I'm so upset. Getting a pedicure at Creation Nails. My 7th one. The lady who said she was the owner scratched my toe so hard it opened the skin at each end. Then when I sucked in my breath and showed her what happened she denied it. Then another came over and showed her to use the softer side of the file she cut me with. Then she had alcohol on her gloves and rubbed it into my scratch. Once again sucked in my breath in pain and she went into a rage when I told her what she did. Denied everything. Updated review! I've been coming here for a long time. Reason? It's very very clean. All the technicians, especially Sarah, are very good. Prices are reasonable. Today I had the spa pedicure. I usually get a regular pedicure. The spa pedicure was the best pedicure. Pedicure included sugar scrub, hot stones, and paraffin wax. So very relaxing. This is usually an appointment only salon. But ,more than once, I've called in the morning and been able to get in same day. Usually in the afternoon. This is on weekdays. I'm not sure about the weekends. I've been to other nail salons. But this is the only place I go to nowadays. Parking is easy. Place is warm and welcoming. My favorite nail salon!! read more

I spent almost 2 hours there. My nails look absolutely horrible. I wanted orange ring fingers and black on the rest of my nails with glitter. The glitter is so caked on that it looks like white powder covering my nails. There is also gaps where there is no glitter. My cuticles are shredded from them not listening to me say it hurt when they were using their tools on my nails. I told them I didn't like the nails and they told me they looked fine and didn't listen to my asking them to fix them. I absolutely would not recommend this place at all. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

So I was looking for a new nail salon because my old nail tech left. I walk into this establishment and I smile and say hello. Nobody responded!! I came in ready to spend well over $80 and was completely dumb founded when no one greeted me. I stood there for 5 mins looking at the price list and still nobody responded! They had one customer who was getting a pedicure. One!!! 3 people were just sitting around. One reading a book and the other two were on the phone texting or whatever. I was so pissed I left! I recently went here to get my nails done and I must say I very much enjoyed this place. The ladies were very nice and there were customers that seemed to be regulars when I was there so that's a plus. I love their color options. Also they carry Essie, if you've never tried that nail polish brand I highly recommend it. I got a basic Mani for $12 bucks (before tip). I got my nails done and I got a massage while my nails were drying! Also before she painted my nails, she wrapped my hands in warm towels, and massaged them, it was awesome! The ladies are very nice. I went to here for the first time and loved it. The employees were friendly , and took great care in ensuring i loved my nails. This salon is my new salon tried in the area. This salon is awesome! Not only is it conveniently located , but it is pristine and you can tell that really do take sanitation seriously. Got a pedicure there a couple days ago and while trimming the cuticles of my feet the technician cut it so short that two of my toes started to bleed. She put a cream or whatever in there to help stop the bleeding but didn't seem to understand that the other oils, sprays, lotions, etc. aggravated the cut. Then whomever did the prep work left and another technician painted my nails. Not sure I really enjoyed the different technicians also, not sure I'll be coming back again especially with my sore and cut toes. read more

I think other reviewers are mistaking the service style (business like, and I'm not sure there is a ton of English spoken) with rudeness. The best part-- their pedicures last WEEKS- best paint job I've ever had. They are kind and welcoming... If you haven't tried it yet, you should! I have been coming to Creation Nails since Kelly took over ownership in May 2014. Great manicures and pedicures. Love the hand and shoulder massages. Manicures really last well without chipping for at least a week. Everyone is so friendly and greets you by name. Very clean and all tools are sterilized. read more

I walked into this nail salon while my car was being serviced at Wheeling Auto. Got a very warm greeting as I entered. I didn't have an appointment but didn't have to wait. Had an excellent no chip manicure. This salon isn't close to my home but I will definitely return. All customers we treated kindly. I don't know if there's a retirement community near by but several customers were of retirement age and seemed to be returning there; they got very familiar greetings, called by their name and we're patiently waited on. I kept going for a few months but got tired of the dismissive approach of the staff. This was my second time at this salon getting a NO Chip Manicure. The first time I got a NO Chip, I had to go back within the first week to get my nail fixed because it had chipped. The color did not last a full 2 weeks. A NO Chip should last a minimum of 2 weeks without chipping. I decided to give them another try and came back months later and again the NO Chip did not last 2 weeks. I even used a different brand of the no chip color. My nails chipped after 4 days and I had to go back and then all my nails started chipping after a week and a half. I am very disappointed. I've never had this problem at any other salon. I would be giving this only 1 star, but the people are very nice so thats why I'm giving them a 2. I would NOT recommend getting a NO CHIP at ALL! Waste of money! read more

Don't go here uless you want to be ignored. I thought I would check out this local new nail salon for a pedicure so I called and, after conversing with the unintelligible girl on the other end of the phone (seriously, there are so many ESL classes people can take for FREE - why don't they do it??) for two minutes, I was able to get an appt within a half hour...on a saturday! I walk in at my appointed time and noone is up front to greet me. I see three pedicure chairs and only 1 person in one of those chairs. I see two nails stations with two people getting manicures. One of those employees was wearing a surgical mask which made me think....if it's not safe for the employee to work without a mask, is it safe for the client??? Anyway, I sat down and after 1 minute one of the employees doing a manicure says "hi" and I respond "hi" back. Thats' it, no more communication for two minutes. I got up and walked out of there. If they didn't want my business why did they even bother giving me an appointment?? read more

Went to the salon for more than a year, however one day they overcharged me and when I told them that the bill is a little bit more than it supposed to be, one of them took the pencil and counted on the paper " 5+8=15 - OK???" and when she finished her math it was still $5 over and she went "it's only $5-OK???????"
