Absolutely delicious! If you're a fan of In-N-Out Burger- this is as close as it gets in Oregon. The burgers here aren't the gourmet burgers you might find at McMenamins or a great steak place (do we even have one of those in Eugene?) or the fast food, sub par burgers you find at McDonald's or Burger King. Well went there today took my kids to lunch and won't go back. This is the second time I have been there to eat and both times have had hair in my food. Will not go back and wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there. The first time it happened we got out meal comped but this time all I got was five dollars. Talk about poor customer service. I have been in the restaurant business for ten years and if u want to make your customer happy and have them return u would do anything u can to make the customer happy. Tried it for the first time, and it was a really good basic burger. Liked being able to choose our own toppings. The fries were yummy. We got a large order for 3 of us and we could have shared with at least 2 others. Good burgers at a good price. Music was a tad loud, but the place was clean and employees were friendly. read more

Clearly short staffed, with only 3 people. Yes peanuts get on the floor, but this location's floor is just plain nasty. Their are signs all over riding the coat tails of the success in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia from over 10 years ago. Sure the burgers were good, but I hardly ever at at them while in the DMV. Since there isn't tons of locations on the West Coast I decided to stop. I had to explain a few things to the cashier how things are supposed to be ordered. The restroom was dirty & I need or fixing a clear plumbing issue, they just threw a wet floor cone down. As for the food, it was slow on cooking as they definitely were playing catchup, and took too long for a normal Five Guys. The food of course was fresh and hot. Spending the night in Springfield on our way North. Walked into the restaurant immediately after half a bus of West Linn track players arrived. I was dreading the wait! At the FIve Guys we normally go to this would be a guaranteed forty minute wait. I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Food was hot and tasted great. Awesome job to the crew! read more

The burgers have flavor, but they're small. The fries are delicious and you definitely get enough for your money. The service can be kind of slow and it's definitely very busy. Sometimes it's hard to find a seat. I like reading about where their potatoes came from and looking at their articles on the wall. They have a good selection of soft drinks to choose from. Overall, it's a good fast food experience. Nothing amazing, but good if you want a change. But, dang is it expensive! read more

Stopped for the second time in 2 years at this location. Very mediocre burger. The burger was so small and misshapen that I thought someone had eaten part of it. One thing I really liked about coming here was the large selection of toppings for your burger. Sautéed onions and/or mushrooms, fresh toppings including jalapeño's. I had the regular burger, which actually has two patties. Very tasty and large enough to actually fill you up. The fries I also enjoyed. It reminded me a bit of "in & outs" fries. I went to Five Guys today at around 1 PM and was glad to find that it wasn't that crowded. I ordered a veggie sandwich, a regular order of cajun fries, and a regular soda, which came out to $7.97. The veggie sandwich was all right. Basically veggies in-between two buns. It's nothing to write home about, but by the time I had gotten to the last few bites of the sandwich, the bun was soggy. Maybe I should've skipped the tomatoes? They give a generous helping of fries, although after some thought, I realized that a regular order is $2.99 (Cajun doesn't cost any extra), so maybe that explains the portions. The Cajun fries were oily and not as Cajun as I had expected. It was an okay meal, but like the rating system says, "Meh. I've experienced better." I was definitely full from the food, but also a bit queasy. A previous experience at another Five Guys didn't leave any negative feelings, but if I could go back in time, I would've definitely eaten at one of the nearby eateries instead. read more

I like eating healthy generally, but for whatever reason my gut does not get queasy at the idea of eating at Five Guys. Its cheap and decent fast food. Food is good, staff is friendly, service is always fast. Not cheap. Not even inexpensive. For fast food, five guys is pretty good. Let's remember that it's fast food though, okay? The last time i went there, i had a big bacon cheeseburger, small fries and a small drink and it set me back 12 bucks before gratuity. 12!!! It was tasty, mind you, but that's one spendy burger joint. I was nearly 14 bucks in the hole when i left that place. I could have had a burger at a proper non fast food restaurant for that. There are two locally owned burger joints nearby that are equal if not better food quality wise for around 8 bucks all said and done. Problem - the last 3 times I have gone in here, they either add something to the burger I didn't want, or forget to add the BASICS. 2 times now with a sauceless burger, and added mustard to a burger I did not ask for. I was excited to try Five Guys, many reviews were very good. However, I ordered the bacon cheese burger, no choice on the cheese, just American. Also ordered the fries which were good. The burger had absolutely no flavor what so ever, weird, like there was no seasoning used in the meat at all. The service was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I don't know how anyone can complain about 5 Guys!!! I have never had a problem with employees standing around or not understanding my order. My food is cooked perfectly and the buns are never soggy. Fries are the best. No one in town compares to 5 Guys!!!! Now that a store has opened up down the street from my office, I know I now have a place to go for an excellent burger! I'm going for four stars on this Five Guys location, and that's as high as I'm ever going on any limited service burger joint. With that in mind, I've been here twice in the past 10 days. Counter service was personable and efficient. My cheeseburger ( both times ) was exactly as ordered and tasted great. Staff was busy cleaning up the dining area when they weren't busy behind the counter. To be honest, I'm not wild about their fries, but even a small order is plenty for two starving guys or a small family. I go there for the little ( single patty ) burger. Contrary to some reviews, this way outranks anything on a McDonalds menu - beginning with freshly cooked, and going on from there. The first thing we noticed about the "little burger" was the soggy bun. While it was warm, it was a bit gummy and could have used a little more crisp. The beef, proudly decreed 100 percent fresh, lived up to the promise and was remarkably above-average for a fast-food establishment. The toppings, which came free, were unnoticeable.
