Consistent....always good food and service....its my go to breakfast place....i would recommend this place.

Heyyyyyy you guyyyyyyys!! Went here for the pancakes and was so disappointed, they were not very good-low on flavor. The Philly omelette was good as were the biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy with home fries and sour dough were good as well. Tina was amazing, super attentive to our large party and all of her other tables. This place is definitely liked by many as it was packed. read more

The best breakfast place I've been to in this area! The staff was phenomenal. So nice, so attentive, and just really made this a pleasant experience. They recommended the crab and shrimp omelette and it exceeded my expectations!! The portions are enormous so come hungry. They have indoor and outdoor seating options, and were pet friendly outside! Went in several times! Last couple times I ordered eggs over medium and they over cooked the yolks to where they were solid! Mentioned it to the cashier the first time and she told me to come back and they will comp my meal. Went back a week later and she wasn't working but I ordered the same thing and once again, overcooked!!! I asked for the manager and it ended up he was the one that cooked my eggs! Instead of comping my meal after I told him that this was the second time in a week that this happened, he informed me that he was the one that actually cooked my eggs and only gave me $5 off my meal. I will not return and I tell as many people as I can! read more

Delicious lunch at Flapjacks. Their chicken salad is really good and all the fresh fruit it came with was perfectly ripe (even the cantaloupe & honeydew which almost never happens) And if you like New England style clam chowder, theirs is delicious. I got a cup. It was so good. I wish I'd ordered a bowl. They have fantastic breakfast as well and all the servers are so nice. Best pancakes/flapjacks in Palm Harbor. We need to try it Friday for all you can eat fish. I think it's from 3 PM to 6 PM. Highly recommended read more

Stopped in Flapjacks Pancake House for the first time this morning and had a great experience!! Was greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. Had no wait and was able to choose where I would like to sit which was nice. My server, Stephanie was absolutely fantastic in her service for the entire duration of my dining time!!! She helped make menu recommendations which was excellent!!! I ordered one of the specials, the Supreme Omelette with home fried potatoes, side of sourdough toast & side of grits. The omelette was delicious and served hot!! Flavor of the food was excellent as well!!! Grits were perfect too!!! Looking forward to checking them out again sometime for some additional menu choices!! Kudos to the kitchen staff for doing an excellent job on the food!!! read more

Bring Cash and Be Hungry What sets this place apart isn't their food or location but the people who work here. An unassuming breakfast diner in a strip mall that seems to be a local favorite. The menu is vast with all of the traditional favorites and some cool seasonal things to spice it up. The prices are ok, a little high for this type of food, but in line with the current price climate and the portions are decent. Take a seat at the bar or wait for a table or booth. Whatever you choose you will be greeted and taken care of by the most energetic and sweetest ladies I have met in a long time. They truly make you feel at home and that is what will keep me coming back. Now for the food Coffee - good but was watered down. May have been an off day. I like that they offer flavored creamers. Eggs Benedict- I did risk it on this one because outside of very high end restaurants very few get it right. I would say it was ok. Not the best I've had but still very good. Getting the sauce right is a skill for sure. If you aren't a Benedict snob you will like it. Hash browns were perfect. If you are in the mood for a homey environment with some no fuss good basic breakfast I definitely recommend flapjacks BEWARE : Bring Cash otherwise they charge an additional 4% for card transactions read more

We order from Flapjack's several times a week for takeout. Breakfasts are great! Lunch items are very good too. I particularly like their chicken salad on croissant when I'm not in the mood for their French Dip. read more

I've been here before with my mom and sister, and really enjoyed the old home-style diner feel, food and hospitality. Today, I came in for a later brunch, and wasn't disappointed. My server, Stephanie, was very cheery. I had a few questions and she was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. One item I ordered was out of stock after a very busy morning. She was sincerely apologetic and offered other options -- how could anyone possibly be upset?! Much of the value I place on the dining experience is the people. I felt welcomed and appreciated. I enjoyed a three-egg veggie omelette with fresh fruit and sourdough toast, served with a smile. Just the way I like it. read more

"Flapjacks has officially become our family's go-to. The food was Incredible ,Even Better Service! "If you're near Safety Harbor or Clearwater, you have to try Flapjacks. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. We've been three times now, and despite the weekend crowds, the wait is always shorter than expected. Nate (Manager) and Emmy (Server) provide top-tier service that you just don't see much anymore. My omelette was incredibly fluffy, and my wife finally found a place that serves bacon exactly as crispy as she likes it. Massive serving sizes and professional staff. 5 stars all the way!" P.S. The Crepes: A fantastic dessert that finished the meal perfectly. read more

I have been here for breakfast and they are good minimum 4 stars. I came here just before 6pm because they have an AYCE fish dinner. It is fried haddock, fries and Cole slaw. I have seen the sign but this is the first time I had the opportunity to give it a try. When I arrived the place was 3/4 full. I placed my order and sat back. I got water to start. The food came out shorty so I got started. The fries were crispy and just needed some salt and pepper vinegar would have been great but my waitress was being run ragged. She was really nice. The clientele was mostly older and the cost was $14. The Coleslaw was basic but okay for the price. You get 2 pieces of fish and that lets you judge how much you can eat. The place is a diner where you can get breakfast and lunch that stays open late on Fridays for the fish dinner. There is a lot is conversation but not overly loud. Basically it is what it is. The haddock is good and I added hot sauce and it came with coleslaw. I give it 4.2 stars because they do the job. read more

Outstanding breakfast! We were warmly greeted by Tonya with a great smile! I ordered blueberry crepes and a side of cheese grits. My husband had sausage, home fries and eggs. A nice little diner off of -19, friendly service and great food selection. Great for a quick bite or full lunch! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and the food is delicious and hardy. The staff is SUPER nice! This is a management issue imo. If you're looking for a quick breakfast sammich on the go, this is NOT the spot you wana stop. First thing is you cannot order just a sandwich... it includes a side that you are paying for regardless. The sandwich almost immediately fell apart, extremely messy. They also did not put the mayonnaise on it that I asked for. And home fries that I ordered crispy couldn't be further from that. Just a bunch of mushy taters. And WHY do you have off brand ketchup? It's such a minimal cost to offer a namebrand ketchup option‍ read more

This place a good old diner feeling. Outgoing wait staff that will remember you quickly after just a few visits. Meals are good and plenty of food. lol It is rare I don't bring home leftovers for lunch the next day. Bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a Friday Fish Fry this is the place. They only serve dinner once a week on Friday. Yelp will say they're closed but they are open. Do you love clam chowder? Give theirs a try. I'm so pleased with everything at this local diner! It was such a dining experience with excellent food, service and friendliness of staff that I forgot to take pics of our food. We were so hungry and food looked so amazing, we dove straight in without taking any pictures. However, the French Toast, Pancakes, Grits, Eggs & Bacon was off the rails excellent! Did I mention the atmosphere, the customers dining in were so friendly with great conversation. The manager, Manny was very engaged with all who dined in and attentive to their needs. The staff is a reflection of his leadership and outstanding customer service with a smile. Our server, Dundee was so amazing and took care of us from the time we were seated until we left. It was my first time here, and I wasn't too impressed by the food or service. At first, I was excited to try the strawberry banana split waffle with chocolate sauce which sounded decadent and indulgent. But when I tried it, the waffles weren't crispy enough for me and tasted soggy and cold. Inside was spacious and clean but service was slow and subpar. Our waitress took a long time to pick up our check and forgot to give us a pen to sign the receipt. PRO: cheap breakfast, under $20 for 2 people CONS: subpar food and service read more

We came here with the recommendations of our friends who have come here before. I wanted to try the clam chowder since it's supposed to be the best in town. It was 100% true! Lots of clams even has some bacon in it and nice and creamy with potatoes. Excellent please don't change a thing on that. I also got a house salad to go with it and everything was nice and fresh even the tomatoes and cucumbers. Hubby got the fish and chips. Very happy and nice portion. Keep up the good work! Manuel even comes over to every table and thanks you for coming in. Nice touch! Only thing I would suggest is please turn the beer up colder. It's hot outside and a cold beer is very refreshing. It's all good. The location on hwy 19 is best. Great food fair prices healthy portions. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Good old fashion home cooking. My dad recently passed he didn't like going out to eat anywhere but he loved eating at flap jacks. The service is great the wait staff is very pleasant, very helpful. Our go to place when family or friends visit from other parts of the US. The ambiance is that grandmas kitchen. Sitting in a huge kitchen with grandma cooking like crazy. The smell of grease biscuits snd gravy is a heavenly scent. Both locations are great. The one on 19 is a little larger, with more room between the tables. Third time visiting the palm harbor location, so the food is decent and it's conveniently located near family. Today, we arrive 2 mins before our family. We requested to sit in the only available booth (we're booth people). The Mgr was also hosting and said since it's for a party of four, we can't seat you until all four are here. I said, I know what they want to eat so we can place there order...we will not hold up service. The Mgr refused to seat us, pulled the people behind us up to the front of line, and sat them at the booth we requested. We both got loud. She said, you want to take this outside?! (I'm a non confrontational person...well dressed, speak decent, a business owner...I was shocked!). Being shocked, I said, yes let's go lol She got us outside then locked the door!!!! Lol I couldn't believe the actions of a manager. We truly only requested the booth and stated we could place the entire parties order but we must've looked cross eyes at her or something...maybe she didn't take her meds but we will never ever return to the palm harbor location. The three servers gathered around the checkout area...looked like they would be beat if they said a word to us. One rolled her eyes at the action of the Mgr. Hey Mr/Mrs Owner: you've got a real prob with the Mgr at your Palm Harbor location. And to the Manager: We are they very people that always over tip (bless) our servers. It's common to tip the equivalent of the meal. That's our thing. We love blessing others and seeing the smiles. read more

Quite possibly the best waffle I have ever had, this place is amazing! My husband had the veggie omelette with home fries and pancakes, which were equally delicious. The outside seating was a lovely was to enjoy Sat brunch. The mimosas were served unmixed (split bottle and orange juice) which was a nice twist to mix your own abs basically you got two-for-one price. The staff were courteous, friendly, and prompt. Everything came out just as ordered. It was obvious that the food was freshly prepared because it was still hot upon arrival. The menu is quite extensive serving breakfast, lunch, and more. The portions are large and prices are more than reasonable. This is definitely a must do brunch stop. read more

Flap-Jacks was a pretty good restaurant for homestyle breakfast. I ordered the Mexican omelette with home fries and a side of biscuits and gravy. The Mexican omelette was delicious, but the biscuits and gravy were not very good. The service wasn't great but I'm not taking off the additional star I usually would for that because the set up here is a little chaotic. The restaurant has the feel of a Homestyle type restaurant, where you take your ticket up to the register. But the setup with the waitresses is that they have to each ring their own tickets at one register, which causes some chaos and waiting at the front. That stress and chaos is equating to short tempers with fellow employees and forgotten requests on orders. My waitress forgot a few things on my order, nothing too crucial, but something that I wanted and didn't get. If a manager or owner is reading this, I really think you need to have a register person at the front ringing tickets and let the waitresses do their job and waitress. It was clear that your waitresses are under a lot of pressure at the front with picking up orders and waiting in line at that one register to ring up their customers. A register person that's not a waitress sitting there ringing up people would alleviate stress on your waitresses and make your customers happier. read more
