Unfortunately, they didn't have a spot to lock up our bikes so we walked over to the Starbucks nextdoor to lock them. We went mid-week early in the morning and had no issues getting a table. The service was wonderful and our host was very kind and attentive! I wish I caught her name! A= Appearance - This place serves food like a mom and pop diner, but without the diner feel/vibe. The restaurant has a modern clean design. T= Taste - Lately I have been on a hot cocoa kick, so considering it was vacation and cold out I got one! And I'm glad I did! I liked how they did a special touch of chocolate drizzle on the whipped cream. I was having a crisis on what to order because everything sounded so good but luckily a customer next to me heard and recommended the croissant breakfast sandwich. I normally wouldn't have ordered that, but hey I was open! It paid off, it was a buttery croissant with an over medium egg (it said over hard... but in fact I was glad it was over medium because I like my yolk runny). My fiancé got the southern skillet and also enjoyed his meal. He said it was lots of food and had leftovers! Family lunch after church and in the mood for Brunch, a friend recommended we try Eggtown. We agreed and headed up US 19. Our group of four arrived and were greeted right away. It was such a nice day, sunny but not too hot, we decided to sit at the Patio. Menus were brought along with waters and one coffee. We usually try to order different dishes and share meals to taste multiple items. That is unless my wife has something really great, then has to be pressured to share!! We decided on the Huevos Rancheros (me), Spicy Chorizo Skillet and BLT Avocado Omelette. Our food came in good time, allowing us a bit to talk and enjoy the sunshine, without the usual Florida thunderstorms. We dug in and shared. My Huevos Rancheros was great, with a little heat, although I would have preferred more heat. The Spicy Chorizo Skillet was also great, just not much heat, better for the "girls." The BLT Avocado Omelette was really good, loaded with flavor. All were good but of course mine was the best! Great service, wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. I foresaw my return to this place a week ago. I must say, I'm glad it came true because this place is actually alright. So this time I decided to try their fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was vastly superior to the lemonade. I know that's an apples-to-orange comparison (no pun intended) but still, I am glad I went with my crowd on this one. Now, I decided to try their Triple 222 and it was a far more appetizing meal than the chicken and waffles I had last time. The eggs were alright, but the bacon and sausage were absolutely superb; I said nay to the potatoes due to my disdain for onions, and I decided to go for their grits as a substitute, which was alright as well! Only problem area was the pancakes...They looked flat and a bit burnt, and again, the bottle they serve syrup in was a pain to work with...But hey, 3 out of 4 isn't bad. I met a friend for breakfast at EggTown. I admit I was expecting some boring breakfast food. Actually I found my Cali omelette to be above normal. The egg portion was extra fluffy, which I like. Ate here the other day while stopping at trader joe's and it's now gonna be apart of our biweekly shopping trips! When i saw the power omelette on their online menu I thought "mom would love this" and she did. I got the blt omelette which was just as amazing. Their portions are huge and the omelettes come with home fries and a biscuit. They also had a few coffee options like caramel macchiato but i went with the oreo coffee and was not disappointed, it was delicious! It's pretty inside with good natural lighting and has an outside eating area. I loved the plant wall in the back. That was some of the most delicious breakfast we've had! We were told my relatives it was good, so we had to check it out. Note, even though we live in the Orange state, it doesn't meant it's cheap! Nearly $8 for a small fresh squeezed orange juice! It was delicious, but very pricey. I ordered the Florentine Benedict's and it was just the perfect ratio of everything and delicious. The home fries were plentiful and perfect. We also had the egg white steak omelette. It was flavorful and no fatty parts. It was like a steak & cheese in an omelette. I'm sure all the food is fantastic, I don't know because I can never seem to tear myself away from ordering anything other than the Benedict's! One day!! Now to the 'meat & potatoes' of my review.. their perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked breakfast potatoes (with bonus pan scrapping) is my first plate target. Normally in other places I don't even bother eating them as they seem to be added as a garnish rather than part of the meal. Uninspiring, unseasoned & undercooked. Eggtowns potatoes take center stage - as it should be, you're paying for them after-all right? My go to Benny is the steak, although Salmon and hash are on regular rotation. Perfect eggs, tangy Hollie and chewy muffin provide the perfect & reliable base then you can essentially 'build your benny' with your choice of proteins, veggies and cheeses - you can't go wrong! Great ambience, light & airy and above all, super clean. Staff super friendly and can see they actually like working here. I haven't seen any of the 'magicians' out back but tip of the hat Chef, you've found a winning formula - stick with it and please don't change a thing. Prices are neither expensive or cheap and hit the 'value bulleye' for fresh ingredients, great service, friendly staff, clean environment and inspiring menu. We were SO excited to see this new Eggtown location pop up near us! We used to frequent the Wesley Chapel location, which was always delicious too. This location did not disappoint! I got the power omelette, add onions and Swiss. It was GREAT, considering it was egg whites. The fruit cup was stacked, not like some lackluster fruit cups you get. The staff here are very friendly. Amanda was our server and was very sweet, attentive and accommodating. We ordered the waffle and sausage breakfast sandwich with potatoes and the breakfast croissant sandwich with avocado. Everything was delicious. We were able to sit on in patio area with our 2 pups. The staff here are very nice and brought them a bowl of water and their own doggy menu. The pups enjoyed their grilled chicken breast! We tried it yesterday for breakfast. They have renovated the restaurant and it is very nice and clean. We had a veggie omelette that was ok, but the eggs seemed to be pre- prepared. They were kind of rubbery, but the filling was very good and the potatoes were very good. We also had a grilled blueberry muffin that was good, but very light on the blueberries. The service was good but the prices were a bit on the high side. Was ok, but I don't think it will be a regular stop. read more

Eggtown caters to families - and this morning there were THREE small children whose SCREECHES ECHOED throughout the restaurant. It was BONE CHILLING! "Loud" does not begin to describe the painfully intrusive repetitive caterwauling we were subject to. We've eaten here before; but never on Sunday morning... and never again. read more
