I ordered the WAH-SABI Chicken Sandwich meal w/ Dip-em fries and a Blackberry Lemonade to drink. The Blackberry Lemonade is very refreshing which was nice. Sandwich had a good flavor as well. 1st visit to Sugar wings. Our food was ok. Kung pow chicken salad was good. The loaded fries to me were the best bite! Now for the not so bad news. I ordered 4 sticky soy glazed wings. My wings very dry and the glaze seemed like poured soy sauce. I gave them to my husband who had orange habenreo wings. Which he enjoyed the sauce flavor his chicken was also dry. Should have gotten a clue when I walked in at lunchtime and the place was empty. Girl at the front has no idea about what they serve there. I lost count of how many times she said "I don't know " and just giggled. Ordered all flats and she had not a clue what that meant. I asked the guy in the back for all flats. He said no problem. Picked up some dinner for my parents and I. 3 orders of small fries 2 orders of 3 pc chicken tenders 1 order 4 pc wings (Buffalo blue) 1 Side of Sugar Coleslaw I ordered the sugar wing sauce and the Carolina mustard which I did not get. No biggie the sugar wing sauce was outstanding! Total came to $31 added a few bucks for a tip. Place is clean....obviously being new. They keep it clean, I noticed team members cleaning and flipping tables immediately after people left. I took my food togo, they text you when it's ready. I ate those fries immediately when I got home, holy steak fry wannabe but definitely better than steak fries. I work in the restaurant biz and I have never seen fries look like that. Pillow mashed potatoey in the form of a chip. So incredibly good, salted nice and with the sugar wing sauce was fabulous! My wings were juicy and not dried out. Flavorful and saucy! I noticed some reviews on here saying that the wings were mediocre, I found this not to be true and a pretty good wing product. My parents are pretty old-school and do not appreciate food the way I do considering I am a chef but they do like food obviously but they said the chicken tenders were juicy and had flavor. You should take my dad's word for sugar coleslaw as he went for second. Will definitely be returned customers. Great job and I truly hope this business thrives! Wow. Yet another chicken tender restaurant. In the past 5 years so many have popped up around the area. At this point we are probably saturated with them, but I do think there is room for Sugar Wing. Upon entering I noted how clean and spacious this restaurant is. As the line to order grew, I loved how extra workers came to the front. Plus they have a kiosk you can order on, so they kept the line moving. I ordered tenders with a mustard based barbecue sauce, along with Mac & Cheese. The tenders were hot and moist and tasty. The coating wasn't anything incredible, but it tasted good. The sauce was surprisingly tasty. And the serving of Mac & cheese was generous and above average in taste as well. I will be building Sugar Wing into my repertoire of chicken tender places to frequent. read more

I would give 3.5 stars. Ordered 6 pieces habanero wings for $10.99 and fries for an additional $3.49 I believe. There was absolutely no habanero heat or flavor. Slightly sweet and very "wet". Wasn't horrible just wasn't what I was expecting. The fries are awesome though. I might try some other flavors which may earn more stars. read more

A mixed bag of items. The best thing I tried today was the $6.75 4 piece carolina mustard wings. I liked the mini onion rings on top. After that the $6.49 sugar bird sandwich was pretty good. The bread though is straight out of a wal-mart bag. The $6.99 Angry Bird wasn't hot or spicy. Literally 0/10 for spicy level. I had high hopes for this place. Don't get me wrong. The location is great, the space is nice and clean, and the staff are awesome. The big struggle for our group was the food. Not close to 5 star, unfortunately. Baseline, as the name indicates, you'll find an abundance of "sweet" in the food. We tried 3 types of wings and 3 different sandwiches. Everything was fundamentally decent, but a far stretch from a 5-star yelp experience. It didn't help that all of our food came out lukewarm/borderline cold. We were only 1 of 3 tables occupying the restaurant, so getting lukewarm food seems to indicate some challenges in the kitchen. They had a special on chicken tenders so I went with that. Food is made to order so it comes out fresh. The fries were also great! Really glad to have this place in Seminole! I'll be honest, I had low expectations for this place and am happy to say I was wrong about it. I've been twice now and both visits were delicious. Food: Wings - my niece had the naked wings and LOVED them. I tried the pb&j wings and thought they were really flavorful and tender. Tenders - great seasoning, moist and tender, decent size. Fries - probably my favorite item! Nice cross between a steak fry and chip. So crispy and perfectly salted. Cole slaw - not my fave. Kinda bland. I was disappointed to learn on my second visit that you can't upgrade your side to fries (or at least we were told that this visit). I wouldn't get this again. Sauces - I've tried a handle of the sauces. While every sauce was delicious, my favorites are the Carolina mustard, sugar wing sauce, and the atomic. I would love it if they had a "sauce flight" option to try different sauces. Service: Excellent, attentive service. The owner came to our table for feedback. It's clear they care about what they're doing and want to provide the best experience for their customers. Ambiance: The place is very clean with a good amount of seating. My experience here wasn't bad but it could've been better walking in the environment and atmosphere was very welcoming and clean i ordered the bbq chipotle wings and they had decent flavor and size to them my main problem is the price it's around 12 dollars for 6 wings with no drink or sides if you want to fill yourself up then be prepared to spend 15 dollars minimum also it's a 50 cent up charge for a side of sauce overall i will come here again but not a place that would be a regular spot it's a decent place with outrageous pricing. read more

Came here on 4/17/24. They hadn't been opened too long up to this point. Place was clean. Only 2 other customers inside. I ordered the angry bird (spicy chicken sandwich). It took over 20 minutes to make this. Not sure if this was a learning curve thing or what. There were tons of employees staffed. It was a little over $13 for this sandwich and a large drink, with a tip. Probably shouldn't have tipped, since it is kiosk ordering and you grab your own food (to go) when called. I will not be coming back anytime soon. And, I don't think this place is gonna be here for a long time based on my experience, local competition, and location. Best of luck! read more

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today for the opening weekend. My wife ordered the crispy chopped salad with romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, apples, bacon, red onions, and green goddess dressing. The salad was fantastic! The chicken tasted great with the salad and a must have for salad lovers. I ordered the Sugar bird chicken sandwich with pickles and sugar wing sauce. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Fresh, juicy, flavorful chicken. The sauce was slightly sweet and paired well with the pickles. My sandwich also came with their dip-em fries which are uniquely shaped, perfectly fried, with a perfect crisp to potatoey texture. (Not sure how else you describe them lol) We also tried some wings with the honey buffalo sauce. The sauce was slightly sweet with that buffalo flavor we love. The wings taste great but will most likely not get that particular sauce again. I think the sweetness doesn't pair well with the buffalo personally. We also tried the chipotle barbecue which was sweet but with some heat. There's 14 other sauces to try as well. Overall we really enjoyed Sugar Wing and when in the area again we'll be sure to stop by. read more

This establishment went from my top 2 for wings to mediocre. They changed their entire menu in the last few weeks and now they are just like every other mediocre wing place. No more loaded fries (which were amazing, stuff you dream about). No more Carolina mustard sauce no more buffalo blue sauce, no more chipotle bbq sauce. I ordered 4 of the 5 count wings, and they were very dry, almost no sauce on them. Tried the cheese fries, the cheese sauce is bland. Too bad , they used to be amazing, but not anymore. Visited the Ulmerton location this past weekend and had a very good experience! if you enjoy French fries they have a crispy crust with a good amount of real potato, sort of like a potato skin, you will like these. The wings were very fresh and flavorful with a light amount of of heat in the soy glaze. My daughter thought that the chicken sandwich was very good! Personally, I've never had a salad at a fast food restaurant with fresher and more perfectly cut vegetable. The ginger dressing tasted house made. We had lunch there yesterday. We were very impressed with the entire staff and the operation along with the drink service bar and the many, many dipping sauces. We both had the chicken sandwich with their respective topping and I must admit it was better than expected.
