places I go to the staff are not accommodating and they are not welcoming. This was a highly recommended restaurant so we thought we'd try it. The front is unassuming, just the way we like it. The waitresses were hopping and we got the last table available. But each time a line formed outside someone left, the table was cleaned and in came the next patrons....in seconds. And the food was fantastic. Don't go here unless you know all the rules. We have been here several times in the past and nowhere does it say that you have to sign in when you walk in. Apparently you do now or the waitress will let you stand there all day and seat people who came in after you. It was just rude and makes me not want to go there again.
