Part of the reason was I couldn't find a place I like nearby. I'm so lucky this place is only 5 minutes from my house. The place is so incredibly clean and their sanitary practices are perfection. That has been a big problem finding a place in wheeling that follows all the rules, where this place does all they are supposed to do and more. The inside is beautiful and they offered me coffee or tea. I had brought my own coffee so they gave me a little tray with some treats on it. Oksana was so kind and very thorough. My feet are like as smooth as a baby's feet right now and my polish is beautiful. I will definitely be returning!

I was easily able to make a same day appointment. When I arrived, no one was there and the shop was locked! I waited a few more minutes & called the shop and they said someone would be there soon. I'm guessing this place only has someone there if they have a scheduled appointment - however it definitely frustrated me that my nail tech was late. Once inside, I was impressed with the color selection and how nice and clean the salon was. The tech did a great job on my gel manicure and my pedicure. However, since I was the only one there she rushed me to leave and didn't check if my toes were dried- so by the time I got home all of the polish was smeared. I tried calling to schedule a time to get it fixed however never received a call back on the voicemail I left.

Since she did not ask for a refund before leaving the salon, the owner refused to refund, stating that she did not complain before leaving. She disputed the charge and lost, because the policy says she needed to complain before leaving the salon. It is not acceptable that she paid $106.65 for nails that lost polish by the next morning. The good news is, these plastic nails did not require using the dremel to chew up my natural nail like gel nails, so my real nails are intact. 10/29/2023 Gorgeous clean lovely relaxing salon with peaceful relaxing music and pleasant staff. BUT! My full set of nails lost the one on the right thumb in less than 24 hours, and the right index finger just came off. Since this was a vacation and we are now 40 miles away, I can't go back for a second repair. And this was a spa-priced service. I'm thinking they are having trouble recovering from the pandemic, because the five star reviews are much older than more recent reviews.
