Egg & Avocado Ciabatta, 4/5: Simple, healthy, and tasty! Something I could make at home, but I love simplicity. Nothing mind-blowing, but I'd happily eat it again. Chicken Empanada, 4.5/5: Really good! The chicken was juicy, well seasoned, and flavorful. It's not greasy! I'm not sure if the empanadas are baked or fried, but either way, would get again. They also have a bunch of different flavors to choose from. Spinach Empanada, 3.5/5: The spinach was good, but this one just wasn't for me. I don't like feta. Still worth trying though Almond Croissant, 4/5: I don't even like croissants that much, and I still thought this was good. The almond filling was rich, flavorful, and paste like. If you love almond pastries, you'll probably really enjoy this. Not personally something I'd order again. Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, 4/5: Very sweet, so definitely ask them to adjust the sweetness to your preference. Otherwise, it was a good drink. Super clean, pink, bubbly, and cute. It's a fun place to hang out with friends, and they even have a little area for pictures. There was only one person working when we went, and she was doing all the heavy lifting. Charlie Coffee is such a cute, Instagram-worthy spot. A lot of times with really aesthetic cafés, the coffee doesn't always live up to the hype -- but this place pleasantly surprised me. The latte was nice and smooth, and the Dubai chocolate croissant (which I believe is made in-house) was absolutely delicious and way above expectations. What a great little coffee shop in Oldsmar, right off Tampa road. The bibe, right off the back is laid back and beautiful. With comfy seating and nice music. We came in anout an hour before closing and enjoyed a chai latte and a double shot espresso. It was nicely decorated, clean and the coffee was good too! read more

I love a cute local coffee shop and Charlie Coffee is exactly that! The inside is adorable with cute spots to sit and the staff is absolutely so sweet. Also, Charlie the dog is the boss! What's better than a coffee shop owned by dog people? I ordered a peppermint mocha cold brew with cold foam. The mint flavor was pretty strong & I could've used less to get more of the coffee flavor but it was decent! My husband got the so apple smoothie and he loved it. The coffee is really good. (I'd say, low-acidity Honduran. It was very smooth and mellow). It's not much of a food/pastry place but it's got some unusual drinks like bubble tea and smoothies in addition to the normal lattes and coffee. Charlie Coffee is such a cute little coffee shop with plenty of parking and it was easy to find. They have a good solid menu but are willing to make special requests with no hesitation. Baristas were very sweet and took their time crafting our drinks to PERFECTION. They use real ingredients, have gluten free options as well as seasonal options on a separate little menu. It was very welcoming and very busy! My ONLY complaint would be that there is not enough seating inside and the people that were there were there for the long haul so we had to sit outside. I've been to this place three times and every time my coffee was perfectly made and delicious! Today for the first time I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was honestly the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The eggs were so soft and fluffy and the ciabatta bread was fresh And soft! There are so many coffee shops in our area now & it's rare that one can break out of the pack. Charlie Coffee was able to do that for me. The shop is hidden in a strip mall. I say hidden because there really is not much signage for it. There are only some hastily painted words on the window. Inside, the decor makes you think it may be a mistake coming in here. I happen to know there used to be a Hawaiian ice place here that was decorated in all pink. Charlie coffee hasn't changed that motif so the decor makes no sense. I ordered a hazelnut latte & my expectations were plummeting. Then I had a taste. This was one of the best tasting lattes I've ever had. It was smooth, slightly sweet, flavorful, & it was unbelievably satisfying. Did I mention how smooth it was? I love coffee but I didn't know it could taste this great. I spoke with the owner who is from Chile. He shared with me his knowledge of coffee & how he only picks specialty batches of beans which yield the taste experience I had. My coffee came from a particular farm in Honduras. Sometimes though he finds great coffee from Guatemala, Colombia, or Brazil. So if you can get past the bad outside signage & the mismatched inside decor, I believe you'll find a pearl in an oyster. read more

Fresh & fun!! This coffee shop is one that stands out in the area! From the atmosphere to the flavorful menu, it is sure to impress. This coffee shop is tucked away in a strip plaza and you really have to know what you are looking for because there isn't huge signage that is visible from the main road. Upon entering, you'll instantly notice the bright decor and how clean the place is. There is a floral wall towards the back that is an Instagram worthy photo spot. The coffee is sourced from another local supplier that I love and everything I've tried here so far has been great. I really love the matcha drinks!! I've been support of Charlie's Coffee since they've opened. I love supporting small businesses. I work full-time and very rarely get time and opportunity for myself to just sit in bed and enjoy myself in a cute coffee house. Today was absolutely disappointing. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for a latte And a muffin. When I got the latte, it was all warm instead of hot. I had to get up and ask about it and it was milked down. When I tried it, I asked her if she could give me another shot or if the first shot wasn't strong enough because I couldn't taste any of the coffee. It just tasted like warm milk. She replied " it's the 12 ounce shot you get one if you would like you can pay for another shot." I said no thank you. I sat back down and broke into this horrible muffin that was so dense. I could've bounced it on the floor. I sat there, not wanting to drink my latte. I had a few more minutes before I had to leave and she did come over it took her about another 10 minutes as she just sat there watching me and asked me if she would like me to remake the coffee. I said no I have to leave so I didn't get that ambience. There's no smiles when you walk in. She apparently was the owner and I couldn't believe it because never once have I been to a local coffee shop and not had a smile or an appreciation of knowing your patrons as they come in again I was able to use and redeem points for this because I had been there so many times before. The husband is always pleasant, but I guess if you don't love what you do you're not going to show anybody else that you care. read more

Cute place and the iced latte was good. However this is the second time we try to go there at opening of "7am" and they never get there on time. They stroll in at 7:10 , have to set everything up, and you could be there 20 minutes waiting for your drink. Love to support small businesses but there is no point in advertising a 7 am opening to get there at 7:10. Most coffee shops get there early, get set up and open their doors at 7am ready to serve you. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I was so excited to go to this coffee shop because their photos online looked amazing. It is very aesthetic inside with the jungle wall. However, I waited 15 minutes for a sandwich while the girl that was supposed to be making it seemed lost. There were only 2 other people there so they were not busy. The drink I ordered was frozen and I noticed when it was poured out that an equal amount of it was left in the blender which means I only got 1/2 the espresso intended for the beverage. The girl who made the sandwich literally handed it to me wrapped in parchment paper and gave me the paper bag separately because she could not get it together enough to put the food in the bag. The sandwich was also missing the tomatoes. And the icing on the cake was that she was wearing gloves which she also kept on to use the POS system, touch several other surfaces and then touched my food. The gloves were never changed.
