Had a great time celebrating a friends birthday brunch here. This is my first time at this location, but I've been to a different Five Bucks in downtown St Pete. The prices are really great and they have daily specials which is a great perk! I ordered the mac and cheese melt; it was described as being world famous so I had to see what that was about. Warning: this sandwich gets very MESSY. But it is DELICIOUS. The mac and cheese is made with shells and a white cheese sauce and it was perfectly cooked. The sandwich is also layered with pulled pork that paired perfectly with the mac and cheese all between two slices of Texas toast. The flavors were so yummy and the sandwich had a perfect bite each time. The customer service was also great. Our server was kind and checked with us every once in a while to make sure everything was good. It was busy for a Saturday around noon. The vibe is casual sports bar with several tvs showing several games going on. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant and will be back to try more items. read more

We usually got to Seminole location but we were close by so stopped for lunch. I had the $5 Long Island and it was pretty good!! Hubby got the pina colada and it didn't taste like any alcohol in it at all. I asked the waitress if it was virgin. She said no. She said we could buy a floater but the drink was $12 already!! That was our only complaint tho. We had the Sweet Thai chili wings and they were crispy and juicy. Love the sauce. Blue cheese is ok, kinda runny. We had a buffalo blue wrap and it was delicious. Nice hot sauce spice to it. Of course tater tots extra crispy which are the best there. Overall it was a great meal! read more

Wings were perfect we went to wrong one we absolutely love the Seminole location but this one not so good.staff was average not perky or as attentive as Seminole location. My water cup filthy and something floating in it. My burger was over done seemed like burnt in spots the lettuce was falling off burger shouldn't be shredded lettuce on them tomatoes were hard not ready for table yet. Fries were ok nothing to rave about needed salt. Go to Seminole location for best experience! Bathroom was disgustingly dirty too. Also I couldn't get my receipt onto my account! read more

I will start with 2 days ago it was 5 stars, wanted to come back and see if it is still rated that high. Most people that review never show up again so you have no idea. When I entered I was greeted by someone drunk falling off a bar stool backwards onto the floor. Seems Friday night at this location is eye opening. Not a family friendly spot at 9pm. The service is very friendly however very slow. The food is consistent as last time. Just seems on Friday night you should look for another place if you don't want drama. read more

We love the place. We have been there quite a few times. My husband love the nachos and the cold beer. I have tried the burgers, salads, and the Mac and cheese melt.. We have never had a bad meal there. The food is always fresh and hot. The waitresses are super friendly and always pleasant with all of us. You can't go wrong if you go in to have a drink and grab an appetizer or a bite to eat. The prices are very reasonable also. read more

Will not go back. Smash burgers was pink after we asked for it to be well done. Brittany put the fries on a saucer and took the burger back to the kitchen. Waited almost 10 to 15 minutes for the new burger. It still was not cooked properly. Imagine our surprise when they tried to charge us for 2 smash burgers basket. Never got so much as an apology. Brittany even said "i'm going to take that off your bill". Ha ha. She didn't. Not even a complimentary drink. Drinks were very weak even after asking for a "floater". Very disappointed. I understand things happen, however, it's how you handle things. There was no communication from any kitchen staff, or a manager on duty. Poor business practices. read more

Waited impatiently for this location to open, but it definitely was worth the anticipation. The porch, outside bar, huge inside bar, communal table seating, TVs, and table seating all lend to a fun time. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. The menu and drink prices are very competitive. We ordered the Big Fish Sandwich fried (can be broiled instead), which is a mild white fish. It is served with shredded lettuce and tomato on a toasted Brioche bun. Tartar side on the side. All handhelds are served with your choice of crispy French fries or tater tots. Very tasty and just $9.99! We were disappointed that there were no craft beers on tap, so my guy opted for an ice cold PBR (tribute to his long ago college days). I ordered a cocktail. FBD did an outstanding job with this additional location. The Drinkery is designed to be fun, roomy, and inviting (and it succeeds). Nice sports bar, lots of TVs, decent menu selection. At times it's very loud, but that's to be expected. At times the cigarette smoke from the outside bar overwhelms us inside but we get that too. We discovered their smoked pastrami sandwich. Best in town!! Ratio of meat to bread exceeded husband's expectations. So when The Bolts or The Bucs are playing it's our go-to bar + sandwich. Every time my husband and I drive by, we say we want to check out the food. Today was the day. We were seated immediately and waited for someone to take our drink order. After fifteen minutes, it became obvious that our waitress was more interested in chatting up the young men at the table behind us, then actually coming to our table. She talked to them for over fifteen minutes. My husband asked to speak to the manager and was told they "had stepped out for a minute." We then left. We won't be back. New place. Very lively and tons of people flocking to this place. Its theme is cowboy saloon but they play disco rap inside. Kinda crazy but honestly it works. Haha. The food had some issues but they are new so will definitely give them another try. Fish and chips not a favorite. It was small pieces of mushy fish. Fries just normal no seasoning so kinda boring. I ordered blackened shrimp tacos with chili Thai sauce. You get two tacos. They were missing sauce so totally dry. Got some sauce so definitely improved but pretty skimpy on the shrimp LOTS of lettuce. Not sure we would order either one of those again. The neighbors got a steak quesadilla. They loved it and said steak was nice and tender. They also got pork Mac and cheese sliders. Also a hit so recommend those two. We will be back to try other things on the menu. Well, one popular Pinellas company at least got replaced with another popular one. This has replaced Pete and Shorty's, and the transformation looks great! Nice flooring, all new tables, and wood plank walls. Menu is apps, burgers, tacos, sandwiches/wraps, tacos, salads, and mac and cheese bowls. Right now, everything on the menu is $7-$13. Drafts are PBR, Twisted tea, Coors, and Busch light. A lot of canned beers are 16 ounces. It's opening weekend and it is expectedly busy but staff is doing great. There is more seating now, especially outside. There are many more TVs too. Nice looking place, full bar with specialty long islands and margaritas on the menu. Beer bucket prices vary by the beer in the buckets. read more

Food was great! Drink deals were good too, no complaints about either of those. However, the hostess was very rude when we walked in... granted we came in at 1:30pm on a Sunday (during football season) and when we asked for a table she remarked with, "nothings available, we have no tables for you." we found a 6 top that only 2 men were at and asked to join which graciously they accepted. When we got the notification that our table was ready we went back up the host stand to let her know to which she responded "we tried calling twice and nobody responded... but yeah we can seat you." It was super loud inside with it being football sunday and all the games on and people cheering and whatnot... just pretty rude in my opinion. We literally had to inquire about the wait list, it wasn't a suggestion or an option. After we got seated our server Hayley was very rude. Actually don't think I saw one smile from her the entire time. Semi-attentive, but like I said just seemed like she really didn't want to be there. In the future would probably visit Duffs or Hattricks or Whiskey Wings simply for a more welcoming environment. read more

First off I will say you will notice how loud it is and it is loud music people talking not that that's bad thing. This was my first time at the five bucks drinkery on Park boulevard. My lady ordered the nachos with chicken I believe it was they were okay but they used sour cream as the creamer I believe or to give it the illusion that it was cream of the way they put it on they were okay regular nachos you can get better somewhere else. I got the ultimate steak sandwich it did have all of the ingredients that a Philly cheese steak would have in Philadelphia when I was a kid except for the sweet peppers it was okay. If you are going to want to order more than two times get it all now they are prompt when you walk in and grab a seat to take your order and they are prompt bringing your order that will be the last time you probably see them until you get their attention but we didn't have a bad experience there food is okay service was what it was but if you want to go out and have some drinks and some food talk loud and listen to some music hey that's the spot. They also have outdoor seating but it's too damn hot for that. Definitely the spot for a quick bite to eat no doubt we'll go back sorry no pics we were too hungry read more

Love the food, have brought many of my employees for lunch or order lunch from this location BUT I wish the bartenders/servers were more service oriented. Had knowledge of repeating back orders, confirming to go orders are accurate, etc. I have spent at least of $300 on solely the spicy steak burritos, always my go to, always ask for side of bayou sauce on side and have paid everytime for the side and have NOT ONCE was it with my order. Small things that would make this place a lot better but I don't see that changing. Just upsetting. You look forward to the lunch break and the food and then of course everytime no sauce.
