Since his birthday happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year, I needed to locate a bakery that could conduct a sale within a day or two of the huge holiday. Sweet Caroline's staff picked up the phone, took my order for two cupcakes, processed the $9.00 payment, and ensured my cupcake order would be ready for pick up the day before Thanksgiving. A nearby family member picked up the order (and reported the bakery to be packed), and dutifully stored the German Chocolate cupcakes in the fridge until it was time for the birthday celebration. I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but these cupcakes were absolutely divine! The chocolate was rich and the cake itself was so fresh. Pops loved the surprise. I am grateful that Sweet Caroline's Bakery was able to deliver on this super special occasion.

I had a French vanilla latte (delicious!) and a salted caramel pastry that had been made in-house that morning. Whether this is a poor selection of beans or failure to dial in the settings I'm not sure, but I would avoid coffee drinks at this location. We next ordered tea, but the order was incorrect when first delivered. To the staffs' credit, they quickly worked to correct that. I found the Love & Affection to be unremarkable. The Abundance had a metallic tang that was off putting. Be cautious with your tea selection. For both the coffee and tea, you are likely better ordering with various sweeteners and syrups to cover the unpleasant notes.
