They were awesome! Great prices and they did a good job. Got a regular mani/pedi and it lasted like a week. Very nice ladies and good customer service. Finally found my regular place. read more

Excellent service! I am 71 yrs age and rarely get a manicure/pedicure but my 5-year-old granddaughter said Poppa you have ugly nails. Gem Nails & Spa, $55. I shall return. Very pleased but I had no nail coloring and I had no issues with chipping! My granddaughter was pleased and for Poopa that's what counts. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I got a dip manicure done just a few days ago and it is already chipping when it normally lasts me a month.

Clean quiet efficient & knowledgeable. Only place I have done pedis in last 15 years. great prices also

My daughter was at a basketball camp nearby while I was waiting for her I was looking for a place to get a pedicure quick and without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. I walked in no wait. Great pedicure chairs, fast and courteous service. I would come back if I'm in the area again. read more

Used to Go here monthly and get no chip manicure, service was always okay and was usually seen on time with good quality in manicure/pedicure but last few times the quality of the services have been less than good. Uneven filing of nails. Use of the nail grinding tool to remove no-chip which has weakened my nails significantly. No-chip lasting about a week before chipping. Toenails uneven. Disappointed with the change in quality. read more

Everyone's really nice. I did a gel pedi and a dip powder with tips. However they didn't have the color I wanted - nice brown nude. I'm honestly not a fan of my nails. I asked for almond- but it looks weirdly shaped and lumpy and just doesn't look right. I probably will see if they can redo / fix them because it's bothering me. I didn't want to complain bc it was already past closing and I wasn't going to make her stay any longer. Update: after looking at my nails even more I realized how bad it was and so I called and they were nice and re did them for me. I'm very content now. Looks so much better. Before and after pics attached. THE DIFFERENCE. read more

I wanted to love it really I did The best part was the massage, The whole pedicure took about 20 mins My biggest problem with a pedicure is one they don't polish to the top of my nail, second it looks like I did it at home lol First time back here in years Also asked for extension also said it over the phone but I guess they decided I didn't need it lol I said oh I don't need he said no lol right then I'm like don't push it Any way came home next day took polish off and had to paint my nails And at least say Hi it's free Sorry but nowadays people are getting my money that do what I wanted and also have a friendly atmosphere read more

Rushed to pick a color, rushed through the pedicure which should be relaxing. Tech abruptly stepped away twice. Unfriendly vibe. Upon returning home, found flaws in the execution. Have been here multiple times and only once was the tech, friendly and worth the time/money. Can't recommend and can't return read more

I came in for a no chip mani and pedicure. Everything felt very rushed and it was slow in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. I didn't think to hard about it even though i had an appointment. Pedicure was fine, nothing to complain about nothing to rave about. My no chip manicure was very rushed. The nail polished hardened with lumps and uneven. Not even one week and my no chip is peeling and chipping. I was very very unsatisfied for my $90. I still left a tip because I respect the jobs, but i definitely didn't tip what i usually do. Below are pictures from exactly ONE WEEK after. I dont even want to try and have them fix it read more

At first I was excited and everything was beautiful inside. Pedi went great and is beautiful. However, when it came to my mani, I felt it was rushed. The place started getting busier as I sat there and you could tell she was rushing. As I am home writing this, my thumb nail seems to be smearing. Which shouldn't be the case considering I got gel nail color specifically for this NOT to happen. I start to look closer and it is a bubble under the color. Upon further inspection, the color is lifting at the side and is now curled up ! Very very unhappy! On top of that, they charged me a $5 fix fee and I believe it was to take off my already gel color. Most places I've been to have always had the rule that if you get gel again, then they do not charge but I guess this place will charge no matter what. Do not believe we will back unfortunately. read more

I love Gem Nails. They are so clean and doing a wonderful job with Covid protection. I have been going here for many years and the newest owner tries very hard to make everyone happy and make sure you are very satisfied. I have seen Abby the last couple times and she is my favorite! Today when I went in, they got all brand new pedicure massage chairs. I can't wait to go for my pedicure. I have seen negative reviews here a couple times and it makes me sad. Because if you were truly unhappy all you would have to do is let them know. They are truly great here!! If you haven't gone in awhile, be sure to go again. read more

The woman doing my nails was not taking the time to make sure the entire nail was covered. The edges of my cuticles have no nail polish. In addition, it is not a smooth coating and just super thick. I am very disappointed because she said it would look better at the end and completely neglected to paint my entire nail. I didn't want to ask for her to paint the edges Bc then it would just look much more thicker. Would not recommend this place. read more

The owner is such a sweet woman! I called less than an hour before they're were going to close and they took me with no problem (and I asked for a dip mani with a pedi). They did everything with so much care. Made sure I left happy (even when I inconvenienced the owner by having her stay a half hour after they closed). Beautiful job! I'm very happy! read more

I am utterly upset and disappointed. I went to go get my acrylic nails shortened and the polish changed. I told them multiple times I need my nails shortened and that they're too long, I said it and asked multiple times if they could do that and they said yes. Needless to say they did not shorten my nails nor did they tell me that they couldn't do that because "my nails would break" until after I had paid. If they didn't understand what I was asking for they should've asked me to clarify or don't say yes you can do service then tell me you can't after I've paid. I don't know how much clearer I could've been when telling them what I wanted/needed done. I wasted $20 for only half the service I asked for. I will not be coming back nor do I recommend this salon. read more

The staff does a nice job doing nails, especially if you're in a time crunch. The gentleman at the desk is super kind and makes an effort to chat with people. My only complaint is that the manicure you get just won't last. The no-chips I receive elsewhere tend to last much longer than any I have received here. read more

My wife & I went to this salon last year to get pedicures done and we both found the service to be rushed (15 minutes) to get us in and out. (This was at 5pm, so not close to closing time & had appointments, not walk-in) Were going to be in the area last week so scheduled the same pedicure appointments, thinking that perhaps it was the technicians and would try giving it another go. Same type of service. The staff was brisque, not personable, did a hurried-up job on our feet-still rough spots that should have been sanded more. Overall, not happy with the quality of the service. (We were also literally the only other customers in the shop.) We will not be back. Do yourselves a favor and go to Smiley's around the corner. They take their time to do a much better job and are friendly. read more

It's an ok place to go. They can't do much beyond single color no chip. Absolutely no designs, not even ombre. It's funny because they have designs on their website but each time I ask they say no they can't, even when I'm like "this photo is from your website" lol. But it's fine. They do a decent no chip and regular pedicure. I appreciate that they take their time with the pedicure and that they at least have color changing no chip polishes. read more

I tried Gem after a bad experience with another nail salon in town. I called to make an appointment. I asked for a time. They suggested a time that would work better for them just 15 minutes later. I've been going to Gem Nails for many years! They are by far the cleanest, most professional and friendly staff. Their no-chip manicures and pedicures are fantastic and beautiful! Love Gem Nails! Not only do my nails look great, but the service we received was so incredible. My 4 year old daughter came along with me, she has mild cerebral palsy and they were amazing with her! Liz, the owner did everything to accommodate my daughter who has difficulty sitting upright. She brought a special cushion and chair for her to sit on and made sure it was secure so my daughter was safe. Not only did they do that, but my daughter wanted 6 different nail colors and I was trying to get her to pick only one, but Liz was like "no problem!" So they put on all the different colors(2 coats of each color and full top coat) and made her feel like a princess. My daughter sat so still and loved the special treatment she got. I was so happy to find a place with quality service and kind people. Definitely coming here again! read more

I love Gem Nails Salon! The full service provided is above and beyond all other salons I've visited. The more often you visit, the more you feel like you're part of the family. The staff and owners are kind and courteous giving their customers full attention. No service is ever rushed, instead you are treated as the only person in the world. It is truly a luxurious experience! I feel the prices here are extremely fair for the wonderful results. I've been to other salons who charge more and I leave with nails that chip a day or two later. At Gem Nails, my manicures and pedicures last! Well worth the money. Plus, the extra massages and exfoliations Gem provides makes their work stand above the standard salons. I bring my family and friends here and all leave excited to come back to this special little salon and spa. read more

So, I came in here for pedicure and a a dip.... Everything was great, however, I feel cheated out of my money because instead or having me pick a dip color, they did a clear dip and made me choose a gel polish. DIPS HAVE COLOR OPTIONS. THERE WAS NO REASON TO CHARGE ME FOR GEL POLISH ON TOP OF DIP! Ridiculous. read more

Excellent nail salon because Abbey took the time to save my nails! Embarrassed to say that I came in with no chip that lasted 5 weeks long! Previously went to a Thai salon that put lots of layers on my nails that made it impossible to chip. Thank you so much Abbey for helping me and for this safe Salon that doesn't use harsh chemicals on my nails. My nails look rejuvenated, strong, and renewed!!! Definitely not the place to go for a dip. They cured it under the UV light and I've never had that done in the years I've gotten dip manicures. Four days and chipped already. The dip was $45 and they charged me $5 for a removal which is also a scam! Nice women but save your money, go somewhere else. read more

UPDATE: Liz the owner reached out regarding my review below and asked me friend and I to return to the salon to have our nails redone. We scheduled an appointment and they obliged and apologized for our dissatisfaction with the service provided. For my friend who had gotten a no chip mani blamed the problem on her nail being "difficult" and that she should be the sole person doing her nails. My nails on the other hand she said was a regular mani so that I shouldn't expect it to last and that it's primarily the nail polishes fault. Not sure what to blame but we appreciated them redoing the nails on their time. She also insisted to please come back if we ever aren't satisfied to customer satisfaction is obviously very important to them. We are both happy with our new manis and hope they last this time around! read more

I'm here visiting from Miami and someone recommended this salon. I went there today for a gel manicure and normal pedicure. The whole experience was amazing. The salon is very clean and organized. They have a LOT of colors to choose from! Extreme attention to detail, calm environment and friendly staff. The owner was there and made sure to open the door for me when I left, which I felt was a very nice detail. They were able to start my manicure while I was having my pedicure done and I was in and out in 70min. Oyuka did my gel manicure and was great. Gentle and professional. She used warm towels and did a hand and shoulders massage which was wonderful and very relaxing. I was very pleased with my experience and I'm definitely going back each time I visit town! read more

Don't go to Gem if you want a dip manicure. They don't know how to properly apply dip. The dip manicure is over priced at $55.

Hated this place so much. If you're going in to get a regular manicure Im sure they do a great job but I went in to get an acrylic set before Christmas. The initial nails that I wanted to get done were a little bit advanced so I understood if they couldn't do it but when I went in and asked for acrylics the automatic red flag should have been her hesitation. The woman clearly did not know what she was doing. Every one of those workers were hovering over me and not keeping their distance I felt extremely uncomfortable and to make things worse she couldn't do anything I asked for. She put so much glue to the point my finger got stuck to hers. I asked for a simple coffin shape she made it oval instead. I still tried to trust her work but she ended up telling me she couldn't do the nails I wanted I kept having to adjust for her and ended up with plain white nails.... I spent 3 hours in there just for the nails to end up crooked and lumpy. she charged me 60!!! For those awful sets i was so aggravated so i asked her to fix them and instead of making adjustments all she did was buff them. Not to mention the nails broke after a couple of days! Never going back to this place again! read more

Really wonderful experience. I made a reservation for my sister's wedding for my sister [the bride], the bridesmaids [there were a total of 4 of us], and the two mothers for a total of 7 individuals. We were all able to attend at the same time and they had enough people working so that no one was ever waiting long for a service. Everyone was nice and very accommodating! The place upon arrival was very tidy and they had a table with a pink table cloth set up in case we brought drinks/food to celebrate. The pedicure chairs were a little old but worked perfectly. The actual service was great. I got a regular mani/pedi and they did a good job. The shape of my nail was actually perfect and looked amazing, and looked that way for a while! They did a great job with my cuticles [no cuts] and again the shape was really amazing. I cannot wait to go back to get them reshaped. My sister got a no chip but wanted a particular sparkle has her 'party nail.' The woman helping her did a really good and honest job of making it work. The gel polish was not working with the regular polish [that was sparkly] and she noticed it right away and worked very hard to make sure that it was perfect. She ended up taking off the no chip on that particular nail and then just painting it sparkles. Where they had the fans to dry your nails was right in the center and nicely hidden. They also gave you a massage when you sat down. It was a nice experience and I can honestly say I am looking forward to going back to visit. read more
