I love this place. Great tasting food and abundant portions. My combo C couldn't even close in its container. They have an overwhelming amount of options for you to choose from in addition to some menu items you can order from the kitchen rather than the line. They also have two coolers full of drinks and a menu for slushees and teas with boba. The options here are seemingly endless. This is my go to Chinese take out spot in Pasadena. Service was extremely quick and servings were huge. The cashier was very friendly, quickly packaged everything and included all extra sauces, utensils, and napkins. The black pepper chicken is always tender and HOT every time i go. The chow mien is thick and is flavorful. They fill your soda to the brim. I don't like saying this but.... Just keep driving. There are a number of food places around there. While I have not tried many of them I would venture in there before coming back here. Broccoli beef was slimy, peppered chicken was out of a frozen bag or something. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't pre-made stuff that was reheated. I don't mind cheap, fast Chinese food but I didn't even finish most of this and that's saying something. Co worker recommended this place a couple of times and mentioned how kind the ladies are inside. I finally ordered from them and they were busy and I felt bad because this lady in scrubs (dentist,caregiver, nurse, whatever I don't want to generalize this) was giving the lady a hard time. Clearly they were not understanding and the customer had a thick thick accent so that did not help the situation but i minded my own business but I just hope the workers see this and know I really appreciated them and the soup was so good. From the outside, this looks like the typical hole-in- the wall joint. I know that a meal would be less than $7 bucks around here, so I wasn't expecting Ruth's Chris. The food was mediocre/decent. In all fairness I had a bowl and tried the chow mien and the beef with broccoli. It didn't amaze me, but the price was alright. You might not like to hear this, but in all honesty I would spend a buck more and go to Panda Express. If you know me, you'd know that I do prefer locally owned spots rather than chains. BIG PORTIONS, GREAT PRICES! Tried this place for the first time tonight and I loved it. The egg rolls were delicious. I had the two item combo with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Both were delicious and tasted very fresh. The chow menu and fried rice were good too. This just goes to show you that you can't always trust the amount of stars a restaurant has on yelp, because if I trusted the 3 1/2 stars that this place has I wouldn't have tried it. But this is one dish that is definitely my go to. chicken fried rice. though just by me saying it's my go to doesn't make it the best in the west. the chicken doesn't have any flavor so it's better to eat this with some sauce of some kind but it's definitely my go to because the portions they give you are definitely worth the buck and the rice is the best in my opinion. my most favorite rice from my local chinese food places. read more

BIG PORTIONS! It's worth the money because of the bang for your buck. That moment at Panda where you wish the lady would put more orange chicken does not happen at Fusion Bowl. They really pack it on the plate. Btw, I got the orange chicken and it was a bit too tangy. The beef & broccoli was okay, but the chow mein hit the spot. It's all worth it though. One plate is GREAT for couples if one has the habit of nibbling at food. On a scale of 1-Panda Express, this is a solid 8. Another btw: I don't think Panda Express is the benchmark for Chinese food. One customer advised them to wash their hands before touching TOGO box and wrapping food for customers, they got very upset and kept complaining and still wouldn't like to wash their hands. Those ladies should be fired from this restaurant, too low class and not educated. Restaurant servers should wash hands with soap before touching food box and wrapping food for each customer. Avoid this place by all means. If you are looking to pay outrageous prices for combo plates that claim to have meat in them this is not the place to go. I ordered kung Pao chicken and was given Kung Pao vegetables. My husband ordered potatoes chicken and was given potatoes and onions. When I addressed the issue the person said that is how the plate comes and I suggested they call the dish potatoes and onions and not potato chicken. The total for the plates with the minimalist amount of rice and noodles with vegetables totaled $20. Considering how the economy is I am not about to have someone spend their little money that they might have on a crappy meal and rude customer service. I was very clear about how they were ripping people off and she started yelling back. This is a small Chinese fast food spot, nothing fancy. Prices are good ($) and customer service is nice as well. The location is in a shopping center and there is almost always plenty of parking. I have been here a few times and feel it is comparable to other spots in the area. The location does have tables if you'd like to sit and eat, I almost always order to go. I order pretty basic here orange chicken, and chow mein bowl usually. I ordered the super pack on NYE for $25 which includes: two fried rice boxes, two chow mein boxes, three boxes of your choice, soup, egg rolls and cookies. Pretty good deal in my opinion but I noticed if you were to order a couple two option combos the amount of food is comparable and cheaper. The chow mein, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli was good. The fried rice was just okay, and the kung pao chicken was not good in my opinion. My boyfriend said he usually sticks to the basics here and feels the price is right for quality. We ordered dumplings as well which I would not order again in the future. The lady was nice and gave us a free soup as well because it was evening and they'd be closing soon. My son and self both enjoyed the egg drop and sweet and sour soups. This would not be the first Chinese fast food spot I'd choose but it is an option. Great customer service, prices, and a few good dishes are what make me come back. read more

They have a decent selection of food, and it's seemingly fresh. But I'm irritated that they charged me for whip cream on my smoothie. NO place does that....and you can't understand the gal working. I couldn't understand IF she was trying to tell me it was an extra charge. Her accent was super heavy, and combining that with her wearing the mask literally made it like I was trying to understand another language. So when she charges me extra for something I didn't realize there was a charge for, naturally I'm going to be upset. I shouldn't have to say "what" or "excuse me" 30 times to figure out what's going on. To top it off, it was complete garbage. Tasted horrible and was watery. I tossed it out. Waste of money. They also have a plastic shield up which is good, but it's not flat. They obviously repurposed some other piece, but it's difficult to see there menu. As a first, and absolutely last(!), experience....I will never be going back. Fast food chinese places are a dime a dozen, especially in Pasadena. read more
