My husband ordered the Million Dollar Sandwich off the seasonal menu. The sandwich was the right size--not huge. It was a compilation of sweet and savory egg cooked perfection with million dollar bacon. I ordered the Strawberry Très Leche French Toast. The dulce de leche was the right amount coupled with the whipped cream. I did not add extra syrup as I felt it was sweet enough for my taste buds. read more

I took the time to leave a review because this has happened multiple times. It's very frustrating to order food only to find out that the order is wrong. Ingredients are missing, or the food doesn't include everything that the description says it should. On one occasion, my order was so incorrect that I drove back to the restaurant. I showed the employee at the front that my food was missing almost all of the ingredients listed in the description. She apologized and remade it, but the same issue has continued to happen. Customers should receive what they paid for, and I hope this problem is addressed. read more

Really enjoyed breakfast here. We were seated quickly and coffee and tea were delivered quickly. I liked the tea selection which had lemon slices and honey along with the regular sugars. My pancake was the size of a plate. It had pecans and raisins and carrots, like a carrot cake. My scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon was crisp and tasty. Stopped by First Watch for brunch earlier today and was pleasantly surprised. The location was packed but was able to get a seat somewhat quickly thanks to an online waitlist option. The service was fine not too pesty and the ambiance was very lively for a brunch spot. We ordered the Lavendar French Toast, Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich and the Kale Tonic as a beverage. The Lavendar French toast was actually really great, I opted out of the cinnamon sugar topping as it seemed to be sweet enough and was glad I did. The Lavendar cream really enhanced the entree. I was surprised how good the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich was since it seemed basic but the bread was so crispy and the aioli sauce made the sandwich great. I also really liked the Kale Tonic, the apple juice tasted really fresh and wasn't overly sweet. Overall, glad I stopped by. I've heard a lot about First Watch but never stopped by. You could definitely tell it was a chain from the typical above-small-diner "creative" menu and decor, but that didn't make the experience (or food) any less enjoyable. I recommend the hash bowl with steak! Though, there was probably only about 2oz of steak, which was disappointing, but they fill you up on potatoes so you don't notice, I suppose ;p half of the roasted potatoes were undercooked which was, underwhelming, and why I'm taking off an extra star. Went back after a visit to Penn Radnor since it was close. French toast, Farm stand breakfast tacos and a stay golden cinnamon roll. Everything was very good. French toast is one of my favorites now. I had a dr's appointment nearby so I popped in with my daughters for a bite . My kids ordered the steel cut oatmeal and a chocolate chip pancake , both came with pork sausage . I had the veggie omelette and I also ordered potatoes for the girls. Our server took our order and everything came out quickly. The sausages were way over cooked , the pancake was dry. My omelette was thin, more egg crepe than omelette. The potatoes did not come out so I kept trying to find the waitress. She was nowhere to be found until we were all done with our meal. I ask about the potatoes and she without apology or asking if we still want it says I'll grab it. She brings over the breakfast potatoes that are half undercooked and half burnt. Service is usually pretty good at this location, but today, it was terrible. Waited over 15 minutes for a server to approach my table. After being seated, server said he'd be right with us. Ten minutes later, he still didn't approach our table, but took an order at another table that was seated after us! Another server saw that we had been waiting for a long time offered to take our order, but at this point we decided to leave. I have been to this location many times and this server is very inconsistent. I discovered the First Watch in King of Prussia, and have been there twice since my visit to Villanova. The difference between these two locations is like night and day, will never go to the Villanova location again even though it is closer to my home. read more

I think her name was Olivia, she was so apologetic for our wait. It was fine it wasn't that long. She took our orders I got the chickenchanga, potatoes, toast. Usually I get the samething but decided to try something new. The chickenchanga was like an explosion in your mouth, had spicy chicken , chorizo , chilies, cheese , sour cream, and it also had a lemony sauce drizzled on top! First time visiting First Watch in the Wayne, PA location. My go to location is usually in cherry hill, NJ. The food was absolutely delicious as per usual, but I sadly have to give a 3 because of service. My bf and I came here for breakfast today. We gave our name to the hostess and only had to wait 10-15minutes to be seated. When we are finally seated, the waitress is nowhere to be found. Coffee mugs but no coffee, and she was just MIA. We waited a good bit and she finally comes and quickly gave us coffee and said she'd be back to take our orders. Waited a solid 15minutes for her to take our order. I checked the time and it took 52 MINUTES for our food to arrive!! 52!? It didn't look like they were short on staff, and the restaurant was busy but not busy where there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. I saw the table next to me wait a very long time to get their check and a family of 3 on the other side waiting to place an order. Not once did the waitress check in on us to apologize, ask us if we need anything like water, refill on coffee, etc. we waited 52minutes that we ended up finishing the pot of coffee and needed a refill. Food finally arrived (again, 52minutes later) and no apology or anything. Food was delicious and not disappointing at all. Just the service... I ordered the ham and gruyere omelette which was amazing. Very generous with the ham! Potatoes were perfectly cooked and I always love the artisan bread + jam. My bf ordered the farmhouse skillet hash which he also loved. Both dishes were very filling! Should have looked at the reviews before coming. Waited 20 min before a server came to table. Pumpkin pancake tasted like nothing; no pumpkin no spice. Had a few bites and left it. I requested real maple syrup; the pancake came with the bottle of syrup sitting on top. The bottle was dirty. Not sure how this made it out of the kitchen like that. We asked for the egg with the avocado toast to not be runny; they couldn't even get this right on the second try. We spoke to the manager on duty who could really care less about our complaints. We were looking for a mere diner, and up popped a restaurant labeling itself as an "upscale diner", so we strolled in the front door. Lunch was WONDERFUL. I had the Parma Hash Skillet - Italian sausage, potato, mushrooms, peppers & onions with a couple of fried eggs resting on top. The toast was thick homemade multi-grain and delicious. Also included was a small side of their homemade fruit jam and some cut fruit. All for about $13. Coffee/tea $3.50. Two of us got out of there just a little north of $30, and it was a hearty lunch that really satisfied us. Service was friendly and impeccable (I had some substitutions on my order and she got it perfectly - without writing anything down at the time of order). This location is close by to the hospital and conveniently next to Starbuck's. Plenty of parking space. We came and they did have outdoor seating but I am a person who likes to sit inside. Went in, got a table and sat down and ordered. I got the traditional breakfast and my daughter had an omelette with a side of cheesy grits and orange juice. The service was great. Food was great. We got seated right away only to wait at our table for 20 minutes before our waitress came over. She also gave my boyfriend dirty looks when ordering. On top of that I told her I'm recently gluten free and I still got a piece of bread served with my meal on the plate touching my food. I enjoyed a lovely brunch here yesterday with a colleague. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant is very open and bright and clean, with a moderate noise level during mid-morning. It feels very "hipster" and the menu is certainly no exception that, but everything looked/sounded appealing -- lots to choose from. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros Tostada, which was delicious! It was very nicely seasoned, made with fresh ingredients, and served at the perfect temperature. I wasn't a huge fan of the black bean slaw it came with. It tasted fine, it just didn't do anything for me; very few beans, mostly cabbage. The service was satisfactory. Our waitress was attentive and we did not have to wait long to receive our food. It was a little bit chaotic when we went to the front to pay at the register as two separate parties arrived at that moment. There was one host trying to juggle getting them seated while closing out tabs. (A crowd of people in the same small area -- hard to tell who's coming and going.) Restrooms were clean and stocked.
