We started with beverages and a serving of Jumbo Wings (10) and I suggested the Thai Chili sauce. There was a trivia contest going on which seemed to take way too long to progress. My niece did spring for a race on the video machine, but sadly neither one accepted dollars. We exchanged for coins and mine worked but hers seemed to have stuck quarters so the race was not meant to be. Our wings arrived and were consumed rather quickly. Newer location of five bucks drinkery. Not my favorite location I still love the first original downtown st pete but this one is ok. Came for a friend's 40th bday and they accommodated us all great. About 20 of is and we had our own room and private bartender. She was great. The view was pretty cool. Even though it is in a city, it had this water and fountain view with a gator just chillin. We use to come here once a week but the quality of food isn't the same as in the past. They've raised prices by a dollar twice in a year on a lot of things, the portions aren't consistent and they got rid of the meatloaf which we loved. Still pretty decent for the most part just isn't consistent with food quality and they always have new people so makes you wonder about management. read more

We went to the (relatively) new five bucks this weekend. Place was packed with many people enjoying the games on their huge number of TVs. Sat at the bar and the service was friendly and quick to refill our drinks. Had an appetizer of nachos which were really good and then wings and salads. Came in for lunch today and had the worst experience! What I assume is one of the managers was being crazy with one of the servers, calling her stupid and making her cry. He went as far as putting his hands on her and shaking her! I couldn't hear what he was saying to her, but there's nothing that could ever warrant that kind of behavior from a manager. Especially as a woman, I feel that behavior like that is extremely hostile and uncomfortable for everyone involved. Husband ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork sandwich. Basically Velveeta shells and cheese with pre frozen pork out of a container and a non melted slice of cheese. It was interesting. What a fun place! This has a country type feel...almost like a college bar. It's very comfy but a bit on the loud and fun side. The food is some of the best bar food around (the mac n cheese melt is crazy good) and the drinks tend to be big and cheap. This was our first visit to this restaurant/bar. We sought it out after our workout at the nearby Crunch gym and were intrigued by the $5 drink offering concept. The bartender Lish was awesome at helping us get the lay of the land and made us some amazing drinks. My husband started with the Long-Island Iced Tea and I enjoyed the Strawberry Lemonade with vodka. We split an order of Buffalo Shrimp tossed in mild sauce. The amount of breading was perfect and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. My husband's only beef would have been a hotter sauce but he was kind and went with a milder sauce because of his wife. We sat outside at the bar and we were very comfortable given he heat and humidity outside. The restaurant has amazing fans/blowers that helped us feel very comfortable. We got refills on our drinks, but she never brought my daughter her iced tea until we reminded her about 15 minutes before we left. Also she didn't bring silverware with our appetizer. 07/08/2025. We Had early dinner at 5 bucks Seminole Florida's, this afternoon. This was Our first time there. Disappointed completely. Food just ok. No hotdogs / smoked sausages on the menu. We sat at the end table on the patio of the bar area. What ruined it was a couple came up and sat at the total opposite end of the bar and IMMEDIATELY Began CHAIN SMOKING. None of the staff or managers discouraged their smoking. It surely ruined our first and what will be our LAST visit to this establishment. There were NO SIGNS posting SMOKING ALLOWED and NO ASHTRAYS Anywhere. We dine out frequently in the Tampa Bay Area and have never encountered this scenario, since the Clean Air Act was passed in Florida. While we were there we saw 2 other customers walk completely away from the patio area to smoke. We could not smell their smoking at all. We certainly could not get a reprieve from the 2 other patrons chain smoking and ruining what should have been a pleasant first time dining experience. However, Due to the lack of management not taking the appropriate action, This is Our first and LAST time at FIVE BUCKS SEMINOLE FLORIDA...!!!!! Poor leadership by management. read more

Been to Five Bucks Drinkery many times... obviously it's good since we've been there a lot. The food is awesome. Had many items on the menu.. Hamburgs (various types mushrooms/ Swiss etc), Fish tacos and there's BLT with xrtra Bacon. All soo exceptional. No matter what we order always comes out hot & fresh. Staff is good, service is prompt and the price is reasonable. Don't think this is a real chain restaurant.. maybe locally owned.. I know of 2 of them St. Pete/ Seminole.
