I have very mixed feelings about my experience at Stellar Nails and Spa. Visited in june 16 2025. The environment is very basic - definitely not a bells and whistles establishment which is fine as long as there is great service to back it up. I arrived on june 16th (Sunday) at 2:10 pm. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 so that went smoothly as far as timing is concerned. When I walked in I was greeted and signed in. I was told to pick a color but was given no direction as to where the color wheels for nail polishes were, so I went and sat at the first nail station because that's where I saw a color wheel of nail colors. Mimi let me know that the colors were actually at the front sequestered in a shelf and I could go over there. The pedicure went decently. The filing is not great here. Very light and ticklish, I prefer to have a firm filing and exfoliation on my feet personally. The paint job itself was very streaky and looks unfinished up close. From far away it looks good. Cleanliness factor of this salon is very low unfortunately- just being honest! The caddies that hold the nail supplies are dusty and I see a lot of tools being reused... Not sure whether they are even sanitizing them because they are kind of just laying out in a fashion that makes it look like the last customer had the same file and sand box file / buffing tool used on their feet. I don't like that. Overall I would rate the pedicure a 3/5. Onto the manicure: The services I asked for were a manicure AND acrylic nail full set. These are two separate things and I got one service whilst the other was completely disregarded. I was still charged for it of course. I've noticed a lot of modern day nail salons completely eliminating the manicure service itself but still charging for it, this place is no different. When I say manicure, I mean the typical manicure. Cutting cuticles, treating and soaking my hands, removing any under nailed debris, etc." the works " if you will. When I say acrylic set, that is the actual nail itself- The polishing, the shaping, the color. I only received the latter. This is very annoying because I have also been to many salons that DO give you a manicure when you ask for one , some even provide korean hand masks. I don't expect that even, but you need to absolutely treat the hands if you are charging your customers for that, not just bypass it and move on to filing. I didn't even get a nail soak. Mind you this WAS itemized and I WAS charged for both services despite not receiving both Filing was very rushed and multiple times the nail "tech" (who's name I forgot - usually sits in second station on left side, middle aged) used a super high setting that was extremely painful. I asked multiple times for her to turn it down. She also made a comment about another customer who had gotten her nails done a few days ago and was back stating verbatim to ME a paying customer: "I did her nails the other day , she didn't even tip me and now she is back to get it fixed" whilst rolling her eyes. that is SUPER rude and unprofessional I didn't even say anything because I was just shocked at that level of entitlement and behavior. I'm a heavy tipper (personally) and I have never wanted to tip someone less in my life. The acrylic set also was a let down. The only decent thing about them was the shaping. I selected the shades you have to pay extra for- it has a shimmer undertone to it. They are opaque on the display wheel but once on they are on you- sheer and see through and streaky. The nail tech made the acrylics extremely thick kind of how the old school grandmas used to get them when acrylics first came out. Not cute. I'm not a fan of that for obvious reasons. She was extremely rushed with the service the entire time like she had somewhere to be as well. Anyways, I won't be revisiting but I did want to at least give an honest feedback of my experience. know that if you are coming to this salon in the summer, the door will be open the entire time so I definitely had flies land on me during my manicure- I don't care that much but a lot of people hate bugs. 3/10 is my rating for this salon when professionalm, level of precision and price are all considered. Unfortunately I have to give this place a bad rating. The owners are nice I wouldn't want to take that away from them. But it is clear they have a business license but did not go to nail tech school. They tried to use dipping powder when I specified builder gel. They also do not take care of the cuticles and natural nail before applying product. Set is Russian Medicare Liquid Gel With Design Olivia did an amazing job doing my nails. She was percise, delicate, detailed and patient. She took her time and listened, she took her time to truly understand how I wanted my nails and really tried to take in what I was saying. I was very picky and specific and a lot of nail technicians. Do not want to be patient enough to understand or deal with it. Not only did Olivia deal with it. She was very kind and very sweet and she took her time and did not rush me. She went above and beyond and so does the nail salon. They served me with coffee and attended to me and my needs. Olivia is not only a great nail technician. She is also a very good person. She talked to me listened to my problems gave me advice and really try to connect with me as a person and that goes above and beyond and so does the salon. I would recommend this place above all. Went a few times. I get regular manicures but they kept pushing the Dazzle Dry, fine, went with that. The last time in there was just that, my last time. I had an appt but still waited a long time. The man removing my polish couldn't do it. Kept asking if it was no chip, it wasn't. He used a drill to remove which I did not want. As it turned out he was using ALCOHOL NOT REMOVER!!! They charged me extra bc how long it took to remove polish. I said he was using the wrong product, they didn't care. Also the polish was way too thick. It looked awful. Won't be back! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I walked in and was immediately greeted by both owners, despite how busy they were. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Mimi and Tania did my nails (I got acrylics, so Mimi applied them and Tania did the full manicure) and both were extremely detail-oriented. I mentioned how long my cuticles had gotten and they spent time making sure they were perfect. My pedicure was just as amazing - their massage chairs are so comfortable! Went here for a no chip pedicure and manicure, the pedicure was great. A little long but very precise and very relaxing. My manicure on the other hand I received a cut on my cuticle. Which I understand those things happen, but my manicure was very rushed and chipped the day after on one nail and now three days later I have chips on five different fingers. The woman who did it wasn't really paying attention, was back-and-forth doing other things. I can only recommend this place for a pedicure. read more

I had a great experience here. I found this place because I googled locations by my sons appointment because I had time to kill. They got me right in. During the appointment I realized I needed to leave early to get my son. They let me leave without having painted my toes and I was able to come back after I grabbed my son to finish the pedicure. I visited Stellar Nails and Spa today for the first time. I brought 2 other people with me as well. The Owner and Staff were so friendly and accommodating. You could tell that they took pride in their business. They were so warm and welcoming. The Nail Techs took their time with us, explained what they were doing and made sure we were happy every step of the way. They did not try to upcharge us or pressure us for additional services. Just moved to the area and wanted to get my nails done for my birthday/date night. This place had amazing reviews so I figured i would give it a try. They were warm and welcoming but once I sat down I felt like everything was rushed, I was getting a gel tip with no chip. When he was gluing down my nails he was rushing and ended up putting on some crooked and then ripping the tip off and having to put more glue on to glue the next tip down, he put so much glue on my thumb I'm still picking glue off my skin. when he started filing the tips, my skin was attached to the nail because of the amount of glue and he was filing my skin i pulled away multiple times due to it hurting. i wanted a coffin shape and nothing is uniformed not even the length of the nails. Once the acrylic went on it was worse, some are thick, some are thin, all the nails are bumpy and not smooth, I have spots on my nail missing acrylic, and then i have chunks under my nails. When he started to file again with the drill he cut me 4 times!! I honestly should have left when he started and seemed in a hurry because that's what the whole experience felt like.
