I'll admit, I wasn't too sure when I walked in because the customer service wasn't there. However, once I sat down, both ladies that were there were nice and engaging. It was a very pleasant appointment. Kee did my nails and did a great job. I've had my nails for 2 weeks and they look like I just got them done. The prices were great too. My only complaint is that the website and the door say that walk in's were welcomed but on a weekday afternoon there were only 2 nail techs and they both had clients. I waited about an hour and a half, which I had no problem with. A woman came after me and they suggested she come in tomorrow. It was 3 pm on a Wednesday but the door says they're open until 8 pm. I know now that an appointment is necessary. The walk in thing is what make the chop shops appealing especially for women like me with up and down schedules. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be back.

However, in the past when I did any removal I was met with thin, ridged (white lines) even ridg in my nails, NOT THIS TIME !!! My nails were still hard and no white stripes, just beautiful!! I was shocked, I usually have repair my nails with oils for weeks because in the past because of nail damage. But not this time !! Kiki was amazing, she is professional, friendly and treats your nail as if they were her own!! I absolutely love this place!! And if you haven't already visit Shelia's Stoop, she has the most delicious smelling, skin hydrating body butter's. Try for your self!!

I've had issues at other local places that don't have prices posted and add on for every little thing then the total comes as a bit of a surprise at the end. I don't mind paying for great work, I'd just like to understand and know the cost beforehand and Whitney's puts it right up front when booking so there is no surprise. The location is easy to miss, but very spacious inside with good music vibes. An added bonus you can order wine, beer or champagne while you get pampered which is another thing that I haven't found at any other nail salon in the area. The artwork and quality of service is great and I highly recommend checking them out.

My artist Hannah was not only thorough- she was fast. Her ability to sculpt the edges of my nails ... base gel application ... everything was perfect The cost for my combo was 160. As an e file manicure girlie ... their service was more than comparable for the price. Every e file manicure and pedicure isn't worth 160. Theirs is !!!!!! Each service will take at least 90 mins. However , you're in a spotless shop with huge mugs of tea and coffee. Even when there are four or five other ladies - it wasn't noisy and we weren't on top of one another. There's plenty of parking and I think I found my new go to place in the northern burbs.

i really never thought i would have to do this.. i started coming here about 6 months ago when i…read morestarted my natural nail journey. i have had decent experiences (not the best) but definitely better than a regular shop, until today. i last minute book all the time and thats definitely my fault.. this weekend i made an appointment for a gel manicure with Elvira i believe was her name. I got there 5 minutes before the appointment and waited another 25 until i was seated. of course i was offered something to drink by one of the other girls, at no point did she try to offer me anything. when we finally got started she was off the bat rushing me. i asked for help trying to figure out my base color because i had forgotten the name and number of it. she showed me a couple white bases which were not what i was looking for so i kept looking but she sat down and pulled my hands and started drilling off my nails. so i struggled with one hand and found something similar but i gave up looking. she picked the last color that i asked her about so when she was about to start my application i quickly looked through colors with both hands again and found the one that i had originally wanted. i asked her if we can change it and she did, huffing and puffing of course. already set a bad vibe between us.. on top of that, when shaping i had to ask multiple nails to be trimmed down because they were not matching lengths of the others at all.. all my frenchies are different shapes and thickness, not one of them was checked with the other hand to assure it looks okay. all were done one by one alternating hands so they have wonky lines and shapes. it was a poorly done and obviously rushed job. my cuticle on my thumb got burnt with the drill and the underneath of the same nail got cut open with the drill to where i started bleeding and now is an open wound, the technicians response to that was to dramatically jump back on her seat and make a loud surprised noise than grab my hand and continue to drill the same spot.. not ince checked on it unfortunately it hurts lol.. i do understand that to some it might not be that big of a deal but we dont pay $45 for a full set like a chop shop.. this was a $98 appointment so i expect my nails to look as such, which unfortunately they dont. i think the language barrier makes it really hard for non slavic people to integrate or feel welcome.. nobody is perfect and nobody speaks perfect english..
