**GOAT ALERT** The bartender was trying to talk me into a Caesar salad, and I was lukewarm about it. Just another Caesar salad. He said the one here is different from anywhere else I've ever been and boy oh boy was he right. The Caesar salad here is neck and neck with Jay Luigi for best Caesar salad in all of Tampa Bay. I freaking loved it and would seriously go here again and just order double Caesar salads and that's it. It's really that good. I also had the $23 Burrata and it was great too. I definitely need to come back here again and try more food items. For drinks, I had a $20 Crimson Heat. It was pretty good, I wish it had a stronger burnt mezcal taste, but I liked it. Also, had a $22 Espresso Martini. I liked it a lot too. I would rate it a 8.5/10. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and super huge. There is a bar at the front in the middle and a bar in the way back. I actually appreciate the fact the hostess told me to take off my hat. I like classy places like this. I will certainly be back with my dad as he loves Caesar salads.

One of the best fine dining experiences in the Tampa Bay Area! Every dish was the perfect bite! For starters we had the Whipped Ricotta, Focaccia, Burrata, Meatballs, and the Baby Gem Caesar Salad. Every dish was amazing but the meatballs and Caesar really impressed me with flavor! For mains we had the Radiatore Allá Vodka, Beef Cheek Tortelli, Lacquered Brick Chicken, and the Crispy Fingerling Potato's. Let me tell you GET the chicken it was my favorite dish! It was so moist and the sauce paired perfectly with the potato's. The entire menu is definitely shareable and the ambiance was unmatched! Our server was so impressive he was able to remember every single dish we ordered without writing a single thing down, needless to say we were very impressed. A lot of detail went into this restaurant and it was such a nice vibe. I will definitely be back to dine at Elliot Aster very soon.

Extremely Decent value for the prices although we didn't try the steaks... but the pull apart bread, pastas, & whipped ricotta were fantastic. Our server, Michael was a level 2 sommelier which was so helpful with the extensive wine list. The art deco ambiance is wonderfully upscale, as well as the attentive service from the assist waiter and waiter. The menu runs across a large spectrum from the meatballs to a crudo (I didn't get the chance to try!) so there is truly something for every palate.

The best version of an Aperol spritz that I have ever had. I took a photo of the ingredients.

If you want absolute perfection from a dining experience, please make a reservation and dine here. From the moment you enter you're treated with kindness, and you have no choice but to be mesmerized by the Gatsy era decor. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants from top to bottom. Enough about that, I had the 8 ounce filet and it was the best I've ever had. My first bite will forever be etched into my memory. Thank you Elliott Aster for an unforgettable experience.

Came here with some friends and this place is very nice! Ambiance is elegant. Service is great. Food comes out slowly but they were delicious. We sat in the lounge section so we got a Cesar salad which was a huge portion and was one of the best I've ever had! The artichoke dip was okay- a bit salty.we got pasta to go and the duck pappardelle was sooo good! Lots of duck meat and the noodles were tender and delicious. I would definitely Come back!

Food was impeccable, atmosphere just as good, and service even better. We came for a lunch date and didn't realize the menu was limited, but they were able to accommodate us with a dinner menu item that was within reason to prepare. Lovely experience, highly recommend!

Hey everyone! As your go-to realtor from Palm Harbor, I'm always on the hunt for awesome spots around the area to share with my favorite people (that's you!). Hubby and I finally hit up Elliott Aster at the Vinoy in St. Pete for date night, and wow--it's now my top pick when I want to feel fancy without the stuffy vibes. The place is gorgeous: moody lighting, velvet booths, and that classic Vinoy charm with a cool modern twist. Feels like a 1920s speakeasy but way more chill and welcoming. We started with the Burrata--creamy, dreamy, and gone in seconds. Then the **Beef Cheek Tortelli**--melt-in-your-mouth goodness with a rich sauce. So good! Hubby loved the Wood fired Filet--smoky from the wood fire, juicy, and perfectly done. We shared the Radiatore Alla Vodka too--creamy with just the right kick. And we couldn't leave without the decadent chocolate torte for dessert. Rich, not too sweet, total winner. The vibe inside is romantic and fun and the bar area sets the perfect tone right when you walk in. Service was spot-on--attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and it's worth the drive from Palm Harbor. If you're looking for a special night out (or just want to treat yourself), go check out Elliott Aster. You won't regret it! Who's going next? Let me know--I might crash your table Happy dining, friends! Bridgie

It's a beautiful room and great service but I expected more from the food. We started out with a bang with the pull apart bread and crudo. However I was not a fan of the Sea Bream fish which was supposed to be similar to Branzino. I'm not a fan of fish skin so I had to flip it over to the non skin side which then made it hard to eat the salad on top. Branzino is a lighter tasting and flakier fish. The maitake mushrooms, as a side, also didn't have the taste I was hoping for. The atmosphere was delightful and again the service was excellent. The menu is enticing so I may need to work the menu better. We were a group of 4 and I seem to be the only one disappointed, so keep that in mind.

Dining at Elliot Aster inside the beautiful Vinoy is an experience that feels both elegant and relaxed, the perfect spot for a special night out. Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The beef tartare was a standout to start with the grilled sourdough. For the main course, the filet was cooked flawlessly, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The broccolini was simple yet elevated, charred just enough and seasoned perfectly to complement the steak. The sides deserve their own spotlight: the Parmesan French fries were crispy, savory with truffle sauce on the side. We ended with the apple crisp gelato, and it was so good! Between the upscale ambiance, attentive service, and exceptional food, Elliot Aster delivers a wonderful dining experience .

My daughters treated me to a celebratory dinner at Elliot Aster, located in the beautiful Vinoy Hotel, and it was one of the most stunning dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest valet attendant. Walking through the hotel, I felt the luxury and elegance immediately. The restaurant itself was gorgeous, intimate, and elegant. Our server, Paula delivered impeccable service. Every single dish we ordered was exquisitely prepared and tasted heavenly good. Our drinks were on point as well. Yes, it was a splurge, but every penny was worth it. It was the perfect way for my kids to celebrate me, and the experience will be a memory I will always cherish.

Talk about absolutely stunning decor and roaring 20s vibes. Gorgeous lighting, jazz playing, beautiful setting with classy but soothing interior! Definitely a highlight of my 2025 year end! The service is impeccable, exactly what you expect from top tier dining, from being seated to the actual service. Oh and be sure to make reservations in advance even though it feels like they have endless seating, I promise you, every table gets filled. The food, the beautiful delicious food, it truly does satisfy any needs you have with a broad range of selections and generous portion sizes, you will not be disappointed! Also the cocktails here are sure to impress! This has now made my "a must check out, when in st pete" list and will be recommending it to others for special occasions!

Pros and Cons! Pros: The restaurant is beautiful, the potato puree is amazing, the steak was great, the artichoke dip was some of the best I've had. Cons: I wasn't too big of the Caesar salad. The croutons were very chewy (maybe that's how they are supposed to be?) but also they put little crumbles throughout the salad so it had little crunches that I wasn't expecting and wasn't a fan of. The espresso martinis were good but definitely more espresso than anything. The service was slow and we couldn't find the waitress at times. I'm not sure that's on purpose so you can enjoy the time there or not. Definitely a place I would go back to though.

We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back!

A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.
