We've been enjoying Breakfast/Brunch here for a few years, the food is ALWAYS consistently GREAT! The quality ingredients and portion sizes along with the creative recipes to add a few European choices makes them stand out for your traditional Breakfast Restaurants. The service seems to be a lot of family and friends atmosphere. Always cheerful, prompt and courteous. The restaurant itself is IMMACULATELY Clean! We drive out of our way to dine here. Highly Recommended!

On our way to spend a few days in St. Pete Beach, we were looking for a breakfast spot and Egg Haven came up. Pulled into a small parking lot. Were encouraged by the fact that it wasn't empty. Indication the food is good. We were seated immediately. It has a diner vibe and I love diners. I was even more hyped when I caught sight of the giant orange juice press! My husband, as per usual, ordered chicken and waffles. If it's on the menu, he's getting it. I ordered a western skillet with 2 eggs over easy. While we waited for our meal, the table across from us got there food. And it was a beautiful, crispy fried catfish!!! My husbands other favorite food. Apparently it was on the specials menu by the door that we, like rookies, totally missed. We promised we there would be another visit for the fish. The waffles were fluffy on the inside & crispy on the outside. The chicken was actually tenders. They were good. My western skillet was alot of food. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I lamented that the ham was diced up so small that it was barely there. The potatoes could have used some seasoning, maybe some paprika and definitely some more salt. The service was efficient and friendly. Next time we are nearby we would return.

Date of visit: March 30,2025 Have been driving by this place for some time, used to be a I-Hop at one time. The wife and I were looking for a new place for breakfast and we both agreed. Parking was tight but found a spot. As we entered we could it was busy but we were seated immediately. Place looked well kept and organized. After we sat I noticed the "The Juicer" and knew we wanted the orange juice. our drink order was taken and I looked over the menu. And I saw what I wanted, country Fried steak and eggs. Wife had biscuits and gravy. Now see from some reviews they were upset over the price of the OJ. Well this isn't some frozen watered down made from concentrate juice this is squeezed to order "FRESH". If you didn't taste the difference, we sure could. We did have a little wait for our food but when it arrived it was hot. The gravy was top notch. Eggs over medium and the home fries too. Now the wife says the gravy had a sweet taste to it, all I know it was great over the steak. As we were leaving it really picked up, standing room only. Says something. Give it a try for breakfast and lunch only, peace.

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Huge menu of eggs, omelettes, crepes, pancakes etc.

This spot has a solid breakfast. I have been here twice but today I wanted something light, not the heavy waffles and pancakes etc. Now they do have those options but I just was not in that kind of mood. I got the Turkey sausage, grits and scrambled eggs. The grits are always good here, smooth, never hard or stiff and I love that because some places mess that up. The meat is always cooked well, bacon comes out perfectly. The service is always quit and they are super sweet. I can't believe how fast the food comes out even for large or specialty orders. This is definitely a breakfast go to spot.

The food here is very tasty and the portions are great! My tomato slices weren't the most ripe, but that could just be because they're not in season yet. The eggs were cooked well and the home fries are a perfect texture. The atmosphere isn't anything special, it kind of feels like an IHOP. The service was pretty quick and our server was attentive.

This is a great alternative breakfast and lunch spot. I ordered the meat lovers skillet and was truly amazed at the amount of meat. Lots of bacon sausage and ham. Could not finish it had to take half of it home for another meal pretty good for $15.99.

Loved the ambiance and the food was amazing. My server was very sweet. I treated myself to a solo breakfast while I was in the area and now I look forward to bringing my kids here for breakfast one morning

We made a last-minute stop for breakfast before heading back home to Fort Myers, and I must say the place was packed, BUT we sat right away! The food was quite good. The service was outstanding despite how busy it was. The only downside was the condition of the restaurant outside. I say that not knowing how affected they were by the recent hurricanes as it looked like they may be doing some construction too. I hope they spruce it up outside.

Beware- roaches. Unfortunately I am unable to provide a full review of the establishment because when we visited on Sunday, April 20, 2025 (Easter) around 0821 hours, we had to leave almost immediately. We were seated and greeted quickly and our drink orders taken. The waitress brought us our drinks and I needed some time with the menu since it was our first time there. My husband commented on how clean it appeared when we walked in. He regretted that when he felt something crawling up his leg. He shook his leg and looked down. I did also. A full sized cockroach came off his leg and fell to the floor next to his shoe. He tried stepping on it but it scurried off in the middle of the floor in full view of anyone who looked down. The waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order and my husband said no. He told her we weren't eating there because a roach just crawled up his leg and asked if we needed to pay for the drinks. She said no and we got up and left. She did not seem shocked by this happening nor offer an apology. I know it's Florida and bugs happen but I'm not having cockroaches crawling on me while we eat. We will not be returning. It's a shame because the menu looked good and they get great reviews. I added the only photo I took before we left (it's of the menu).

Best diner in St.Pete, in my opinion! It feels like a flash back to the 80s. Great 80s tunes playing, a vibes of an old dinner and great breakfast foods! What really puts them over the top is the attention to detail. A fresh squeezed orange juice machine, a strip warmer, the options for flavored creamer for your coffee, the addition of the French toast with every meal. It's pricey but for what you get, it's worth it! We noticed a bunch of bees hovering around the sign and mentioned it to our waitress. She said they had someone come out and see about moving them safely and it turns out the bees hive goes all the way down the leg of the sign so it's pretty impossible to move them. They let them stay because they don't harm anyone. Super cool of them! Let the bees stay!

Good solid diner food with that old iHop vibe. Clean and cute (just a bit untidy) when we arrived late on a Saturday after what I'm sure was a busy morning. I had the Hash Stack and it was really good despite the odd choice of using Italian sausage instead of breakfast sausage. Not sure if this was by design or if someone just grabbed the wrong sausage crumbles. It was fine for me but for someone like my husband who doesn't care for the "fennel-ness" of Italian sausage it would have been a deal breaker. Hubby had the Meat Lovers Omelet and all of the things (including my cinnamon French toast) with a side of gravy (which BTW is made from breakfast sausage??!). All were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We aren't down this way often but would definitely return!

Great experience with a twist!…read more Food 8.0 Vibe 8.9 Service 8.7 Overall 8.4 This place definitely has his own theme and vibe and it sticks to it. A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.

This was my first trip to Allelo, a Mediterranean-Aegean restaurant…read more I was in town for business and arrived solo. I was greeted by Carolina, a very confident and friendly hostess. I told her I wanted to sit outside so I could have dinner and read a book with a glass of wine. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and suggested I go to the bar. Once inside, I was greeted by Corey, who entertained me with a vibrant wine list and a quick tasting before selecting a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. As my wine was being poured in a delightfully elegant wine glass... Carolina told me my table was ready. They put me in the perfect spot for people watching. My server was Rachel, who shared the night's special offerings with great aplomb. I am not usually a Wagyu person, but I thought why not, yolo. I paired it with the cauliflower. But to kick things off,..I did the focaccia. The meal was so superb. I immediately texted a friend of mine and said we had to come back the following evening. Again with the Wagyu and the focaccia. Sue me, I'm a glutton for delight. My friend had the seafood linguine.... Which in keeping with the theme was exemplary. Our server for night two was Kyle... Who anticipated I ever need. We had a variety of martinis and ended the evening with a fancy coffee that included a rock sugar spoon. This is my new go to when I visit St. Petersburg. And did I mention Rachel gave me an awesome book recommendation? Thanks girl! If you're looking for somewhere really cool to go for curated cocktails, and exceptional food...This is the place.
