This was my first toast order. Not only were both toasts delicious, but both were works of art! I ordered using the app, and I was going to take it to work. But I wanted to eat it as soon as I saw it. The BERRY BLISS toast was amazing. Blueberries, strawberries & kiwi were fresh on crunchy outside/soft inside thick multigrain bread. Honey & almond butter held it all together. The Toasted Elvis was also very good with peanut butter & bananas. I enjoy coming here for fresh & delicious food served by friendly artistic staff! Two times I've come in eithin a half hour of closing to see the staff digging in all of the fruits with the same gloves cross contaminating every other fruit with one that somebody may be allergic to. Yesterday we were not even acknowledged when we walked in for a few minutes and both team members walked to the back when we got there. Tonight, it took another several minutes to be acknowledged whilst watching the same gloves digging in every fruit with a lobby full of people and most the equipment wrapped up for the night. You don't close until 9. Quit hiring such lazy people who create liabilities. read more

I've been here twice and I like it. They have an ap so you can order in advance, which I like. I used the ap today and ordered the Purple Rain. I was expecting it to be more berry tasting but unfortunately all I taste is banana. I realize I meant to get the Magic Dragon (oh well, next time.) On a previous visit I had the Green Whisper, which was delicious (no banana.) I can't see myself getting any of the bowls because they are huge. Maybe they could offer a half size? Anyway, I am more of a smoothie person or a juice person. There are several juices I can see myself trying. They mislead you by the pictures. Had the fig quesadilla and in the pictures it shows fresh fig, however when you get the item it was fig marmalade which was so sweet it was inedible. My daughter had the açaí make your own bowl and instead of using a bigger bowl they pack it in a smaller bowl and there is no chance if not making a mess. Despite this the bowl was good. I've tried a numerous amount of different bowls from here but always go back to grain and berry bowl. A good mix of berries, granola, peanut butter, and most importantly nutella! The shakes here are good as well, I love the healthy Elvis, but the açaí bowl is what they're known for, so make sure to pick one up. The portions here are huge also, I usually get a bowl to go and can never finish it in one sitting (perfect, more for later) Definitely a regular spot of mine, give them a try. This seems like the hottest new place in Palm Harbor! It was packed!! Things seemed a little chaotic and there were quite a few people standing around waiting for their orders for a while. One women received the wrong order twice but I think that was due in an inexperienced staff member. They did end up giving her the order correctly, and for free to compensate for her inconvenience- so that screams good customer service. I like their menu, it has a lot of options for a bowl place. I ordered an acai bowl to compare it to others I've had around the county. It was good. It was also BIG. I've read reviews where people complain about the $10 price tag for a bowl but honestly that's the norm for fresh ingredients - especially in such a large quantity. If I'm not mistaken, all of their bowls come drizzled with Nutella but I opted out and stuck with just a peanut butter drizzle which added a really nice flavor and texture. I didn't really care for the layout of the place. The long tables reminded me of school cafeteria seating. And walking in the door, I wasn't really sure where I was supposed to go to order and where the line started. All in all, I would definitely return to try more items. Finally learned how to pronounce acai thanks to our visit here. If you like acai bowls these are great. Lots of fresh fruit & amazing toppings. I don't know if it's the norm since I'm a newbie but the acai was slightly chilled which was very refreshing. I finally got to try this place, and it didn't disappoint! I love that they have a variety of smoothie bowls to choose and have several bases. There's a kale, açaí, or dragon fruit base orrrr you can get a yogurt base. When I went, they were also offering a limited time pumpkin based smoothie bowl. Not sure if they still have it, but it didn't sound appealing to me. They also have giant smoothies, coffee, and some other bottled beverages. This is a great stop for a big breakfast, healthy-ish dessert, and everything in between. They're open until 9 PM most days, which is one of my favorite things about them. I get açaí bowl cravings at night! Grain & Berry would be a great place to study, meet a good friend, or unwind after the gym. It offers free WiFi, and still gives the vibe of the Starbucks that used to be in this building. There are only two things they need to do to change my review to 5: 1. Use different (and less) granola. Escape Root Juicery in Dunedin uses the best granola. G&B should get it. 2. The employees could be a little more efficient (the wait was a tad long). I decided to stop in earlier today, after my bestie noticed some roadside signs that indicated a new Acai spot had opened up near her home. Grain & Berry is no secret to the locals at all! Plenty of people were already scattered throughout the restaurant when I arrived a little before noon - a good sign for a new business! Grain & Berry is modernly decorated with awesome Edison lighting and a variety of seating options - including outdoor seating for those who want to brave the heat! They also have free WiFi for anyone looking for a non-coffee shop spot to chill and work. Their menu is pretty varied - in addition to Acai Bowls, they offer Smoothies as well as Pitaya and Kale Bowls! I stayed true to my norm and fulfilled my Acai fix by ordering their signature Grain and Berry Bowl minus the coconut shavings and peanut butter (and light Nutella). They also offer a "create your own bowl" option which seems to be worth it if you like choices! I LOVED MY BOWL! The açaí bowls are LOADED, although I didn't get one for myself but I watched them make another customers bowl. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan diet. Which is really nice that they knew honey is not considered vegan since it is a byproduct. I got a healthy Elvis smoothie. It was amazing, one of the BEST smoothies I have ever had. First visit and it screams health food! Previously a Starbucks, it's a great location on the corner of Nebraska and US 19 in Palm Harbor next to Verizon. As I entered a big billboard about Lavazza coffee, my fav and Italy's caught my attention. I ordered a cappuccino which was excellent. As I read a printed brochure I noticed the toasted peanut butter on sour dough. I tried it adding coconut flakes and cinnamon. A real winner on taste, texture including a small cup of diced strawberries and blueberries. In the half hour here lots of foot traffic and delivery drivers with take out orders. Place is well lit with seating for about 20. I can see why Grain and Berry has over a dozen locations in its growth throughout Tampa Bay. "Feeling fruity?" Great place for an açaí bowl. They put a lot of fresh fruit on top and you can add whatever else you'd like. The base is very liquidy so beware if you normally like your açaí thicker as they don't make it like that. The way their bowls are makes them look very aesthetically pleasing but makes it really hard to eat without making a mess and in trying to eat the parts together. They do have good flavor though. Came here today for the first time. Since I'm visiting from California (where they have the best açaí bowls) I didn't think any açaí bowl in Florida would measure up. I was wrong! First off, this bowl is huge! I get half the portion in Cali for the same price. I also always feel most places don't put enough granola, as I'm always left wanting more. This bowl has an abundance of granola and you get the crunch with every bite. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter and Nutella drizzle topped the cake. I am an HR professional and have been in the field for over 20 years. My daughter got her first job here and she's 15. They had her report for her first shift and had her go home after 20 minutes because they scheduled too many people to train. Then, she went back the next day. They informed her there is an app where they do all the scheduling and communicate. She caught a virus after her first shift, so she communicated in the app that she couldn't attend work for her next 2 scheduled shifts and reported to her third. The told her that they assumed she quit and she showed them the communication thread. They said, well...you should have texted, too and they might put her on the schedule the following week. She communicated via text a few more times after that to see if they would schedule her, but no response.... As a senior manager, I will tell you this is why places don't stay open and have terrible service. They treat their employees poorly. All I can say is do better. Hire better managers.
