Restaurant

Perfect lunch spot! The decor is all things New York including awning and signs inside. The menu is large but the server can answer any question you have. Service was fast and the dessert was also delicious at the bakery!

This is such a cute restaurant. It's decorated with New York decor. The menu has a good selection, they have some authentic New York dishes. I got half a sandwich with a salad. The portion was much bigger than I thought it would be. The food was very good. They have a counter where you can purchase as much bakery as you would like. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a very nice place.

Beefeater- beef brisket, corned beef, roast beef, Swiss and a side of au jus. Served with amazing crunchy coated French fries.

This is a great restaurant and bakery combo! The way to do it is to go in the bakery and look at all of the delicious options that you can take home after your meal because you will be too full to have dessert in the restaurant! Then eat in the restaurant and circle back into the bakery to order goodies to take home. The menu is extensive and based around things found in a NYCity deli, however, there are plenty of hot dishes and Italian options. Everything is fresh and delicious! Prices are fair as you are served quite generous portions. I'm a big eater and took half my meal home. Servers are friendly and full of helpful information regarding the menu items. Always a nice place for lunch!

We stopped by for lunch. We both ordered the full sized Rachel. The sandwiches were huge and tasty. I can definitely recommend them. We also ordered their onion rings. They are usually quite good but today they were under cooked and the breading was falling off. We've tried all of the different sides that can come with a meal: coleslaw, potato salad and macaroni salad. All of them are sub-par. The only reliable side is the French fries and they are an upcharge. The service was good and the ambiance was as usual. There is a change that has happened. In short, they will no longer be offering the free bread basket and the free desserts with your meal. Times and tariffs are changing everything.

Wonderful staff and waitress. Both sandwiches were very average. The tiramisu on the other hand- to die for. The place is very fun if you're looking for a classic New York diner experience. Would come back again for the bakery and vibes, but for traditional sandwiches I would look elsewhere.

Corned beef hash, two eggs over easy, hash, brown potatoes, and a whole wheat toast

I went to church on a Sunday morning church let out about 10:30 AM and I headed north to the Lucky dill deli. What a great trip. It was not bad traffic beautiful weather day. I arrived at 10:45 AM was immediately seated at a nice high top and the bartender Steve was taken care of me. I was originally there for a brisket sandwich but they weren't serving lunch until 11 AM. Steve said they aren't serving breakfast gave me the menu. I ordered corned beef hash, two eggs over easy a generous portion of hashbrowns and wheat toast. It was awesome and only $10 after I enjoyed my meal. I started walking out the door, but I was drawn in to the dessert room purchased a piece of coconut cloud cake, and the rest is history you have to go. I'm going back this week for that brisket sandwich and maybe some cheesecake.

It is with deepest regret that I have taken this restaurant off of my list of places I love to eat. The restaurant is dirty, the new menu is much smaller. Food was so salty that I took one home for the dog. The service was by far the worst I have ever had. Took forever to order. Our waitress was covering the bar. While wait staff was standing around with there tables well served, nothing was happening to us. We had to go in search of ours waitress. How would you like to be seated at this booth? We were. The Rubin was well stacked. No longer came with a pickle or small spice of cheese cake. The delicious bread basket is no longer offered.

After many years I gave brunch at Lucky Dill another try and today was decent. The house made corned beef hash was full of flavor (although a little greasy) and the biscuits and gravy were savory. The hash browns were a tad underwhelming but nothing a little salt couldn't fix. Their menu is MUCH smaller these days which is nice but also missing a little bit of variety. Service was a bit unique. No one greeted us when we walked in, to the point we wondered if they were actually open on serving customers. After a few minutes we were taken to a take by a very friendly server. We weren't given plates to share a starter so luckily my brunch partner didn't mind eating from the same plate. No spoon for my coffee so I improvised and used my knife. Nothing terrible but room for improvement.

Corned beef pastrami reuben

My last visit...makes me sad because this WAS a great place to get a corned beef or pastrami sandwich in the area. My sandwich today was too salty and the meat was tough. No more daily specials, no more happy hour menu no.morw cheesecake incluses,no more bread service, no more $15 reubens on Wednesday. Since ownership changed ha ds this pla e has gone downhill.

What a find! Went to visit an older Italian relative in the area. She is not doing well and stays…read moreat home most of the time so she asked that we just bring over some sandwiches during our visit. Decided to do something a little more special and more unique than just a pub sub. Went by this place and was blown away. So pleased to find that it reminds me of the real Italian deli grocery stores in New York and ones in Europe. Immaculately clean with lots of beautiful imported, pastas and other foods. Anything you can find on Arthur Ave or in Manhattan, you can find here. They have lots of nice pastries, including Sfogliatella as well as Italian cookies and torrone. They sell meats, imported pastas and other Italian staples. They even sell Brioschi! IYKYK The sandwiches were delicious and the bread was great too. All kinds of interesting deli offerings. Can't wait to visit her again and make that stop. I wasn't at all surprised to find out that some older relatives who had passed on used to drive out there as a favorite spot for picking up things for the home. Bella!

Okay first and foremost, if you go at lunchtime then prepare for a crowd. You must take a number…read morewhen you enter. If you don't you will regret it. If you have been to Katz's Deli in New York then you have an idea of the frenzy you will enter. I ordered the Mona Lisa on the soft hoagie roll and a small antipasto salad. After ordering you have to find a place to stand and wait. There is no seating and people are all over the place I received my order and left quickly because people were still arriving. Let take a minute to say the staff was pleasant and efficient. Taking orders quickly and trying to move things along as fast as possible. Once back at the office I was able to sit comfortably and try my meal. I love eggplant and a well cooked eggplant with a good marinara sauce is define. This sandwich was define. The was the right amount of eggplant making for a good size sandwich that was not too big to bite. I'm so glad I chose the soft roll because I couldn't imagine how hard the hard roll would be. The antipasto was good not great but enjoyable. All in all I give them 4.2 due to the chaotic ordering process. I will return.
