    Bourbon honey eggs benedict
    Michelle M.

This colorful building really stands out inside and out and is a unique find with good service. Lots of interesting things to look at while you wait for your food. I was excited to try the bourbon honey eggs benedict for a unique take on this breakfast food. Unfortunately, it fell flat. It's one huge eggs benedict instead of two which was surprising. The bread (which looks like a huge burger bun) was way too big and thick for the amount of toppings on it. It also needed way more sauce as a result of the huge bread as it was overall a very dry eggs benedict. I really feel the flavors would be much better appreciated on a more traditional English muffin (or at least a significantly smaller piece of bread).

What a whimsical and fun place! Went here on a Sunday after church, on a recommendation from a friend. A downtown Safety Harbor little jewel. Our party of three were seated right away and brought menus. We scoured the menu and were brought drinks. My daughter chose the Black and Blue Bacon Burger, my daughter's beau selected the Bacon and Cheddar Burger, and I wanted to try the Womelette with Spinach and Feta. We chatted for a while and looked around the visually stunning room. There was a plush pony playing the piano, multiple unicorns, a psychedelic deer head, rainbows, and posters all around. It was walking into a My Little Pony dream. This also was the theme outside and even on their "company car." Our food came and the two were very impressed with the burgers. They were both tasty and did not spare the amount of Bacon! My first attempt at a Waffle/Omelet, the Womelette, was disappointing. I envisioned two halves (or whole) waffles, made from eggs alone, with the Feta and Spinach inside. Instead, they were placed on top of the waffle. This made for a very dry and disappointing taste. I'm glad I did try it. Luckily the two shared a couple bites of their burgers. A pleasant atmosphere, almost circus-like, and definitely eye catching. Service was great and I think it would be a great place to bring our grandkids.

What a phenomenal breakfast and lunch restaurant. Daydreamers Rocks! I recently moved here and im addicted. The owner and our server were so courteous and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Oh the food. I ordered their British Breakfast absolutely Delicious. My sister ordered an Eggs Benedict. Wow!!!!

Delicious food and amazing service. It's tucked off the main drag in a cute little house. The blueberry hibiscus mimosa was flavorful; as was the Smoked Georgia eggs Benedict breakfast. The joining sausage and potatoes were also packed with flavor. I also live the thick grits! Overall, lots of food options for breakfast and lunch to ensure a repeat visit.

Cuban "Best of the Bay" - NY Style

Great eclectic spot in downtown Safety Harbor. Perfect spot to sit outside on a "winter" day having brunch. Had the Cuban sandwich (NY Style) which was fantastic. Rest of the family each loved their food. Service was great, responsive and accommodating. They even grabbed our dog a bowl of water :). Recommend this spot if you're in the area.

The food was good and super fast. But the place was quaint and employees were so friendly and hospitable. Everyone, including the owner were warm and so welcoming.

French Toast plate with eggs & floppy bacon

Excellent service and food. Parker was our server and she was phenomenal! I ordered the French Toast plate with eggs & floppy bacon. Bacon is made floppy unless specified you want it crispy. I love floppy bacon so this was perfect for me! I requested my eggs be cooked over medium. Everything was perfect and fresh!

Ok if you've seen this from the street, it's a sight to behold! I'm always eyeing it and the cool mural on the outside. It's adjacent to the ShamC art center I believe, so maybe after you grab a bite here, check that out. The staff is super friendly and I love that it feels like a true neighborhood hangout. I tried the breakfast cuban, which won Best of the Bay, and I can see why. It was belly-busting and delicious, and even came with perfectly crisped potatoes. My friends ordered a towering burger crowned with bacon and an equally skyscraping club sandwich. I don't think you can go wrong here...

    Steak and eggs

Super cool, little hipster place. Came here for breakfast when in town for business. Steak and eggs were super yummy so was the iced house coffee. It would definitely be one of my go to places if I lived in Tampa area. I was also lucky enough to taste a sample of chef's dinner special that he was preparing for that weekend - very cool experience. Last but not least, service was very nice as well!

    Scrambled eggs

Was very delicious! The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. The waffle was light and amazing. Cute British breakfast place. Highly recommend

When I came in I got greeted by the owner and sat wherever I wanted. The server seemed like she didn't want to be there. Which I get they were kind of slow, but if you have a paying customer there should be some kind of courtesy. I ordered a cranberry juice and it was $3 for a small cup, so I asked for a bigger glass and I was charged another $3. The food was good, kind of small proportioned, but I got full. Nothing more to say, charming little place and the owner was sweet.

    Brunch!

What a cute whimsical spot! And the food was delicious, just different enough to not be basic but not too "out there". We enjoyed everything we ordered!

Cute little breakfast nook in cozy downtown Safety Harbor. If you're into supporting local businesses, this is the Main Street to do it. Daydreamers offers a stacked breakfast and brunch menu that even gluten-free breakfast lovers can feast their eyes on. I had quite a few different options! My party indulged in tasty mimosas while I guzzled iced coffee. Note to coffee snobs: they don't have liquid/melted sugar. Hot coffee preferred. For breakfast, I ordered my favorite: chimichurri steak and eggs with potatoes. It came with a biscuit & gravy that I gave to my friend (because gluten). Everything was cooked well. My eggs over medium were perfect. Portions were big enough for me to share a few bites. Everyone was full and satisfied afterward. I noticed lots of unicorns and dreamy quotes inside. Seemed like a friendly place, welcoming to all.

We took full advantage of the $5 happy hour menu and ordered the happy hr sliders, wings, and fried green tomatoes, along with a couple menu items. The Ahi Tuna Flatbread was light, fresh, and packed with flavor. It was topped with spicy chili aioli, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, and pickled peppers on warm grilled flatbread. Would order this again. The Ultimate Brussel was a nice standout. Crispy brussel sprout halves tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette with pork belly "croutons," thin slivers of Granny Smith apple, and creamy Gorgonzola crumbles. Every bite had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, tangy, and crunchy. My fork had a mind of its own and kept going back for more. Easy street parking, tons of TVs, one TV had trivia playing which you can join by downloading an app. We were choosing between a few spots, but Brinehouse's Thursday Beer, Bourbon & BBQ & also a Happy Hour (3-6 p.m.) with $5 bites made the choice easy (for me!). My Golden Hour Lychee White Sangria was refreshing and the perfect happy hour drink for a sweltering July afternoon In the end, our group of 5 were happy with our choice & would happily recommend it.

Gigglewaters down the street is way better. UPDATE: We decided to give them a second chance on a Sunday and sat inside. Big mistake. The salmon was, by far, the worst salmon I have ever had in my entire life. To top it off, the checkout process makes the place feel like a fast-food slop joint. They tack on a $3.39 card processing fee and completely rush you out. The server interrupted our conversation, handed over a portable machine, and said, "I'll wait right here for your card." They practically breathe down your neck while the screen prompts you for an 18%+ tip for terrible service. We won't be giving this place a third chance. Main Street is full of much better options!

we originally went here soon after they opened and had an absolutely ridiculously bad time and left…read morea review for them. To be fair, we were told by the manager to call, give them another chance to make it right etc. However, we didn't call and only gave them a second chance this morning with friends. The reason I didn't call to "make it right" was I want the experience I have at a restaurant to be organic, and not get special or specialized treatment because we made a complaint. Now, on to our adventure today. We (a party of 4) arrived around 1020ish and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty full, which was expected as it was a Sunday morning. The lady who seated us (not our waitress...tall with long dark hair) was very friendly, chatty, and funny. We appreciated her service. Our waitress was quite inattentive. We each got a cup of coffee, along with waters, iced tea, etc. Once we got our drinks and the orders were placed, we didn't see the waitress again until after the food was delivered (i.e., a very, very long time). The tall dark-haired lady finally came around and refilled our coffee/tea/water after they had all sat empty for 10+ minutes. The wait for the food was so, so, so long. We waited close to 45+ minutes for our food (nothing special, nothing fancy, straight up off the menu, no changes or alterations). This has not improved since the last time we were there and it is just baffling to me that it takes so long to get food out. The biscuits and gravy were enjoyed enjoyed, however 2 of the 4 biscuits were so hard she could not cut them with the fork, and with very very great difficulty with the knife. The tops of the biscuits were soft and pillowy but the bottom were pucks. This time the eggs seemed to have been cooked properly My husband was not happy with the omelette he got, and they took that off the bill without us asking. She did mention that she could have another order put in for him but (and these are her words), "It would take about 15 hours for you to get your new plate of food." We declined a new order and thanked her for taking it off the check. I got a sandwich and it was fine, nothing special but also not awful. Our other friend got a full breakfast platter which he enjoyed. He said the pancakes were very fluffy. So, in this updated review, I have increased the stars for the food because it wasn't *as* awful as last time, but still problematic. The worst thing, which was an issue with our first visit, is the wait time for food. It is just too. dang. long. I look at a place like Lennys, where we would have been in, seated and eating by the time we got our first coffee refill (also much too long in a breakfast place.....just....have coffee ready??). We did note when we walked in there were only 3 servers for the dining room --- perhaps they were short staffed which is why we only saw our server 4 times --- once for drinks, once to take food orders, and once to check on food, and once to drop the check. It was the lady who seated us who had a great rapport with the table, who was cheerful and friendly who can take credit for the two stars in ambience. In the end, we gave them another shot. No one at the table was impressed. The kitchen is woefully slow. The service was inattentive. we will not be coming back.

We each ordered an entree along with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of the crispy brussel sprouts. Hardly shareable. My seared tuna was very good and a decent size portion but seriously? You can't serve shelled edamame? Fishing the bean pods out of the sauce to clumsily try to squirt the bean out should not be happening with a dish that is $34. We ordered a bottle of wine which we all enjoyed. My last complaint is that the restaurant was extremely warm. We all were on the verge of breaking out in a sweat. For those prices, invest in some sort of better air conditioning. The service was fine. The meal was $300 with tip, and considering everything, we feel it's not worth going back.
