This is a pretty typical sports bar, with lots of sandwich and burger type foods. The inside has lots of seating and several screens with different sports games and such. The service was pretty quick and the food was decent. Nothing outstanding but if you're looking for some bar food this is a good place to go. The boneless wings appetizer came with a lot and was pretty well sauced but still crispy. I'm not super into bar food or sports bars so it's just not really my scene. read more

Let me tell you something, this place is top notch!! We have come here for years and decided to ask if they could host my husband's Retirement party (35 yrs protecting and serving). They said absolutely and did they!! We had 70 guest show and everyone loved it! 1. The food was outstanding- we had wings, pulled pork, pulled chicken, baked beans and rice!! 2. The servers and all the staff were absolutely amazing and so attentive. The owners were there as well and made sure everything was perfect for us. 3. It was such a great place to have our party! A good "sports bar" like ambiance. Nice selection of TVs if that's what you're there for. And their beer selection is quite extensive. Pricing seems reasonable and the food has always been fresh. Daily specials are priced well and hard to beat the value. I see other reviews of the Mahi Mahi sliders and would have to agree those are amazing! The pulled chicken sliders are right up there as well. You do have to try their poppers. I get a HOT one once in a while, but typically just very flavorful and very little heat. read more

We stopped in for a late weekday lunch and we're glad that we did. We split a pulled chicken and a pulled pork sandwich at about 2:00 in the afternoon. Stopped in here for a quick dinner while on vacation. I always love stopping and trying local restaurants when Im away from home and this place was no disappointment. My wife and son both got the bubba burger special, 7.50 with a side on mondays (worth it) and said the burger was good. It was so big that both of them only ate half and had to take half of it with them to go. My daughter got a hot dog and fries. Not sure how they cook the hot dog, almost looked like it was fried and the french fries were a little too done for her. Any normal person probably would have enjoyed it but my daughter being a picky 4 year old we had to pull the skin off the hot dog and she only ate a couple of fries. I had a chipotle pulled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side of their hottest hot sauce. The chicken sandwich was moist and had a nice flavor but didnt seem to have any heat from the chipotle. The bun was nice and soft and the coleslaw wasnt bad either. The hot sauce wasnt the hottest I've ever had but the flavor was good and it left a nice heat on my lips. No regrets in stopping in at all. read more

My Wednesday night "foodies" group decided to give this place a try. So happy that we did! I had the pulled pork dinner with waffle fries and cole slaw. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful and the portion was great. Others in the group had the brisket ( up), the wings ( up), a bubba burger, and tacos. Everything was delicious. It was crowded the night we were there (it was Trivia Night) but the servers were attentive, sweet, and wonderful, and everyone's food came out hot and perfectly prepared. We had so much fun! We were active patrons until they raised their prices to 5.00 more on chicken wings. When I saw the bill on Friday evening this was where I almost had a heart attack. The old price list was gone as everything we were told only when up just 2 bucks that was such a Lie!!! The normal prices for 10 chicken wings were 9.99 that went up to 14.98 it came out to be 1.50 per wing. I had flats so that price went up to 20.00 for 10 flats.. such a waste. All we both of us had 1 draft beer bud light, 1 gingerale and Chips (potatoe) and gravy which turned out to be orignally 5.99 went up to 7.49.. thats terrible . I know your prices have increased but this bill came out to us for lunch for 47.00 and then we had to tip the young woman., To me that this is not as good anymore. WE WILL NOT BE BACK... Always a pleasure stopping here at Waterside for a reasonably priced meal and adult beverage. The on-site smoker teases my taste buds and I have a dilemma each time on what to choose. Not my guy though. He either has the brisket sandwich or brisket dinner. Me? Always the green fried tomatos. And the smoky spiced baked beans rival mine. Yep that good. I have had the chicken tenders as well as the big a-- chicken burrito which is great and my fav. We've sat at the bar and at the indoor tables. Service is always good and the food comes out hot and doesn't take forever. Their beer selection and drink specials truly enhance the experience here. Not to mention the trivial game boards and playing with best of the best in this area which is always fun. Parking can be a challenge but they do have their own parking lot. The outside seating is right on the water and there is a slip for the boaters. All of the employees are pleasant too which is so nice. I love the food at the Angry Pepper Waterside in Madeira Beach but the parking there is awful. I looked at the menu online and the food at the Seminole location looked to be the same as the MB location. Except it isn't. It's like they don't even try. We ordered the wings with dry rub and got plain wings with nothing on them. We ordered some buffalo sauce to try to save them but it was just from a jar. MB has a delightful Memphis style rub on their wings. The "angry" fish spread didn't hold a candle to the "angry" spread at the MB location. MB has jalapeno relish on the side....which is delicious. Seminole has a slightly spicy but also bland fish spread. The parking is good though. read more

Just the name drew us in. Huge bar. We sat near the taps and beer lists. Ordered a AP brewed stout and IPA. We enjoyed both. It was taco Tuesday which means $1 beef tacos or $2.50 chicken. We will be back to try those as we just ate taco tuesday somewhere else. The place was packed when we walked in at 5 pm. Older generation mostly. It was clean and easy to walk around. Staff was friendly. Merch for sale. Bathroom was clean. One stall women so it can be slow. Would rather see each bathroom be unisex so anyone can use them. I do not like using a mens restroom, a man shouldn't have to wait on a woman when it is clearly labeled men. BBQ looked and smelled delicious. Lovely outdoor patio, dog friendly. The food is great The drinks are well made, and the beer choice is wonderful. But there are some serious problems. I signed up for Yelp just to let people know. With as many servers they have, they barely check on you. My drink had to be sent back twice for being incorrect. There was a band the night we went, and they were obnoxiously loud, and allowing dogs on the tables was gross. It seems they don't have any sanitary rules. When I brought it up to one of the female servers, she was just rude, and told us to go somewhere else. I asked to see the owner, and she seemed really drunk and rude. I will be contacting the health department and inquiring about noise ordinances in the area. It's a shame, because I really liked the food, drinks and atmosphere. This is our favorite local pub! Monday nights are $6 burgers and I think they are among the best in the area! Smoked wings with sweet and nasty sauce, chef salad and the BLT are among my families favorites! The have nightly specials including $1 sliders and $2 on certain beers. So So. It's probably not a place I'll go back to. The beer prices were good since it was a Monday night special. There food was pretty much bar food, nothing spectaular. We ordered fried green tomatoes, stuffed Jalepenos, and chicken quesadillas. The tomatoes were good but I'm pretty sure they're not made in house, the jalapeños had like a bread stuffing inside which was a little weird and the quesadillas was a basic cheese and chicken quesadilla with shreeded lettuce, tom, salsa and sour cream. Everything was ok, the tomatoes were probably the best thing we had. The service was really good, the bartenders constantly checked in with us, kept our drinks refilled and were very nice. They were the best part of Angry pepper, great job ladies. There seem to be a lot of people that are regulars and were very intoxicated. At one point, two men were play wrestling next to me and bumping into the bar stools. On then on the way out the door, one of the drunk guys was trying to start a fight with another patron. So if you don't dealing with people a little inebriated then you won't mind some of the people that seem to frequent Angry pepper during the week. I guess it adds to the entertainment. read more

Angry Pepper is the local go-to. The beer selection is above standard and very cold. The menu is surprisingly large and the food is really good. The burgers are big and the buns are very fresh. They smoke brisket and wings on site. I am not a fan of smoked wings personally, but my wife, kids and friends all love them. The servers are casual, as is the atmosphere and the jukebox makes the choice of ambiance your own. Televised trivia and live trivia (one night a week) make for an enjoyable evening. It gets really busy and the opportunity to find a seat is a lot like looking for a parking spot in the mall: If you circle long enough, you'll get one. We love the staff. It is not fancy, so don't expect table cloths. It's a sports bar, but more than that, it's a great place to eat and drink with friends - or make new ones. read more
