I've only been to Five Guys on four other occasions, and all at one location. Each time was to introduce someone else to their burgers. This was my first time trying it someplace different. It's nothing for me to tell you that that this is one of the best burgers you'll find at a fast food restaurant. Particularly since it has the quality of a gourmet burger. The meat is scrumptious, well-prepared, temperature hot and thick as you like. Add the fact that a basic "burger" is two patties, then add just about any topping you can think of, and you've got one good sandwich. Now for the service. This crew was amazing! From the moment I walked up to the restaurant, I was received warmly and energetically. Everyone in there was kind, especially the young lady who was cleaning the counter as I waited. The service alone was enough for me to sing their praises. If you've never been there before, you should add it to your list. It's going to cost you more, closer to the price of a gourmet burger, but trust me, it's worth every penny. With any luck, you'll run in to the bunch I met today (after 7 p.m.). Good burger, over salted fries, and way overpriced. Got a decent cheeseburger which is always good. But for $17 a cheeseburger and medium fries is ridiculous at a fast food place, especially when the fries are so over salted you can't even eat them. Since I skipped dinner last night, I figured I should probably get something to eat, so I decide to drive to Easton and walk around the area. Total was almost $10 ($7 for burger and $3 for fries). I decided to get a little bit of relish, since I've never had that on a burger before (you can ask for additional special toppings). At first, I was surprised by the price - "$7 for a simple bacon cheeseburger? It's not even really gourmet." And then the food came. The burger itself was massive; instead of a regular bacon cheeseburger from McD, it ended up being a huge bacon double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, relish, mayo, mustard, ketchup. The thing was so big I could hardly fit it into my mouth (that's what she said). The fries were surprisingly good - not too salty, and fresh. These guys (see what I did there?) definitely know how to make their burgers and fries. And they don't skimp either. They packed my cup with fries, and then some. So much that it overflowed and covered my burger. I had to eat like 10-15 fries before I could finally take my burger out of the bag. I think it's crappy that they put it all in a bag even if you're eating there. However, I felt so sick after finishing it that it just wasn't worth it. I was out running errands and I kept craving a hamburger and just wasn't in the mood for a fast food chain. Since I was in Easton I decided I'd try this location. I ordered the little cheeseburger and little fries. I got lettuce pickles ketchup and mustard on my sandwich. I placed my order to go also. We stopped here for a quick lunch after LEGOLAND. Service was fast and efficient. I didn't wait very long when I went to order and it didn't take all that long for food to come out. My kids thought the views being on the second floor and over the mall was really cool and different. They are both under six so little things amusing them. I also found the area to be really clean. Busy, chaotic, no fun- but we have to pick something up at a store, and eat while we're there. Five Guys is centrally located and is semi-fast, so we swung by today. I had a bacon burger and Cajun fries. The burgers are double-decker and are pretty good- kind of middle ground between fast food burgers and gourmet ones, quality and price-wise. Good meat, fair bun and toppings. The fries were heavily seasoned and a bit spicy; a small was more than enough for me. They have a few other sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. Service was very friendly, though the wait seemed long for how busy they were. Is it my top choice for a burger? No. "Good not great." I almost always enjoy five guys. Their burgers are good and their fries are better then most. That being said the employees at this particular location leaves something to be desired. I John and myself team up and DoorDash together to get out of the house. We are both (I can't find the words at the moment but I'll go with) "clinically anxious" people. Doordashing gets us outside and into the world interacting with people whenever we feel like we can. When John and I DoorDashed to this location in the Easton mall we had a hard time finding parking so John ran in without me. He didn't take the phone that had the name for the order. He forgot the name and with his DoorDash bag in hand kindly asked if there was any chance they just had one order in. He was laughed at! We would understand if they told him that they can't give us the order without the name. Was out at Easton to take in a movie so why not grab some food and do a little shopping while making it a night out. Been to many five guys and this one a few times and their location is unique in the middle of the mall instead of their own stand alone store. Five Guys is fairly consistent with their food. Their burgers are great, the fries are overflowing, and they serve both Heinz and Coke which makes every meal a little bit better. I like my burgers here with bacon, extra grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Coming in on a Friday night they were semi busy and it took about fifteen minutes to get our orders. They seemed pretty steady as we sat and ate so if you want to eat here before going to see a movie make sure you give yourself a few extra minutes so you aren't rushed and don't have to miss the previews. The service was decent, their area was clean, and I was satisfied with everything I ate. Five Guys is good stuff, but I don't think it's anything to write home about. I enjoy it when I have it, but I don't crave it. Hence the three stars. The Easton location is convenient while shopping, but there's not too much space to eat if it's a busy time. Also, you kind of feel on display seated out on the balcony. That's not a big deal. The counter service is pretty efficient and they get the orders out rather quickly for them all being made to order. I like that they have alot of fresh topping for the burgers, but I usually stick to my standard (ketchup, mayo, lettuce, onion, tomato) I wish they offered a fried egg option! I like that the regular is two patties because: 1) calling it regular makes me feel like I'm not being a glutton and 2) the double patty makes the burger more substancial and feels more 'gormet' to me. I think the fries are absolutely delicious! I think it's cute how they denote where they are from. You can't beat properly cooked fresh cut fries! A couple of gripes. 1) The soda machine and condiments are is very cramped and if it's busy it's hard to get what you need easily. 2) The food is not very good when you get it to go. You need to eat this food hot off the grill/out of fryer or it just loses something. So, going to Five Guys is a sit down must for me. Five Guys offers a solid burger and fries for an OK price. The experience at the Easton Five Guys is way different from the other ones I've visited, and before it opened I wasn't sure how they were going to make it work. There's hardly any seating and the waiting area for your burgers seems ridiculously cramped. And it is. Those are the two reasons that this Five Guys isn't getting a five, because otherwise it is perfect. The burgers are perfectly done, and the toppings are always generously distributed. I always order the little cheeseburger because one patty is plenty for me, and once it's covered in tomato, mustard, grilled onions and pickles it's very, very filling. The fry sizes are sort of ridiculous, and my husband and I can split a large between us with some left over. They have vinegar sitting out for the fries, too, which is always a plus with me, but even without it the fries are well-textured and well-salted so they can be eaten without. The prices aren't cheap, but they aren't bad either, and you're definitely look at under ten per person which is on par to the other interior restaurants and much cheaper than what's found in the outdoor areas. I know there is a split camp on Five Guys. Usually, you'll either love them, or hate them. As you can see by my rating, I fall firmly in the love category. The servings are more than ample (I actually think the amount of fries they give you is rather silly, actually), the burgers are wonderfully juicy, tasty, and loaded with whatever toppings you want, and the price is extremely reasonable. The service is also fast and friendly; we went on a Friday night (after being told it was an hour wait at Melt), and had our food ordered and on the table within ten minutes. As an added bonus, all three of us were going to order fries (because I forgot how ridiculous the amount was), and the gentleman taking our order suggested we just get one order to share.
