After 2 Hurricanes I feel the need not only to get out and about, but I want to support the locals. First time at Suzi's Restaurant and from the minute I walked in I was made to feel welcome and well taken care of. I noted some of the other customers were being addressed by their first name and as one left he called out, "bye family, see you tomorrow for breakfast!" This was quickly responded to by, "See you 'name' and have a great day!" I don't know about you, but I needed a welcoming friendly no chain breakfast spot. As for the food I ordered it was good, not extraordinary or special in taste. My California omelette was good in taste, but I'm not a fan of having raw onions in my omelette (to me they should not be raw. Throw the onions in some butter and cook them until soft, then add to omelette. In my opinion it could have been excellent if not for the raw onions and very little seasoning. The home potatoes, fair, needed seasoning, and mine were too greasy, however with some added salt and pepper they were okay, portion was good. The side of 2 pancakes were a generous size and tasted like, well regular pancakes. I would have liked my syrup warm, but that's my personal preference and don't think most people care if the syrup is warm or cold. The coffee, it was coffee, no latte's or expressos here. Overall, the waitresses were welcoming to me, attentive, and food was a generous portion size and good. For the money worth going back.

Great neighborhood place to have a wonderful breakfast at a very affordable price, served by an awesome staff!

This an old fashioned luncheonette, with round chrome stools at the counter. The menu is good, and they have a white board with specials. We had a great waitress, Patty. She was getting us stuff before we could ask for it. We enjoyed her sense of humor. It felt like home, mostly locals, we were visiting the area for 2 days. We enjoyed our time and food so much we came back the next day. This is good comfort food at very reasonable prices with a great friendly staff. My turkey plate was good (fresh turkey). My wife loved her giant fruit platter with chicken salad. The next day my breakfast was perfect! The pork chops were done exactly the way I like them, juicy and not rubbery. I was shocked, I was expecting 2 thin dried up chops. My home fries and were delicious. The only downside was my wife's BLT wasn't very good, the bread was over toasted, and bacon was too well done. It crumbled when she bit into the sandwich. She took the sandwich apart and ate it without the bread. Aside from that small problem we will definitely be back. We will tell them light toast and not to over cook the bacon. Ha ha no big deal. We have to come back in a few weeks.... Guess what we are going to try something different from the menu, I'm going ask for 2 pork chops on the side!

This place is so cute and the servers are so kind! I absolutely loved my food and ate every last bite! The omelet was perfectly fluffy and had a good amount of filling. The fruit was super fresh and had a great variety (not all cantaloupe like most places). The biscuit was griddled, so soft, and not dry at all, definitely one of the best biscuits in the area! I would definitely come back here for breakfast any time!

Great little diner for locals. Came w/ family on a mini reunion for Sunday breakfast. All the food was good. The server was on it. The food was all great. Everyone got so much hash browns we had half left. My keto breakfast was huge for 10$. 3 turkey Patties w/ scrambled eggs w/ tomatoes & a 7-fruit side of fruit salad. Awesome! Wife got veggie omelette w/ hash. Nice size for $7. Nice friendly environment w/ all kinds of people talking to other tables. Like a family here.

Although a small place, Suzi's packs a punch with good food and great service. It is a bustling diner where everyone is welcomed with a rousing "welcome in" as you come through door. The ambiance is a diner offering tables, booths, and a counter with stools that overlooks the heart of the machine necessary to meet every customer's needs. The bustling is a positive experience of customers and servers interacting over whimsical conversations and enjoyment surrounding good food. Always a positive environment and you will feel welcome. Full disclosure, I am a regular and visit at least once per week. My typical order is breakfast, which is typically eggs over medium, home fries, wheat toast, and either bacon or sausage. Occasionally, I get the special with pancakes or French toast, which are just as awesome. Coffee flows like nectar in a bottomless cup with Suzi's name on it. The servers shine best when ordering because they are always ready to help you pick the right things for your taste buds at the best combo, special or menu items at the best price. Negatives are hard to find. The biggest is actually a positive because they do get busy and close parking can fill up at times. But table turnover is quick and there is never a long wait.

My wife and I have eaten there on several occasions and we find it a real joy to be able to go to a little family restaurant and the employees being able to speak and thank you for coming also the food is wonderful and very good portions. We find Suzi's to be an exceptional restaurant. read more

You can't go wrong at Suzi's! Breakfast is phenomenal... From their various omelettes, eggs Benedict, and corned beef hash everything is delicious and made to order! Great burgers, soups, and Philly cheesesteak( my favorite) Her prices are phenomenal, considering the cost of fast food restaurants, you get quality food for a lower price. The service is quick & the staff is friendly the atmosphere is inviting! read more

The food here is always very, very good. Best Breakfast for the $ in the area w/o a doubt. Diner type food nothing "real fancy" but cooked right. After reading a great review on this little gem, we had to try it out.... it did not disappoint! I had 2 eggs over medium, bacon, home fries, rye toast and side of avocado. Husband had the greek omelette, home fries, rye toast. The greek omelette came with tzatziki sauce on the side, a nice touch. Coffee was good, hot, and constantly filled. Wait staff was pleasant, and our food came out fast. All signs point to Suzi's as our new favorite breakfast place! read more

Stopped here for breakfast this morning. The staff is super friendly which I love this vibe they treat you like you are sitting at your family's table. The food was amazing had a lot of my childhood favorites that I grew up with. Have the famous chop steak it's delicious. It Will is our new spot to stop on our way out to the beach. read more

We saw that this restaurant had recently changed hands and decided to visit it (party of six). The food was hot fresh and tasty and was served up quickly. The waitress was attentive and handled some food sensitivity issues well. We will be back! read more

This is my 5 th time at this place. First we sat in a booth and a larger gentleman Sat down behind me and the back of my seat the booth kept moving back-and-forth back-and-forth with every move. Then we order breakfast the bacon was barely cooked and so fatty. I only got to have 2 cups of coffee. read more

Second visit. Just as amazing! Love the 2-2-2 with 2eggs, 2 bacon & 2 full slices of french toast AND coffee or tea for $5.99. Best french toast ever!! Hands down best breakfast in Largo! This place is my husband's new favorite local breakfast spot. Great food, (and big servings) fast service and reasonably priced. My husband had the Irish omelet. He said the portion size was excellent and it tasted great! $5.99 for their breakfast special included coffee or tea. Definitely a good value! We will be back! read more

My first experience with Largo fine dining was a success thanks to this fine eatery. I initially ordered steak and eggs and then I go outside to smoke. Waitress comes out telling me that the steak wasn't up to par and they'd substitute country fried instead. Great experience would recommend to anyone that wants food. read more

Just an amazing experience overall. Amazing food, I had the grilled cheese with a chocolate milk. All amazing, fries were perfect. You can't beat the service here. Everyone is SO incredibly friendly and makes you feel like family the second you walk in. Nothing but smiles and good vibes at this restaurant. Overall an amazing experience, and I highly recommend going for some good breakfast or lunch! I wish I could give it more stars than just 5! read more

I like the clam chowder on Fridays, chicken Orzo soup on Sunday and Grouper fingers or fish sandwich anytime! Their salads are wonderful with fresh components every time. The prices are relatively inexpensive, but the food is difficult to beat. We eat here all the time with all the regulars ( retirees)! The only have breakfast and lunch until 2:00 PM, Ask For Lydia, our favorite? But all the waitress's are good and Suzi's a wonderful Chef. read more

This is now my favorite breakfast spot in Tampa Bay! IFantastic, classic American food. The portions are big, yet nothing on the menu cost more than $10 (at the time of this writing). Super friendly staff. The chain restaurants got nothing on Suzi! I found this place by searching "breakfast near me" on Apples Maps app. I brought 2 friends the very next day after my first visit, now they love it too. read more

I love this little diner, the staff and owner Suzie are so wonderful. This is our go to break fast place but I have had many lunch items here as well. The steak sandwiches are delicious and my hubby always get the steak and eggs. The steak always comes out perfect temp of medium rare. The place has done a great job of remodeling the inside as it as a dump before she bought it. I went there once and it was awful. I'm so happy that Suzie has made this place clean, friendly and quality food w/ great prices. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Stopped in for lunch and must say it was amazing. Ordered the gyro and it was delicious. Service was as good as you could possibly ask for and the prices were fair. I'm here for work for only a week and I'm already planning my trip back to try the meatloaf. Can't wait. read more

Since we moved to this area, we have had 4 meals at Suzi's. They do a great breakfast. They have $5.99 specials, too. The servers are extremely nice and Suzi is great. The restaurant is very clean. read more

Highly recommend! Open 6 to 2 for breakfast and lunch. Food is always hot. I like breakfast, hubby likes lunch. We go in around 1045 and both get what we like. Waitstaff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. Used to be east bay family restaurant. They havent changed the sign near the street yet. read more

If you're looking for a good reasonably priced breakfast and lunch place this is it. Nothing fancy or frilly here just good homemade style food and old fashioned service. The place is clean and well run with the owner onsite. Everyone is friendly and personable at this cozy diner. Conveniently located on East Bay near the country club and Hungry Howies. The chili-cheeseburger is a family favorite. read more

I have a soy oil allergy. Let me be blunt, I vomit when anything is cooked in soy. 99% of the time "vegetable oil" is soy. Been dealing with this for over 10 years. I ordered an omelette & dry toast (because margarine is soy oil). I asked for my food to be cooked separately with no oil. The server said "we are really busy & don't have time to accommodate you. I will have to check with a supervisor." SERIOUSLY! YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO ACCOMMODATE AN ALLERGY!!!!!!! I was pissed. Asked for manager at the counter. Told her what was said to me. Owner came & apologized. So omelette comes out & cheddar cheese is in a side dish cold from frig. I took plate up & asked why cheese was not melted in the omelette. You know what lady said to me.... "well it might have soy oil in it so I didn't want it in the omelette to make you sick." Her tone was very condescending. AND AFTER ALL OF THIS I still gave them a chance. Bill comes & I was upcharged for "extras". Should of walked out. I did the noble thing paid the bill & even paid a tip. Place SUCKS & I WILL NEVER GO BACK. DO NOT GIVE THESE JERKS YOUR MONEY. read more

First time patron based on reviews. The food was great but the service was by far unacceptable. Never asked if I needed anything after food delivery causing me to directly ask for butter. Never asked if the gentleman needed more coffee...this girl did SUZIES no favors. Please visit SUZIES...just demand excellence. read more

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. You feel like family from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you leave. The staff takes the time to go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Not to mention, the food is absolutely delicious. I love how they all remember our names and makes our sweet Emma smile every time we visit. This is hands down one of the best places we've found since we've moved here two years ago! Our whole family looks forward to our weekly visits. Thank you ladies for all being so amazing! read more

This is a great neighborhood dinner. I have had three breakfasts and a lunch here and they were all great! The food is fresh and tasty with generous portions. I especially liked the bacon and the fruit cups with breakfast. Omelette's with avocado are very good. Waitress's are excellent. Very friendly. Best of all the prices are a real value. Loved this place before changed hands and was very pleased with first visit under new management but next visit rates the 2 stars due to waitress calling everyone "sweetie" and I hate people I don't know calling me pet names and bacon was almost burned. Very disappointed but will not give up on this place just yet in hopes today was not the norm for new owner. read more

Deb had the tuna sashimi, which was also really good with just a little spicy kick. I had the Green Wing Oregon Pinot Noir and really liked it. Fruity, not too dry, and went great with the burger. Deb had an espresso martini that she really enjoyed. Taylor was our server and was great--very friendly and gave us some good suggestions. Good food, good drinks and really good service. We'll definitely be back.

Rizo's also has a 3 page Dinner Menu (Dinner starts at 3:00pm) that has lots of cool and unusual dishes. The first thing I noticed was an industrial strength orange juicer behind the counter. Freshly squeezed juice is almost always a sign of commitment to quality. I ordered the House Skillet ($14.99), which has all the great skillet ingredients: Bacon, Sausage, Ham, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. Plus 2 eggs any style, country potatoes, and your choice of 2 pancakes or toast. It was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. Easily the best skillet I've had since moving to Florida. I also ordered a side order of Bacon ($4.00 for 3 large slices of bacon) they were crunchy but not chewy, and with NO grease on the plate. Dave W cajoled our waitress Teutta (A.K.A Tutta) to get him a baked potato (which is on the dinner menu). I quickly took advantage of this early dinner offering to get some fresh homemade Guacamole and Chips ($7.95) from the dinner appetizer menu to go. Rizo's has recently gotten their beer and wine license so I had to get a 6oz glass of Spanish Chardonnay ($8.99). The house wine was crisp, and paired well with the skillet. Rizo's is also working on getting the liquor license to have a full bar. A fantastic meal with food to go for $45 with nice tip. This local owned restaurant is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!
