If you want some quick, cheap Korean food, this is the go to place. It's pretty good for fast food Korean. I really like their magic sauce. However, it's not as quality as what you would get at a nicer Korean restaurant. I'm Korean myself so it definitely isn't the best Korean I ever had. i love flame broiler. i love the fact this location is close to my work and it's quick and easy while being healthy and delicious. parking is ample. theres a few other things in the plaza and it's new. a mini bowl with chicken and onions is my go to. i try to be healthy and go with the brown rice option, but really the white rice is where it's at. i always regret it instantly when i get the brown rice. tv usually plays whatever sports game is on. read more

I like coming here for a somewhat healthy meal. White meat chicken stacked high with a healthy portion of cabbage, carrots and broccoli on a bed of brown rice. I stay away from the beef because it's over seasoned, but the chicken isn't, so you're not overeating on the sweet stuff. I don't usually write bad reviews but I am currently experiencing the symptoms one might expect if they consumed bad food. I'm confident that it is the Flame Boiler food that caused this because it's the only food I've had all day and it's late afternoon. The lady behind the counter got my order wrong and some of the meat was unchewable. The place was clean and the meal was completed quickly so you get a star for that. Comfy space, average place. Came here for a quick lunch on a work day with a friend. Lured by the availability of brown rice and other supposed eating-out healthiness. Using a coupon, I got a chicken bowl, and the friend got the beef bowl. Food was fine but pretty plain and a little dry, causing us to go to the (probably unhealthy) sauce bar. Of course, you get what you pay for, but there's a way to do healthy while still being tasty. Not horrible, just really forgettable (for me), so I'd stick to my own packed concoctions over this. read more

Dry, hard, & small pieces of old meat! I thought I would try this restaurant as they advertise a healthier alternative. I chose it based on the pictures on the menu. The food came quickly(it was cold), however the beef plate came with less than one cup of rice and a small amount of dried out hard beef, the food was 3/4 full and did not come close to what the photo showed. They claim to offer a NEW sesame Chinese salad which is just chopped up lettuce with a few shredded carrots and sliced oranges, and the chicken was hard and dry. They offer a salad dressing (tiny) that taste like oil, no sesame, no citrus flavor! I do not recommend this restaurant, it is not healthy,it was a disappointment and not worth the cost for meager porportions. read more

Came into this place for a quick dinner first there was water under the soda machine no wet floor sign nothing No one seem to be concerned with costumers standing around it as I sat down with my daughter to have dinner she had a reaction to the food that didn't sit to well and vomited on the table and floor , as a mother I cleaned her up first and told the young girls at the front hey my daughter had an accident and they seem to care less , at that point I cleaned up the mess still with napkins form no help from anyone or asking if everything is ok I walk up to the counter I ask for a refund or a new plate they were hesitant and the older lady in the back didn't seem to friendly I felt uncomfortable and had several concerns as for infection control in a food establishment why wasn't the floor cleaned up immediately why wasn't the table top wiped down the order of the vomit lingered in the place and no one did anything until after the fact I asked a young girl hey do you have Lysol disinfectant to at least clean up why was she cleaning other areas that didn't seek immediate attention to where there was vomit I didn't expect her to clean up after me but I'm sure there is a protocol to follow if in event happens it had me extremely concerned with food handling of my daughter got sick from it maybe the establishment isn't as clean as we assume when we walk in even after As I was walking away with a refund the girl still didn't move to go mop the area Eddie supervisor/manager please go over public safety and health with your employees this is an outrage and un expectable poor costumer service read more

I'm not the greatest fan of this place, but it does in a pinch. We were driving down Colorado, coming home from Target when the family screamed "We're Hungry!!!" So, I said, "Flame Broiler". The kids were fine with a kid bowl each, the wife and I split a combo chicken and beef. The meat was dry, the rice was dry, the salad was all cabbage and carrots. Thank God for the free flowing sauce bar. After moistening the meat up, it now was too sweet. $-@&@&....can't win. We ate half of it and brought the rest home. My wife said never again. I'd just like to say, I eat flame broiler here at this location & at Alhambra, and theirs a huge difference in servings. I get ripped off here. I don't complain because it's my best source of protein and carbs. But they don't fill the plate up at all. The rice servings is half of what I get in Alhambra, and the meat servings is ridiculous. I can eat two bowls here and one in Alhambra. If I'm paying $20 a day, I expect full servings. I spend $80-100 a week at flame broiler, I expect more food per plate. read more

Says here they close at 10:00. They actually close at 9:00. I just got there at 8:56 and they were closed already. Nice customer service.

So I came here last night around 8:15pm "45 minutes before closing" and I found it so rude for the cashier to be sweeping while my self and other customers where still there eating. I work in a restaurant and our waitstaff are told that, in NO circumstances should they sweep the floor near people who are seated and eating, they have to wait until the section is clear. Also this location needs to work on their customer service I wasn't even greeted when I stood there to place my order. read more

I went in on Wednesday bought two angus bowls for dine in not only were they only halfway full but the quality of the food has gone down immensely. The vegetable were rotten and the rice was hard. RUBYs horrible attitude as a cashier didnt help either. If im over paying for fast food it should at least be good and not rotten. Get a new friendlier cashier who doesnt hate her job. read more

(Wednesday, 12/18/2013 about 1:30 - place was empty, ordered to go) NOT GOOD FOLKS. Let me count the ways. I got a sampler plate with beef, beef short ribs & white meat chicken with vegetables, salad, brown rice to go. The beef had a good flavor but was dry as the Sahara desert, tough, and cold as ice - as though it had been sitting for a long while. Had the cook attempted to re-warm it - it would have been beef jerky bites - so I guess that's why he decided to plop cold beef on my plate. The 3 short ribs had a miniscule amount of meat on them. That teaspoon of meat was tasty though. If I were a dog - I'd be happy with the meatless bones - but I'm not. The white meat chicken had a weird (un-fresh) taste. It was not seasoned at all and was dry, tough - but hot. (only because I asked the cashier 3 times to make sure I was getting white meat. He still forgot to tell him... so the cook had to re-fire it). The salad (cole slaw mix) had no dressing whatsoever - just dry carrots and cabbage. The veges (cabbage & one carrot circle - no broccoli as shown) were barely cooked, unseasoned and cold - and was basically the same as the salad - only bigger pieces. Both flavorless and inedible. I also asked him to make sure I got brown rice 3 times. When the order came up... white rice. I had him give me the brown rice on the side as I was tired of waiting and had to go. The brown rice was the only item that did not have some sort of problem with it. I will stick to San Sai and I will not be returning to Flame Broiler. This was my first and last time I patronize this place. That's too bad because the flavor profile (of the beef) is there - but the EXECUTION is all wrong. It is low calorie - but that's because most of it was inedible ... and I threw 75% of it away. What a funky way to cut calories. read more
