One of the worse customer experience ever. I ordered food through their app and saw free delivery so I decided to choose that. Big mistake. I got an email confirming the order and that I would be delivered in 40 minutes. I called half an hour after the expected delivery time and was rudely told that they have been waiting for me to pick it up. I explained that I ordered delivery and the employee said that they don't deliver so I need to contact the delivery service I used. She wouldn't believe me that I used the app. The manager got on and I had to go through the same conversation with him. He finally admitted that it's a corporate issue and out of the stores control. The whole time he made it seem like it was my fault for using the app to order delivery and that he couldn't or wouldn't offer any solution but for me to drive out and pick up the food. The food was exactly what I expected from a five guys. That is not a negative, the chain has a style and the food met exactly that. However the mix on the drinks was all off and tasted gross. Finally the atmosphere was bad. The music was turned up so high, you could not even hold a conversation. The results is everyone in the location had to yell to be heard. For burgers and fries, with soda this is the place! They provide huge portions of marvelously heavy food. I'm a fan of the saute onions and saute mushrooms! Have checked out a bunch in the chain and they have excellent consistency all over! The biggest variation is that down south they expect peanut shells on the floor, but up north everyone cleans the table when they are done. NEVER ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE!!!!!! Let me just start this off by saying I'm a lifeguard at a pool. We all order food from different places and the delivery people always come into the pool and give us our food, as we are not allowed to leave the pool building. We also have about one-hour shifts, and we can't be on our phones at all during this time. I ordered two regular fries and a grilled cheese sandwich DIRECTLY from the website, and this cost $20 (personally I think that's a lot to ask for that amount of food, but I didn't care I was hungry). I got up on the stand and came back to find that I had missed some calls from them. I called the delivery boy. No answer. I called him two more times, and no response. Turns out, the delivery was being done through door dash, and this is not mentioned on the website. I called the store, and they said there was nothing there could. I didn't care too much, but then I checked my bank account to see THAT THEY CHARGED ME BEFORE THE DELIVERY! Why would any company think that's a good idea? So now, I am out $20 for no reason at all. These burgers are 100% as good as advertised. The regular already comes with 2 patties and whatever toppings you desire. Not only are these delicious burgers made to order but the toppings are fresh, the bacon is crisp and the buns are soft. I used to not be big on the fries but the cashier told us to try the cajun seasoning and it makes a huge difference. Gives the fries a great flavor that's not too strong. I've been diggin 5 Guys since I went to the little "stand" like building on Backlick Rd in Springfield. Not sure if it's there anymore. While my wife and I really try to be healthy and eat right, sometimes you just gotta have a fun (at home if you have kids) date night diet spoiler. I gotta say that while 5 Guys is not the best I've eaten nationally, it certainly is my choice spot for burgers and fries in the metro area, and it's close to my house which is a nice bonus. My recommendation? Bacon Cheeseburger with lettice, tomato, catsup, and half A-1. I gotta say that a double paddy of real beef really does the trick, and we always get it hot and juicy. Unless you have an entire tribe to feed, I normally stay away from the large fries since they always dose your bag with another large scoop of em. They provide malt vinegar too if you dig the boardwalk fry style (which I really do). All in all, a great local burger joint. read more

My husband and my children love the burgers and the fries. This is the best fast food place compared to McDonalds and Burger King. Although I should not be eating oily food, I find it difficult to resist the fries dipped in vinegar. I order the Little Burger and I only eat one piece of the bun. When my order was ready I asked the gentleman who hand out to me the brown bag, for my fries, I order two but only one was inside, so while I was trying to think through my order, he at the same time was saying that no second fries and (all this in matter of seconds) he told me with a not friendly tone of voice "Do you understand?" Worst experience at a 5 Guys ever. I will not be back, here or to any other location. First, no fries in the fryer or ready to serve. Over 12 minutes from when they were ordered until they were 'ready'. If by ready you mean half cooked and greasy. The burger wasn't much better. Not sure about you, but I prefer my cheese melted on the burger, not like warm sitting on top of the meat. Did not finish the fries or the burger. The only saving grace was the salted caramel shake. At most other Five Guys, I'd say the burgers are "very good" and occasionally "great," but never "excellent." And as for the fries, while enjoyable at other Five Guys, the ones here are thicker chunks of potato with less oil (although still more than enough...) pouring off than at the others. The soda fountains are modern, digital machines, where you can choose from among a wealth of sodas, many of them including the option to add a variety of flavored syrups. I visit other Five Guys on occasion when I'm hungry and am in a group where that's the consensus place to eat; however, I know I will now occasionally have a taste specifically for the food at this one and will go out of my way to come here. read more

These burgers are so tasty, and made fresh to order. No frozen patties here. Are they any healthier then fast food? Probably not in the end, because what they lack in preservatives and other nasty stuff, they make up for in calories and all those other things that are not good for you. But you get plenty for your buck and it tastes home made. Keep in mind that a "small" order of fries is really more of a large, since they also dump a tray into your bag beyond filling the cup. But they are fresh made from potatoes you can actually trace back to the source. The best part in my book is the fact that you can customize your burger in so many ways and most of the add ons are free! Just go with the quick shortcut, everything. The fries portion is ginormous. Oh gosh I finished it and was utterly sick. Not a great choice before an important meeting the next day. BAD: It felt a little pricy for "fast food". About $10 for a complete combo. EXTRA: The soda machine was touch screen. It had fanta peach! The service is always great; very polite and friendly staff. Five Guys burgers are always delicious and juicy. I love the variety of toppings and you can choose what goes on your burger. The portions will definitely fill you up, especially with the amount of fries they give you (which are fresh and delicious). If you like a little extra flavor to your fries I recommend the cajun fries, that cajun seasoning gives it that extra delicious kick you enjoy with anything seasoned with cajun.
