    Western Omelette
    Anna Z.

I normally like Nudy's but then again I only get their eggs benedict. This time I decided to go with a western omelette and was very disappointed, not only once but twice in one sitting. I requested that the onions and peppers be cooked. I HATE raw onions and peppers. What I got was raw onions and peppers in my omelette! I requested that they redo the omelette which was not better, still hard and there was NO taste to the omelette! I always assumed that omelettes were made with the eggs wrapped around the fillings and not cooked along with it, which I believe not only dries out the eggs but also over cooks the egg. I just took it home and deconstructed it the next day and made it just the way I like it!

Nudy's never disappoints! Food came out quickly and was delicious, staff is always super kind. The best place in the area to go for lunch and a great place to sit outside if the weather is nice.

We went here for late breakfast/lunch and I was quite surprised to see it pretty empty! Granted, it was Eagles Sunday. The restaurant is very quaint, but a little more basic than many of the other locations. Our food was very good. We got the cinnamon roll French toast, the California Benedict, and a Buffalo chicken wrap. I did feel like service was lacking, though. We had an issue with one of the dishes (which was only mildly annoying), but our server didn't come back for us to correct the issue. When he did return, he asked if we needed anything, we were done. Additionally, a different server came around for coffee refills and only had regular coffee. My friend was drinking decaf, but she said she wanted more of that. The guy never came back with the decaf. We all were out of drinks for a bit. It was survivable, though annoying. I would try here again, but I would prefer the other locations to this one.

Food and service was very good. Enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast. I had the choc chip pecan pancakes and they were very good.

In fact, he said that he recognized a few of the staff there from the many times he'd been there before, though he hadn't been there in more recent years. Nice to have that history, and it's a charming spot - not modern like Sly Fox also in town, but I really appreciate the dive vibes! Each of us ordered a beer (I ordered an Icelandic one, which was quite nice), pretty great price on beer IMO, and the food was on point as well. I ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce, and they tasted great! Service was pretty great - our server was attentive and swung by a good amount of times to check on us, as we sat in the corner to try to have a little less noise vs being right by the bar. She's the one that my friend said he recognized from years past. Overall I definitely appreciated this spot and would absolutely be open to returning!

I enjoyed the ambiance and found it to have something quite special with all these flying pigs around. I ordered a Margherita, which was very good. There is an older man and woman (who I think are the owners). They're both just miserable. He'll at least thank me for my business, but she-- good lord it's like she's doing me a favor and absolutely annoyed at my buying food from them. I've shared that with friends who go there and we all have the same stiff interactions. They have good italian food - have tried several things and their pizzas - good, fresh crust and I think they have one of the better sauces around. But money is tighter than ever and it would be nice to be treated as a valued customer, not an interruption or annoyance. I think the clincher for me this time was the italian hoagie I ordered. It was bizarre from packaging (non-recyclable styrofoam container over paper wrap) to a hoagie made by someone that clearly knows nothing about hoagies - Wawa does a better job. I asked for oil and vinegar - and they didn't put it on the roll which is traditional. So when I picked it up all this oil came spilling out of the sandwich because they put it on the meat and cheese. And I tasted no vinegar. The tomatoes weren't sliced, as is tradition, but diced. That's just a sin in hoagie etiquette. Same with the onion. I took the whole thing apart when I got home, got out my own vinegar and olive oil out, and made it the right way. The roll was good.
