It's a Sunday around 11, a busy time for salons I know. I asked the receptionist if there was availability quick for eyebrows, and told her if no one was free I understood the volume, and I would try another salon. She said they could get me in and checked me in. After waiting 3 ish minutes, an owner or manager type person starts frantically asking people sitting down what they're waiting for. I said I was a walk in eyebrow. She went back to check, then came back and said a 20 minute wait. Seems like the receptionist did not check for availability before accepting me and it was a little chaotic. I'm sure it's a nice place to get services on a slower weekday. Unless you have an appointment, if you just need something quick, I would try somewhere else. The atmosphere and selection looked nice and the drinks looked appealing. If you want to go to Coco Nail Bar, do your research on who you schedule your appointment with. Don't ever get your nails done by Cody. I have been here probably 4 times total, satisfied most of the time, and never had any complaints; however this time was unfortunately different for me. I got my services through Cody. I received a regular pedicure and no chip manicure. At first it was going good for the pedicure. He asked if I wanted the lavender pedicure, which is $47. I mentioned that I'm looking for the cheaper option, which is $36. Even though this was clarified, he tried to charge me the higher price at the register when I mentioned that I wanted the cheaper choice to begin with. I understand the confusion so I let it be and at least I corrected him. Moving onto my manicure, it was going great until he was removing my cuticles and pinched my skin so hard that I yelled "OW" with other technicians and clients looking at me. At that point, Cody knew he messed up because he tried to have small talk with me when he barely spoke to me the entire time. I felt uncomfortable and choked up at that point. I did not want him to do my nails or take care of it anymore. The pinch was pretty hard, especially having sensitive skin and a low pain tolerance. I really wanted to speak to the manager, however, she left already for the day, so I did not know who to speak to. He also didn't file my nails even to the shape I wanted. He did not figure out other solutions to make my nails even length, especially when one of them was shorter. I would have been open to any suggestions to make my nails look good as I know other technicians would do the same to accommodate their client. I showed the design I wanted, which was just yellow nail polish and chrome. I knew at that point he was nervous, going back and forth about what to do with other technicians, and asked someone else to step in to finish the job for him. It has been two weeks and my nails are chipping, breaking, and chrome is cracking. I'm honestly sad and disappointed that this was my nail experience here at Coco Nail Bar. I have never felt that way after getting my nails done. I usually give the benefit of the doubt for workers due to experience in retail. However, I'm not sure I would want to come back again. read more

Great experience. I got a fill, a pedi and my eyebrows. Everyone was professional. Salon was clean and well decorated. Plenty of options. I got a cucumber pedicure and loved it. They made me a fresh coffee that was delicious. 10/10 will be back. My eyebrows and nails look great. She shaped my brows naturally and didn't take too much off. read more

I've been coming to Coco Nail Bar for about a year. I consistently come every 3-4 weeks for a dip manicure and a pedicure. I've typically had great experiences here, but I've noticed the last few times have been subpar at best. As other reviewers have mentioned, they frequently run behind for their appointments. I think they take in walk ins without actually looking at their schedule. Quality will very much depend on your tech. I've had dip manicures last 4 weeks with no chips, or they've lasted less than 2 weeks & have pulled up/cracked on multiple nails. The main issue I experienced today. The manager told one of her new techs to charge me $10 extra for my service, due to my shape and length. When I asked her for clarification, she was incredibly rude and made it seem like it was my fault that I didn't know of this. I explained to her that in my year of coming here I've never been charged extra for my length or my shape. She tried to gaslight me by saying my nails were never this long because I probably wasn't getting dip before, which is true, but I've had this length of nails now for over six months?!? The tech, Shirley or Shelly, (I can't remember) was incredibly apologetic, offered me a $5 discount and did a fantastic job on my nails. The issue I have is with the manager. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. The day before my appointment, I came into the salon and showed the front desk the exact inspiration photo I wanted. I also explained that I wanted hard gel extensions. I was told that the set could absolutely be done and that the total would be around $115, so I booked my appointment based on that. When I arrived, I noticed my existing builder gel was removed in a way that I wasn't familiar with, and I became concerned about my natural nails. The hard gel application also didn't seem to be done properly. Instead of sculpting the extensions with forms, tips were applied, which wasn't the method I was expecting for hard gel. The biggest issue happened in the middle of the appointment. After the application had already started, another lady had to be called over to explain and confirm the price with me because the nail technician couldn't speak English. I was then told that the design I had already been quoted for would actually cost around $200 or more because of the pearls. This was frustrating because I had shown the exact same inspiration photo the day before and had been quoted around $115. Since I wasn't expecting the price to nearly double, I had to completely change the design and settle for a single pearl instead. Unfortunately, the quality of the nails did not match the price. Within just a few days, multiple nails started lifting. I tried to leave them alone, but eventually the lifting became so bad that when I removed three of them, parts of my natural nails came off as well. I had spent months growing out my natural nails, and I worked hard for the money I used to pay for this set, so this was incredibly disappointing. Overall, I left feeling like the pricing was not communicated honestly, the hard gel application was poorly done, and the set did not last anywhere close to what I would expect for a $85 service. If a technician doesn't know how to do hard gel or builder gel, please don't assign them to that service. I would rather be told to come back when the right person is available than have my nails done incorrectly and end up with damaged natural nails. read more

I've been coming to Coco nail bar for a while now and honestly, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I went recently with my mom and getting an appointment was very easy for a GelX fill and a full set. They were able to fit me in the same day when I called, which was Tuesday afternoon. We had an appointment that day at 5:30 and were sat fairly quickly. The only issue is I made an appointment for two people, and they sat us on two separate ends of the salon. I totally understand if it was crowded, but nobody was sitting near me and I don't understand why they couldn't seat my mom and her nail tech next to me. Due to my mom not wanting to express dissatisfaction she wasn't able to get the nails that she originally wanted since the nails were too long and not the right shape. I have no problem telling my nail tech what I want, but I know some people are shy at expressing that. This is why I like when my mom sits next to me so I can advocate for her. Also, they had us pay before both of our services were complete. which was strange to me. My nails turned out the way I wanted them to and my nail tech was great. read more

Angie is absolutely the best, takes her time to make sure my nails look great and my nails have never been stronger or prettier. I get a dip manicure and my nails last about 4. Angie is absolutely the best and has a magic touch! Highly recommend Coco nails and Angie!!!!! read more
