Our waitress was so bubbly, lots of energy with a great personality. The restaurant is decorated cute. They had Christmas music on which was nice. The food here is amazing. This is one of our frequent places for breakfast and lunch. If you have not tried this place you need to. It's family owned and all ingredients they use cone locally. The fruit is always fresh. I like the fact they buy their products from fruit stands and other places here. You'll never be disappointed with service or the food. read more

I consider myself a connoisseur of biscuits and gravy, and am here to say that this is the BEST around. The amount of sausage is lacking at a lot of places, but not here. The owner told me upon mentioning this, that she also uses Italian sausage which added so much delicious flavor. I was there for a late lunch and the service was amazing and the food came out quick. Not what it used to be. Staff turnover with no old faces there, indifferent service. Friends said they stopped in at 1:45. - 45 minutes before closing- and were refused entrance; told that the grille had already been shut down. That's NOT how to serve your clientele. There is a group of ladies who always meet there for conversation and great food, and service. We have never been disappointed with whatever meal each of us orders, from expertly cooked egg dishes to a salad to a sandwich. Whenever possible, they will do your special request. My husband loved them and I tried a bite that was excellent. 4 Deviled Egg options (yes I said 4 woo hoo) including: Traditional , The Piggy (with bacon), Jalapeño and Green (avocado blended in). All excellent but the Piggy and Jalapeño were our top 2 by small margin. And I really appreciated that they sprinkled it with a hint of cayenne rather than the usual paprika (I'm borrowing that idea). I had the Irish Benedict Corned Beef hash and house made Hollandaise (they use Boar's Head Corned Beef Yum) And last but not least, the service was excellent! Thank you Heather. Decided to check out the quaint little spot that opened up in my neighborhood and so glad I did. Everything is made from scratch, our server Malek gave excellent service, and we for sure will be a regular! The place is immaculate and they follow all COVID rules for distancing. I took my kids here for lunch and was surprised that the macaroni and cheese was clearly Kraft powdered out of a box and their burger was a frozen patty. Also, my clam chowder tasted like Campbells from a can. Overpriced for what is being served, portions are small and so far nothing is fresh. I really want to support a local business but when corners are cut with food, it's difficult to do so. The service was good, but I had to correct the kids meal prices on the way out because I was charged more than then menu price. read more

Tried new breakfast dig. The breakfast burrito was great - the meat lover version had great mix of bacon and sausage. The cinnamon bun not baked on site, but still a nice tasty treat. They should serve it warm, but that's just my preference. The crepe wasn't baked fresh but with nice selection of fresh fruit made it ok. After we ordered, we heard their eggs Benedict are a specialty. They are new so we figure they have a few kinks to work out. Next stop ... we'll keep you posted! read more

Relocating my workouts from Clearwater YMCA to the Geigle YMCA on EastLake, I was concerned about where I would go to refuel after the pain! :-p Doing a recon, I found this little gem! The interior setting, accented by relaxing colors, provides a great laid back vibe. The staff has evolved into providing hospitality to the customer. Heather, the owner, is always looking to improve on her high standards. The menu provides breakfast and lunch options for all. I haven't had a bad meal here yet. Oh, one of the stars here are the pancakes! Just try them! Consistency is paramount here at The Nesting Grounds and eating here at least twice a week, I can testify to that. I have been coming to the Nesting Ground almost since it opened. First this place is by far the cleanest restaurant anywhere, just check out the bathrooms. The food is better then great. The best start for a meal is the coffee. It's fresh, hot and consistent. The staff is attentive and always on the spot with refills. I am a creature of habit and mostly order the same meals. The salads are fresh and I never had a bad breakfast. They have an extensive variety of menu items and specials. It has been my place to go 3 or 4 times a week. Don't come once and review. Go several times and then tell us what you think. This is my first review of anything and if I write another review it will be from numerous experiences. read more

I was so bummed about our meal here. We love supporting local restaurants. We wanted to come here for breakfast but ended up coming for lunch. Our group tried the- Reuben sandwich, Cuban sandwich, chicken salad over a salad, another salad I don't remember the name of, and a kids Mac n Cheese. I was surprised by the prices as I thought it would be a little cheaper than what it was but was ok with it because we were supporting local. We got our food and it was such a let down. I included a picture of my husband's Cuban sandwich. It was literally two small slices of lunch meat. For the price that's ridiculous. I can go to Cuban breezes and get a packed Cuban sandwich for less than $7. My husband had to take lunch meat from our house and add it to his sandwich so he wasn't just eating bread. The chicken salad was ok but was runny and had a lot of liquid. The kids Mac n cheese looked like it was from a Kraft's box. The quality wasn't there for me and neither was the price. We will see if we try breakfast here but are hesitant after this experience. read more

One of the worst breakfast places I've ever been to! I gave it three tries too. Everything tastes like it's been soaked in margarine and it takes forever to get food. Service was horrendous as was the wait time to get the food ordered and quality of food. My server was incompetent for what she was 'suppose' to do. Had to wait for water, my meal that was sitting in the window waiting to be picked up to be served and for the styrofoam box that the waitress gave me for my philly cheese steak sandwich. the sandwich had to be folded in half BECAUSE THE CONTAINER WAS TOO SMALL!!!!! Everyone around us that came in after us, was served before us. 45 minutes later, I was finally served my eggs Bennie which were raw and had broken yolks. At that point I gave up and left. Went there looking to order espresso but found this little cafe place. The food was EXCELLENT! Ordered a corn beef hash with eggs, side order of grits and pancakes. The pancakes were the best. Not all pancakes taste the same but this pancake can be eaten without syrup. The corn beef is home made not from a can, and you can't go wrong with the grits. Water taste filtered so that's a huge plus, especially in our area. And the coffee is not your typical breakfast restaurant coffee. Their regular coffee taste better than Starbucks. read more
