I can't believe I got charged $12 for this smh Where's the Pork?? All I can taste is burnt bread and mustard. Should have gone with my gut and not reviews, taste buds are lacking in this area. We were greeted by the, VERY polite owner(Paul), that givin' a bunch of suggestions on what to order. He's been open for business since 2001, so I'm more that happy to support local businesses I had the Philly Cheesesteak, that was cooked RIGHT in front of me, and it came out PIPING hot! We each had the charbroiled cheddar cheese burger with lettuce & mayonnaise. It was as good as or better than what Husband makes at home - and I thought his were the best! The fries are also very tasty. Inside there are two low tables, and three high tops. You can also sit at a high bar area, looking out at Klosterman road. Against the back wall are cold alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in a cooler. A variety of wines is on another wall. If you want to be entertained, a flat screen tv is tuned to ESPN on the wall opposite the entrance. read more

Cheese Steak fed me two plus meals plus it was really good. They had a small area to eat in front of the deli so we took our dog. They brought her a small sample of cheese and meat!!!!!! The "cooks" were very friendly and keep checking on us to see if everything was OK. Not a large place inside but they did have 5 or 6 tables. Every trip we make down from up north, this is one of our foodie stops. Philly steak is excellent, one of my favs. My wife can't stop by without the fries and of course the burgers are great as others say! The bread for the sandwiches just tops it off, and perfectly lightly crispy yet soft. Flavor is epic! The owner is great and really goes out of his way to make sure you are thrilled with your food. My family and I have ordered from here several times but don't think about making changes to the sandwiches he makes (lol) We've had many different sandwiches (The All Nighter, Italian, The Royale, and we even got a grilled chicken sandwich) all of them were delicious but my favorite thing is the Chicken and rice dish. Can't get enough of it. They even had a buy 1, get 1 last time we ordered. They have beer and wine, and also sell many types of wines if you want to bring a bottle home. The lady who brought my food was super nice (sorry I'm bad with names - but you're awesome!) Ordered the chicken kabobs and salmon. Both came with rice, pita, and grilled vegetables. Also order the cheeseburger special which included fries. Chicken (breast) kabobs was lightly seasoned and cooked just right as meat were juicy and tasted fresh. The tzatziki sauce was delicious and went well with the chicken. Rice was fluffy and had good flavor. Salmon tasted flaky tender and had a great char taste. It also came with its own sauce which was sweet teriyaki tasting. The burger was thick, juicy, and had great beefy taste. Lastly the service was super friendly and quick. They appear to feed lots of staff for the neighboring college and appear to be skilled at getting you served fast. Totally recommend and would come back! read more

This is located in a convince store that has a deli case, flat grill & a few other kitchen supplies behind the counter. I called ahead to order, as I had never been there & had no idea what to expect Besides the owner, who lacks in customer service & a welcoming attitude, we were the only 1 in the store. Either service has changed or people don't know a good Cuban! It was in a good bread, but not Cuban! It advertised Boars Head products, that all well & good, but show me the pork!! No Cuban bread, no pork..... No Cuban sandwich, anyway you look at it They may have great sandwiches, but they should not even advertise a Cuban. For once you guys steered me wrong, way wrong. I had a Cuban that was practically burnt. It wasn't just pressed, it was crispy with some charr on it. It was also very dry, even the meat was dry. Owner was thoughtless and could care less when a child tripped on a damaged part of his floor and needed a bandaid. Was not aware that it was a hazard and said that no one has ever tripped on it before. Apparently there was a small amount of pipe sticking out above the tile line. Just from the short time I was there, I was really appalled at the owner and His lack of professionalism . He just came off as I'm better than you. I won't be back. The Cuban is one of the best in the Tampa area! The bread is perfectly toasted with garlic butter and the bread is flakey like a pastry. The meat is quality, boars head is good stuff! The only thing I would like to see is a shredded Mojo Pork. The sandwich says their is Mojo in the sandwich but I didn't see it. I went to Paul's deli in Tarpon Sorings a couple of days ago and had a terrible experience. The owner made my order incorrectly then blamed it on my husband and said he ordered it wrong. The man behind the counter wrote my order down correctly in big letters but the owner cooking the burger never read it and instead was asking my husband to buy French fry's and other items. When I received my burger it had melted cheese when my husband ordered it PLAIN!!! Just onions and ketchup! i politely brought it to the owner's attention but he blamed it on my husband saying he ordered it wrong. He then said if he made me another one I would have to wait ( even so there was NO ONE IN THE DELI) Then he said " Your husband will need to pay another $12 for the burger I'm making you again" He even added " who do you think is going to eat that now, it's a $12 burger" I could not believe what he just said. I was raised in a family deli , I owned a restaurant and a catering business and I never ever treated any of my customers so rudely and unfair. Those quotes are the owners exact words. Everything I said here is EXACTLY what happened. Furthermore I posted a review about this on his website but he took it down so I guess he only keeps the good reviews up for people to see. Shame on you Paul's deli. You should have owned up to your mistake and made me a burger that I could actually eat and enjoy. You didn't care at all.
