Roach! We walked in and the hostess sat us quickly. We ordered two margs and a zingers mountain melt which were standard. Then, once we had received our salad, a roach the size of two quarters crawled across the floor of the restaurant. It seemed to be going between booths, getting crumbs from the tables. I really wanted to like this place. Idk how to explain it but it was just plain dirty. The bar had wet sticky something on it. We asked for a cloth. We got a napkin. Coasters, napkins and bits of food all over the floor. Granted, it was the outdoor bar but it just felt gross. Soup was served in a kinda 'dirty on the outside' of the bowl, no crackers. Ok. The place was packed and our server was busting butt, but it took forever to get our order in. They definitely need more people. I asked about the amount of corn in the salsa in the Mimi's dish & was told that it was not that much. Well, corn was not only in the salsa, but the rice too. Hubs had a steak which was a bit overcooked, but ok. No silverware. We waited but when one of the food runners came by our table, we asked for silverware and napkins. The restroom is by the kitchen and the black mat by the entrance door was soaking wet. One of the servers almost slipped coming out. Bathroom...not clean. It was an ok meal, but not a place that I would go to again, especially with so many other options right there. read more

Nice atmosphere for everyone with plenty of TV's to watch sports from around the restaurant. Food was great and served hot!! Great place to watch sports. TVs everywhere! My husband and I came here to watch a game while on vacation. The menu was extensive with your typical American pub-grub, but the "zingers" (fried chicken tenders) caught our attention! We ordered the "zingers mountain melt" to share, which is chicken tenders piled on top of fries and topped with cheese, bacon, scallions, etc. I love how they have a huge variety of sauces; we picked honey bbq for the tenders and ranch for dipping. You can tell the tenders were marinated in buttermilk as they have that rich, distinct flavor/texture. They were great! The fries were great too and somehow managed to stay crispy even with all the toppings! Definitely check this place out to watch a game :) read more

Took some friends to Millers Ale House at 4:30 to dine before a movie. All three of us ordered the Tuesday night rack of ribs special for $15.99. The ribs arrived at room temperature as if they had been sitting out for hours and hours. The coleslaw was also room temperature or below which gave me a queasy feeling wondering if that mayonnaise based salad had been sitting out all day. My side was broccoli and it was so overcooked it was actually mushy and it, too, was served at room temperature. Very disappointing. I rarely complain when I'm eating in a restaurant especially when I'm with friends. But I certainly hope Miller's figures out a way to deliver their food so that it actually looks and feels fresh, is served hot and not overcooked and the salads served refrigerator cold. We are from Omaha and on vacation and we were told this was a local favorite! So glad we went to eat there, the atmosphere is a laid back sports bar with 20 or so TVs playing sports, I did not try the different kinds of ale or what they have on tap. I had the Prime Burger and omg that was such a good choice it was rich and juicy. The brown gravy was just the right amount and it was very filling, so much I could have cut it in half and had lunch for the next day. I would definitely recommend that burger to anyone who! My wife had the big red and that thing was huge! She had a hard time finding the bottom bun! She ended up taking half of it home. The wait staff were very nice and friendly. When this particular restaurant opened, it was excellent, food was great and everything was clean. I went there today and the food was average, the waitress was good but the place is dirty everywhere. Had I gone to the restroom before ordering I would have walked out and not ordered food. The bathroom was gross, walls dirty, floor sticky, and sinks not so nice, good thing the lights were low and you can't see all that well in there. Food was average, for my taste buds it was very salty. With the price of food nowadays, if I am going out to eat the place needs to be clean, it doesn't cost that much to clean things, cleaning can be done when everything is slow. Easter evening, we decided to swing by Miller's located in Seminole, Florida. Its location is very strategic, easy to find and follow their GPS directions. Parking lot is great since it's an open/strip mall. We walked in and immediately we were greeted by the host. Our waiting time was approximately 20 minutes! They did go by the exact time! I had a party of 7 which made our waiter Henry (BIG SHOUTOUT) end up having 25 people on top of all the others he had! Since right after we came in an other party walked in. I have to say, Henry is a great people person. He truly has customer service skill, the ability to work well with others, works well under pressure, payes attention to details, excellent verbal communication skills, he is bilingual (Yes! That's a big plus!) and good listener. I also have to say, I loved the fact how the manager Tamara "Tammy" was on top of things, walking around, greeting, helping her employees serve as well as popping in the kitchen! (In my eyes, that is GREAT! Team work is the best work!) Kitchen Staff (I am sorry I don't have your names! But all of those who worked on Easter Sunday, 03/31/2024, around 5:30pm to 7:40pm) SHOUT OUT for pushing all those orders out! Cooked, hot and tasty! I have to start out that the food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very good. I love the food here a lot. The ambiance is nice because it's big inside and it has a sports vibe going on. This place would be great for larger parties, too. The service was good and the food came out pretty fast. However, I was disappointed when Ashley, our waitress, never told us that our son's strawberry lemonade was being charged multiple times because apparently it doesn't count for free refills even though the regular lemonade does. I have never been to a restaurant where the lemonade (doesn't matter what flavor) doesn't count for free refills. I would have appreciated that after the first drink she would have mentioned something like "Just so you are aware, there are no free refills on this particular lemonade" instead of just keeping them coming because my son can drink like 4-5 drinks at dinner time. I asked Ashley if I could see the menu and she did point out where it shows that (see photo where I commented). It's tiny and all the way at the end included in the same line as the free refills. If we would have known that it wasn't free refills, my son would have ordered the regular lemonade. Other than that, Ashley was a pleasant waitress. I'll be honest in the past visiting the Tampa location on Boyscout I was disappointed by the food. Tonight I took advantage of the $9.99 Cheeseburger and Fries special. I do look for the deals at restaurants to get the best bang for my buck. I was very pleased to see my burger cooked to the correct temperature medium rare. I've been in the restaurant business and hospitality for a longtime and if you can't cook a burger properly you should reevaluate your life choices. In this case definitely spot on. There were only two servers left on with I arrived and a bartender. My server Ally definitely did a efficient job taking care of me. She was able to answer all my menu questions. We stopped for a "quick" bite to eat while visiting family. We were seated quickly and our server Rachel greeted us promptly and asked for our drink order while we perused their menu. We both ordered unsweetened ice teas with a slice of lemon - unaware of the $3.29 price tag. The highest price yet that we paid for a glass of tea! Just plain unsweetened/ unflavored. Had I seen that on the menu I would have opted for ice water instead since my drink was almost HALF the price of my sandwich! I ordered their Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings that had a dollar upcharge. My sandwich was huge, the chicken was battered and then dipped in the hot Nashville sauce topped with a scoop of Coleslaw on a seeded grilled bun. Very flavorful but very sloppy to eat! I needed numerous napkins! Coleslaw wasn't too sweet or too tart, just right in the flavor profile but a little watery so along with that and the sauce the bottom of my bun became soggy hence the need for numerous napkins. Onion rings were large, hot and crispy. Served with a ramped up ranch dip they were very good. The wait time for our lunch meal however was way too long in my opinion and finally when the food came out my husband's chicken sandwich was missing. After a wait longer than I like a completely different server came out with his plate and said " You want to know why your chicken sandwich is late? The server was bring out your plate and dropped it on the floor and we had to remake it!" TMI and sad to hear!!! Hopefully next time we visit Miller's Ale House will be up to snuff! read more

This was an experience to say the least. Let me say, this was not a terrible experience by any means, i should have ordered something else. Our waitress, was great. She came and checked on us frequently. The atmosphere was fairly quiet but still welcoming. Drinks (from the bar) were good, but they did take awhile to come (I'm assuming because there were still quite a few people at the bar). The Cajun chicken pasta (not what I ordered, what my friend did) was PERFECT. It had a little kick but not an unenjoyable one, the bread was super garlicky and soft. I 1000% recommend this dish. We had flies swarming around during our meal the entire time we were there. Our out of town family member had debris fall from the ceiling fan into his dish. Used to sell this location as the "best of" the franchise. As much as I l enjoyed most of the higher priced items on the menu, the past few visits culminated in a dealbreaker. In the past three or four months, dining alone or with others, I would typically order the prime rib and loaded bake potato, or the full rack of ribs and fries. The Prime Rib is obviously not the same as one would expect from a Chicago (or Tampa) locally owned steakhouse, but was once quite good, though considered salty by many. During my last visit, I discovered the salt to broth ratio has dramatically increased, as you'll read below. I have, or had no issues with the same for quite some time. A medium rare cut is typically presented as ordered. On the occasions that it's grossly overcooked, it 's promptly replaced. The loaded potato is best ordered with the "loaded" ingredients separate, lest one pay extra for a light dusting of a few bacon crumbles, scallions (green onions) and a few cheese shreds -- certainly not loaded by any stretch of the imagination. Both are something Miller's will resolve without issue. That it seems to be a waste of time to deliver the same order twice, it must be that many have grown accustomed to the wretched post-COVID shortcuts in quantity and quality -- all at a higher price. This past Sunday, Miller's finally hit the tipping point for me -- and not in a good way. The medium rare prime rib was delivered as medium-well at best. I asked for a replacement and quickly ended up with what some would consider an "extra-medium," if there were such a thing. My friend's cut, also ordered medium-rare, was actually a passable medium, with parts almost there. Both steaks were bathed in an overpowering briny saltwater broth. The baked potatoes we both ordered were humorously small. , Both had the consistency associated with a microwaved leftover previously baked potato. I imagine it was either cooked the day before, or cooked was put in the oven early in the morning and later revisited and reheated.. While mine was ordered loaded, it didn't much matter, or warrant the cost, to worry about what was on top of the excessively limited real estate of what appeared to be a shriveled baked and reheated new potato. All in all, it was a truly forgettable and unfortunate experience. I don't expect to be recognized nor remembered by certain members of the staff of any chain restaurant ; though found it an added extra bit of personality the the Seminole City Center location on the occasions when I was indeed recognized as a semi-frequent visitor. I imagine many once felt the same. Such as it is, I don't mind being lost in the crowd. Either way, it obviously has no bearing on the food. My self created Brand Ambassador position for the Seminole City Center location is open, as I no longer recommend that this particular franchise location is any different than the slew of the other Miller's Ale House locations throughout the Northeast and Midwest US. There are too many other equally mediocre corporate franchises vying for the chance to drain our wallets simply because they're nearby and of a known quantity. Like Bennigan's before, I don't consider this business model terribly impressive. We are so fortunate to live in an area that has an abundance of excellent locally owned restaurants -- several of which have landed nationally and regional awards. Just as many smaller restaurants have opened over the years and continue to reimagine themselves while continuing to offer up customer favorites and personalized service. There are an increasing number of locally owned restaurants that have earned such a reputation that they've carefully expanded to three or four additional locations; all in an effort to serve various nearby communities while maintaining the same high standards that put them on the local map to begin with. I imagine that's how it once was when Miller's opened their first successful restaurant in Jupiter (Florida). read more

Maybe it was an off night but it was off enough to make it our first and last visit. The place was busy with a wait to be seated which seemed like a good sign. We soon learned why - from the time of order to delivery of our food was almost 40 minutes. A manager stopped by our table and asked how everything was and we told her we have been waiting 40 minutes to find out. She did get the food to the table after she personally said she would get it handled. Standard bar good, ribs were so so. My meal was so so. I love the sports bar theme restaurant you can't miss a game while your here. First time here was really good but we only ordered appetizers, fish dip and nachos. Well the second time we went I ordered the pork osso bucco it was 5* it just melts in your mouth, you can pull the bone out clean. There is nothing you need to add to this BIG piece of pork.
