The staff insisted that I could not stay unless I provided the dog's 'registration' or 'license.' When I politely tried to explain that no such registration exists under the ADA or Florida Law, and even showed them the law on my phone, they still wouldn't listen. They claimed a 'health inspector' had just been there and told them to only allow 'registered' service dogs. To be clear: There is no legal registration for service dogs in the U.S. or Florida. Health codes do NOT override federal civil rights laws like the ADA. Claiming otherwise is a direct violation of Florida Statute 413.08. I've been a regular here, but I cannot support a business that kicked me out illegally .If you have a service animal, stay away--they do not respect your rights here."
