Took my pup to Petco for a bath and had lunch here while I waited. What a great little find. The decor is clean and fresh. The staff is very welcoming. Got the impression he may be the owner. I ate in and he was very attentive and accommodating. A large healthy menu from smoothies, açaí bowls, wraps, salads and regular bowls. Mine had quinoa but you can opt for rice. All the toppings were so fresh and tasty! The chicken was perfect. I loved the cilantro lime sauce. The portion was big enough that I had to take half of it home with me!!! Just tried the newly opened restaurant called Ginger and Lime. If you havent been yet, I encourage you to go! It was delicious, and I already have my next meal planned! The owners are super friendly and accommodating, it's spotless, and has convenient parking (Curlew/US19, Next to Publix), and I felt the prices were reasonable because of the quality and taste. The Menu is clearly marked for Gluten Free, but even the items not marked can be made with a GF wrap. I chose the Chicken Avocado Sandwich with a GF wrap, and Cole slaw. I dont usually get Cole slaw but wasnt in the mood for chips. I gotta tell ya, IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! There was another person eating and when she paid, she told the owner how good the Cole slaw was and I couldnt help chiming in too! It is not too sweet or watery, it was cold and fresh! I've been craving it ever since...not usually how I react to Cole slaw! HAHA The chicken was tender and moist and the wrap as a whole was really good, fresh and well made. I also had a side of Chipotle Aioli, which the owner said they made their own mayo, which made it even more enjoyable! While I was there a few people came and went and ordered smoothies and were pleased with their order. I was too full to try one but will go back again. My only true wish was that it was closer to were I live and not off the dreaded US19. Went in here because I read they have good sandwiches..... and it's true. I got the prime rib sandwich, and although I was hoping for more of a cheesesteak, my sandwich was delicious. Fresh crispy veggies, great bread and good flavors. I was going to eat just half..... but that didn't happen....and my need for a greasy cheesesteak was replaced by a delightful healthy meal. They don't have table service but today the attention to what we needed even after we were seated was almost better than wait staff. Food was very fresh. We had the artichoke bowl and the Eva bowl and both were super tasty and had a variety of ingredients and tasted in them. Not just another "bowl" place. A lot of stuff they make right there in house and the artichokes were hot and according to the owner and marinated in house. The eggplant, pickled onions, and other items had nice flavor. The decor and ambiance was pretty plain and lacking so it's not a place to go for fine dining, a good view or an upscale brunch... The gentleman behind the counter, whom I believe to be the owner, was polite, friendly and upbeat. I ordered the Eve's Garden Bowl with quinoa, and it was a very good portion as well as very delicious. I was really quite impressed. I'm a big eater and I almost had to ask for a to go box, but I ended up eating the whole thing. Oh, and it was gluten free and vegan - just an fyi for those who appreciate that. I got a chicken sandwich and my chicken was very dry, but the hummus inside the sandwich along with the veggies made it delicious. I liked the cabbage coleslaw but it was on the sweet side and needed a bit more vinegar. My husband had prime rib sandwich. He liked the sandwich. The meat was tender, a little fatty, but seasoned great. The chips however, were unflavored corn chips that were tasteless. My husband stated, this would have been a fantastic sandwich had it had a side of fries or a good home made potato salad. Fries or pita salad are not offered. You get a choice of cabbage coleslaw or chips. This is a great healthy restaurant. It was a good dining experience.
