Great SALON!! A breath of fresh air!! I am so happy I found this place after trying a few other "no so wonderful" nail salons in Wheeling. I've been here twice- the first time I say Ryan ( I think...) for a pedicure and Rose the next for a Mani. Each time my nails turned out incredible!!! they have amazing colors and spend so much time making sure everything is done perfectly. The massages are to die for! I would spend the money just for their massages alone lol. Really really great salon, clean, up -to-date, great massage chairs. Just perfect. Everyone is friendly and you don't feel like they are talking about you in their own language ( which i really appreciate as i find this at other nail salons quite often. ) Shirley's is a GEM! Highly recommend. read more

Great shop! Friendly staff and very good at what they do! Been using Shirley Nails for at least 20 years and will not go anywhere else.

Called to see if they had a simple manicure slot open after 2pm on a specific day for my mother-in-law. Even though it was only a few days before, they had an opening. The nail salon is in a strip mall, and there was adequate free parking. The manicurist helped Mom pick a color and gave her an excellent manicure. Then they had a nail-drying machine that shortened the time we had to wait for her nails to dry. They were also very accommodating as they helped her negotiate the salon with her walker. This salon is only 5 minutes from her apartment, so that was a bonus for me! All in all, this place was perfect. read more

I love my nails! Exactly as I wanted them and I couldn't be happier! They looked better the day I got them but the abuse of work got to them lol. Thank you Jeremy! read more

Shirley Nails - Absolutely love my nails. - Nail Salons Near Me - Wheeling, Illinois

Excellent manicure. I walked in. No appointment. Took time. Great attention to detail. I'd go back if I lived in the area!

I absolutely love Shirley's Nails! The shop is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend getting your nails done here! 12/10!!!

I am not from the area and had broken a nail. I walked in and Cindy was able to do a fill and gel polish very quickly! She did an awesome job and the prices were very fair (and lower than what I normally pay at my normal salon). The salon was clean and all the ladies were very polite. read more

I'm so torn about this place. I'll admit, my nails look amazing. However, it was so rushed that I was worried the whole time. At one point, there was a visible piece of dust on my nail and he just polished over it. I'm sure he saw it, bc it was clearly visible. The nail polish selection is also weak and they look old. read more

My best friend and I went to get our nails done and they did an amazing job! We came in as walk-ins and were able to get started right away. We both got acrylic full sets and they shaped and painted our nails just the way we wanted! Will definitely come back for my fill in a few weeks for my birthday and other times in the future!! read more

Have tried many local nail places for gel extensions but haven't loved any so far. I tried Shirley nails at the recommendation of a friend who has been going there for years and so far I'm very happy. Everyone who worked there was very pleasant and my nails look great. They did exactly what I asked without trying to talk me into something slightly different like a lot of places do. Hopefully they last for a couple weeks and I'll definitely be back! read more

Awesome salon! I came here because my usual place was busy, and I needed my nails done immediately!! My manicurist's name was Jeremy and he was the sweetest (: on top of his amazing personality, he did a fantastic job on my nails! I get pretty nervous going to new places but when I told him what i wanted he quickly and efficiently got the job not just done, but done really well! I am totally in love with my nails & look forward to returning again in the future!!! Good Job Guys!! read more

I have been going to Shirley nails for many many many year. They are the sweetest people and always remember me even when I haven't seen them in a while! Love going there and taking my daughter too! read more

This is a hidden gem and really the only spot I've been to where every single nail technician is on point. Jeremy, Quinn, Christina, and Tony are my chosen ones when it comes to my coffin-shaped acrylics. Unlike other shops, the technicians ask how you like the shape of your acrylics during the filing process and make changes based on what you want- and they're genuinely kind. This is the ONLY shop that does not up-charge for nail shaping (how it should be) and also the most affordable ($25 for a full set with regular polish). The only downside is that their nail polish selection is terrible but I see a lot of their clients bringing in their own polishes. If you're looking for acrylics at an affordable price without the frills of an upscale shop, this is it! read more

Best nail place in the area. I have been going there for a while now and every time I get my gels done there, they last for almost a month. They do a great job. Make sure to call for the appointment bc they're always busy. read more

Never coming back here again, used to get my nails done here a lot until I realized my nails always broke and lifted but I thought it was normal until I checked out another salon and I was shocked over how much better the quality was but that place closed so I came back here not even 10 days ago. The guy that did my nails did them SO FAST because on of his favorite clients walked in that he began to not pay attention to what he was doing. My nails lifted tht same day, hair got suck under the nail that same day and broke not even 7 days later. The bottom of my nails was bulky because it was so thick. Dont waste your time or money coming here. read more

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school and they never disappointed. It's very unfortunate that I have to give them two stars. The lady that did my manicure was a very nice lady, but she did a sloppy job. The moment I sat down, everything felt very rushed. She did not have technique and basically colored in the lines. There were spots missed and spots where she applied layer after layer and seemed like she depended on the top coat to fix all the mistakes and nail polish remover to clean the edges. I still paid for the service, but probably will not go back there again. read more

I called them on Fruday night to see if they where open on Sunday and whoever I talked to told me to come in at 1:30 on Sunday. When I got there the sign on the door said closed. It's a good thing that I didn't live far or they would be hearing from me. They just lost a customer because I would NEVER go back there!!!!!!! read more

They picked out a great color for me ! They did the coloring and shaping perfectly, plus it was cheap. I am so impressed. read more

Nice place. They took my cousin and I as walk ins right away. I am from San Diego and was pleased with the mani and pedi. They had a big screen TV with daytime shows. It was clean and the AC was on. I recommend this place. read more

I'm really disappointed with this place. A few friends recommend this place to me and I thought I'd give it a try. The first time I went it was amazing. I got a no chip manicure, it stayed on for almost a month, and I even got 5 dollars off because it was my first time there. After that it went down hill. Now my no chips chip within a week and they are always rude when I'm there. The last time I was there the woman actually said "don't watch me do your nails watch the tv". Sorry but if you're doing my nails I'm watching your work. Needless to say I won't be returning. read more

I have been a customer of Shirley's since they opened. No salon in the area can provide excellent customer service and nails that look beautiful for 2 weeks or more like they can. I have used nail techs Jeremy (the owner) and Tony for years. They are quick and do immaculate work with nails. There is just no other salons I feel in the area that are as good as them. Great job Shirley's! read more

I have been going to Cindy For approximately six months Cindy is on vacation and I had an appointment with someone else and I went in there on Friday and the owner turns around and says what do you need I told him I had an appointment Instead of listen to me he asked me if I want to pedicure what do I need what do I want I tell him again I had an appointment still didn't listen to me the phone rang he turns around answers that everybody else didn't say a word I was very uncomfortable experience in fact every time I go when they're extremely rude there in my Pinyan it's just not worth going in read more

I am extremely impressed with Shirley's nails! I used to go to L Lovely where I got poorly treated and had a very uncomfortable environment. Shirley nails gave me a 5 star experience with outstanding workers, great prices, and a comfortable environment! I went in for my first time after being told by a friend that it is a good nail salon, for an gel acrylic fill in. My guy, Tony did a job to perfection and was very reasonable with extra little surprises like free nail designs! He was very good and always had a relaxed tone. I totally recommend this nail salon for anyone of all ages and for different needs! Great first impression! read more

I got my nails done just yesterday and they looked just fine but today they feel so delicate I can barely do anything without getting the feeling like they are gonna fall off in any second they didn't fill it in correctly at all there's very visible gaps between my actual nail and the acrylic I'm very upset and will not be returning to this nail salon read more

Not the best place to get your nails done even technician did good job. Place is not the cleanest salon around and it smells bad. The stuff kept switching TV channels which was really annoing. The worst thing about that salon is really that smell!!! It smells like they have a mice. read more

This business is hands down the best salon in the Buffalo Grove area. I even know people willing to drive from surrounding suburbs because of this salon's customer service, personal touch, friendliness, and commitment to customer satisfaction. They are very reliable, regardless of who does your nails. They have a great local reputation and will make sure that you have an experience that makes you want to return. The owner/manager Jeremy is amazing and is a very hard working man running this business to support his children and mother back in Vietnam. He cares about his customers and has personal relationships with them, even remembering details about what's going on in your life and asking you about it. I wish I could do more to promote this nail salon because it is worth every penny spent there in comparison to others. They care about the quality and honesty of the work they do, not just about the money. read more
