    $6 Cheeseburger Lunch Special
    Luis S.

**** Review 139 **** If you love a local, hole-in-the-wall bar then this the place for you! They offer a $6 lunch special M-F, and breakfast menu on the weekends. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is fun and friendly; the locals love to joke around and you can see why it's so easy to become a regular. The beers are cold, the wings are amazing, and the burgers are delicious! The inside bar has 2 pool tables, a few tv's and great music. The outside is large, with another full bar, and you can see the kitchen. This place is so good, I stopped in 3 times in one week. Enjoy!

Super chill, fun place to spend the evening. Warm, local vibes. Great food; large portions and fair prices. The bartenders are welcoming and chatty. The road isn't too loud. Pretty landscaping with nice trees and lots of cool plants outside.

This is a vintage St. Pete spot from the pre hipster era. Find a roomy outdoor area in the rear, with ample seating as well as bar seats. There is also a small indoor area located in front right off MLK. Live music on weekends is a nice touch. Service is good. The kitchen is open to the air. My blackened mahi mahi bites app was juicy and tasty, paired with tartar sauce. Drinks are heavy pours I had a few house cabs and they were nicely filled. I think their wings are notable, and there are a lot of various burgers on the menu. Plenty of parking makes getting in and out very easy. This is a nice and relaxing locals spot.

two cars parked in a parking lot

My wife and I have always ate here. We came here and noticed a new brewery so we went across the street to have a beer before we ate at sunset grille. When we came back 15 minutes later our car was towed. Apparently both places are fighting with each other and having customers cars towed. I know sunset grille is getting a kickback from American tow force. This is disgraceful., I would have spent more money at sunset grille. But now I will never go here again. Hope it was worth it. Also the tow away signs are posted low and when a vehicle is parked in front of the sign, you can not see it. I will never spend another dime at this dump.

**** Review 170 ****…read more This place has become a regular for me and it's all because of the wings. They are THE BEST wings in St. Pete hands down! Crispy, juicy, tender, saucy deliciousness. If you just want some of the best wings you've ever had then you need to stop by. But, wings is just one of the items that are great. Their burgers are second to none! So many options, with so many toppings. Burgers are HUGE, juicy, well seasoned. Everything from tenders to peanut butter on a burger....you have to try it! Hot dogs are good too, they're fried so you get a nice crisp snap with every bite. Their sides are always delicious and great beer selection. And everything is reasonably priced for being in St Pete. This place is narrow, but long with seating in the back for larger parties, so it can get crowded. Staff is always really nice and ready to give you recommendations. If you're looking for a great night of wings, burgers and beers with your friends then this is your place.

We love the food and beer at The Burg Bar & Grill west of downtown St. Pete FL!…read more We have previously enjoyed their well-made Chicago Dogs and craft beer. This time (Apr 2026) we started with a creamily delicious ice-cold nitro beer. It was Milk Bone stout, locally crafted, toffee-flavored and lightly sweet from lactose. Pinellas Ale Works says it's almost a cafe con leche :-). It looks like they serve a larger pour of nitro-Guinness, if you like. Y'know, small nitro bubbles (around 25% to 30% CO2) create a smooth mouth-feel and, to me, seem much easier to imbibe than most beers' carbonation (100% CO2). Many places don't put in the extra equipment to serve nitro beers, so Thank You to The Burg! Their eat-in special is different every weekday. On this Wednesday (Apr 2026), it was $2 off their Cuban. Thin tender flavorful ham, pork, and salami, lightly bite-y Swiss cheese, and bright tart pickles, with plain yellow mustard & mayo. All pressed into hot bread. Perfectly savory and delicious! Except ... It wasnt Cuban bread, or any crusty bread, it was a hoagie roll :-( The bread wasnt even toasted! Hey! Mostly-excellent Burg, This is Tampa Bay, home of Cuban sandwiches! Do it right! Dunno if it was just an off-day bread-wise? My nearly-perfect Burg, please tweak this one thing. Yet they still earned that 5th star with their freshly hand-made very good lightly-seasoned crispy crispy Burg chips. We live for crunch! And you can upgrade the side to black-beans and rice, so, yeah, on target :-) And they let us go slightly off-menu with a BLT, which on the menu is part of a soup and sandwich combo. Lots of hot thin crispy bacon, sweet fresh tomatoes and lettuce, on lightly toasted bread. Very satisfying. The Burg Bar & Grill is pleasantly relaxed with a nicer-than-divey feel. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick with that cold cold beer! The food is only a Cuban-roll away from Perfect :-)

Great location, good parking, clean, perfect cheesesteak place and a very accommodating owner. We went straight in on standard Philly Cheesesteaks, and gotta say - they were stellar. In fact, I liked the Cheesesteak here better than the one at Delco's, which is rated as one of the very best in the Tampa area. They've got the Philly staples like egg and peppers, as well as burgers and dogs. Great selection of sodas and Italian ice, as well as really nice seating options outdoors. Highly recommend!

It was closing in on one o'clock and I was getting a bit hungry, needed to go somewhere new for my first review of the year. Had been downtown a few months back and saw this place. I went in and talk to someone behind the counter, she was bragging up the place. Said to myself I need to try it. I had great expectations for this place because it is close. But I have to agree with Danny J. from Denver and Patrick S. from St. Pete. It is an odd manner which to place order. Don't mind placing it at the register if someone is there. I was not aware I needed to ring the bell to get someones attention, that's okay too. I placed my order, 9" cheese steak w/fried onions...provolone cheese, fries. They call it the platter. And the highlight of the meal was the Hank's Root beer. I grew up about two beers from the Spectrum parking lot so I know a little bit about cheese steaks. What Danny J. said "they don't incorporate the cheese and the meat together they put the cheese inside the bun and then put the meat on top." And that is how mine was made which also made the sandwich a bit dry. What Patrick said, "But when I tell you it was salty -- It was salty! WAY TOO SALTY." Mine too was a bit salty but I thought that was because I biting into a thick piece of provolone. The fries weren't bad but the star was Hank's Root Beer. I'm not gonna tell ya not to go but if you do they also use CheezWiz, that may circulate through the meat better. Peace.
